Hello everyone, dear The Anime Realm community, I hope you are all doing well. Today I want to share a new review with you. This time I'll talk about a rather curious anime, it's: Anonymous Noise.. and the thing is that this series can make many types of viewers vibrate, I went in thinking it would be another typical music anime, some romance, probably stupid drama.. but I totally underestimated it. It's a series that when it suits it can be quite emotional, but also frustrating, and in some way mesmerizing, it's weird. Even though you know that what you're watching may not be the best in the world... once you get interested in its characters, you want to see how the story ends... this anime is one of those in which it makes you want to shake or hit the protagonists so that they come to their senses and stop behaving like stupid teenagers, but hey, I guess we've all acted like a stupid teenager at some point... it would be very foolish to expect maturity from this type of people.
Talking a bit about the protagonists, we start with Nino, the protagonist, I think it's one of the few times I've felt so conflicted with a main character.. you can really get a little bit disliked by her, there were times where I wanted to cheer her on for her passion for music and the raw power of her voice and her determination to go after the people she cares about.. as in a way it can become somewhat inspiring, but then there were other times, and there were a lot of these moments, where she just acted in an immature and naive way, especially when it comes to her personal relationships. I mean, I get that she’s been through a lot.. she lost her childhood friend Momo, she feels abandoned, all that.. but her indecisiveness and her lack of complete awareness on how her actions affect other people just came off as really selfish to me several times.. it’s hard to connect with a person who makes you feel like they’re constantly ruining everything.. and then we have Yuzu, a guy who comes into her life.. he’s your typical short guy, with a bit of an effeminate face, who ends up falling deeply in love with this girl, and she just keeps him hooked, without him even realizing it..
I mean, yeah, he knows that she’s in love with someone else, but the way she keeps going back and forth and confusing him just seemed really frustrating to me. I guess it feels somewhat real, because we're talking about teenagers who don't know how to regulate their emotions or don't have much empathy, let's say, but I don't know, obviously things start to turn into the classic love triangle, but still a lot of their behaviors are unfair.. it's relatable, but also frustrating, she should let this boy heal and move on with his life, instead of just tying him up to have a friend and continue hurting him..

Hola a todos, querida comunidad de The Anime Realm, espero que se encuentren muy bien.. el día de hoy les quiero compartir una nueva reseña. Esta vez les hablaré de un anime bastante curioso, se trata de: Anonymous Noise.. y es que esta serie puede hacer vibrar a muchos tipos de espectadores, yo entré pensando que sería otro anime típico de música, algo de romance, probablemente drama estúpido.. pero lo subestimé totalmente. Es una serie que cuando le conviene puede ser bastante emocional, pero también frustrante, y de alguna manera hipnotizante, es raro. Aunque sabes que lo que estás viendo tal vez no sea lo mejor del mundo.. una vez que te interesas por sus personajes, quieres ver cómo acaba la historia.. este anime es de esos en los que te provoca sacudir o golpear a los protagonistas para que entren en razón y dejen de comportarse como adolescentes estúpidos, pero bueno, supongo que todos en algún momento hemos llegado a actuar como un adolescente estúpido.. sería muy tonto esperar madurez de este tipo de personas.
Hablando un poco de los protagonistas, empezamos con Nino, la protagonista, creo que es de las pocas veces que me he sentido tan conflictuado con un personaje principal.. realmente puede llegar a caerte un poco mal, hubo momentos en los que quería animarla por su pasión a la música y el poder crudo de su voz y su determinación para perseguir a las personas que le importan.. ya que de cierta manera puede volverse algo inspirador, pero luego hubo otros momentos, y hubo muchos de estos momentos, en los que solo actuaba de una manera inmadura e ingenua, especialmente cuando se trata de sus relaciones personales. Quiero decir, entiendo que ha pasado por muchas cosas.. perdió a su amigo de la infancia, Momo, se siente abandonada, todo eso.. pero su indecisión y su falta de total conciencia sobre cómo sus acciones afectan a otras personas, se me hizo muy egoísta varias veces.. es difícil conectar con una persona que te hace sentir que lo está arruinando todo constantemente.. y luego tenemos a Yuzu, un chico que entra en su vida.. es el típico chico bajito, con una cara un poco afeminada, que termina enamorado profundamente de esta chica, y ella simplemente lo mantiene enganchado, sin siquiera darse cuenta..
Quiero decir, sí, él sabe que ella está enamorada de otra persona, pero la forma en la que ella sigue yendo, viniendo y confundiéndolo me pareció realmente frustrante. Supongo que se siente de cierta forma real, porque estamos hablando de adolescentes que no saben regular sus emociones o que no tienen mucha empatía, que digamos, pero no sé, obviamente las cosas empiezan a girar en el clásico triángulo amoroso, pero aun así muchos de sus comportamientos son injustos.. es relatable, pero también frustrante, ella debería dejar que este chico sane y siga con su vida, en vez de solo atarlo para tener un amigo y continuar haciéndole daño..

Talking a little about the characters, as I told you, Yuzu is quite adorable.. he's a short composer who is relatively charming, there's a comical gag around him since he's always drinking milk to try to grow haha, and it's something quite light and nice to see.. I think he's one of the most normal characters, so to speak.. but, man, this story makes him go through a lot of things that make me feel a little sorry for him.. his relationship with Nino is one of the most central parts of the anime, but it can also be one of the most heartbreaking.. he's so supportive of her, writing music for her to sing, being her emotional crutch, and yet, you can see how much it's tearing him apart inside.. Honestly, if I were him, I would have gotten out of there a long time ago.. my emotional stability should be important enough to choose me, but no, he's still there with her, suffering in silence because he secretly loves her, it's beautiful and tragic at the same time.. many times you feel like hugging him or yelling at him that move on and get as far away from those people as possible.
And then there’s Momo, well I don’t want to give too much away about him but let’s just say that he has that mysterious air that girls love and he obviously wins the protagonist over in a pretty easy way but he also makes you want to slap him for being so cold.. he’s the typical cold, emo, kinda cliché guy stereotype, which I find very frustrating, the way he and Nino relate to each other is so random, because you can feel all of his hope shattering in an instant.. it’s weird to watch. The anime explores all of these first love things and how it can be so powerful and consuming but also how you can get trapped in the past if you don’t let it go.. Nino’s obsession with Momo is one of the central conflicts of the plot and while it made me roll my eyes (🙄) a lot of times, I have to admit that it also feels a little real.. although it’s not to my total liking either.

Hablando un poco sobre los personajes, como les había comentado, Yuzu es bastante adorable.. es un compositor de pequeña estatura que es relativamente encantador, hay un gag cómico alrededor de él, ya que siempre está tomando leche para intentar crecer jaja, y es algo bastante ligero y agradable de ver.. creo que es de los personajes más normales, por así decirlo.. pero, hombre, esta historia lo hace pasar por muchas cosas que me hacen sentir un poco de pena por él.. su relación con Nino es de las partes más centrales del anime, pero también puede llegar a ser una de las más desgarradoras.. es tan solidario con ella, escribiendo música para que ella cante, siendo su muleta emocional, y, sin embargo, puedes ver cuánto lo está desgarrando por dentro.. Honestamente, si fuera él, me habría largado de allí hace tiempo.. mi estabilidad emocional debería ser lo suficientemente importante para elegirme a mí, pero no, él sigue ahí con ella, sufriendo en silencio porque la ama en secreto, es hermoso y a la vez trágico.. muchas veces te dan ganas de abrazarlo o de gritarle que siga adelante y se aleje lo más posible de esas personas.
Y luego está Momo, bueno, no quiero revelar mucho sobre él, pero digamos que tiene ese aire misterioso que les encanta a las chicas y obviamente conquista a la protagonista de una manera bastante fácil, pero también te hace querer abofetearlo por ser tan frío.. es el típico estereotipo de chico frío, emo, un poco cliché, que me resulta muy frustrante, la forma en la que él y Nino se relacionan es tan aleatoria, porque puedes sentir toda su esperanza romperse en un instante.. es extraño de ver. El anime explora todas estas cosas del primer amor y cómo puedes ser tan poderoso y consumidor, pero también cómo puedes atraparte en el pasado si no lo dejas ir.. la obsesión de Nino con Momo es uno de los conflictos centrales de la trama y aunque me hizo poner los ojos en blanco (🙄) muchas veces, tengo que admitir que también se siente un poco real.. aunque de igual manera no es de mi total agrado.

Now, talking a little about the music, let's say that it is the most redeeming feature of this series... I thought it was phenomenal, if you like anime focused on music, this one is a must just for the soundtrack... Nino's singing has all that emotional and wild power, but at the same time unpolished, that simply grabs you and doesn't let go... the songs of the fictional band are absolute hits, they have all that punk-rock touch that gives the show a lot of energy and emotion, there are certain scenes in which Nino simply lets loose during a performance and I swear it can give you chills in the best sense of the word.
Here the music is not just background noise, it is a central part of the story and the characters... it is as if they express themselves through the songs, all that they cannot say and how they deal with their pain... that is reflected in the music and of course in the way in which they expel all that sentimentality... it is amazing how much emotion there can be in certain notes. That being said, the animation during the band scenes, well... leaves a lot, a lot to be desired, I understand that animating live musical performances can be difficult, but some of the visuals were just awkward to watch, there's so much stiff movement and angles, it's weird... it completely takes you out of the epicness of the moment. It's frustrating because the music itself is so powerful.. and it's normal to want the visuals to match all that intensity but they just don't and it's a little cringeworthy, it's obviously not powerful enough to completely ruin the experience, but it's definitely a very weak point.

Ahora, hablando un poco de la música, digamos que es de lo más rescatable de esta serie.. a mí me pareció fenomenal, si te gustan los animes centrados en la música, este es obligatorio solo por la banda sonora.. El canto de Nino tiene toda esa potencia emocional y salvaje, pero a la vez sin pulir, que simplemente te agarra y no te suelta.. las canciones de la banda ficticia son absolutos éxitos, tienen todo ese toque punk-rock que le da al programa mucha energía y emoción, hay ciertas escenas en las que Nino simplemente se suelta durante una actuación y juro que puede darte ciertos escalofríos en el mejor sentido de la palabra.
Aquí la música no es solo un ruido de fondo, es una parte central de la historia y los personajes.. es como si estos se expresaran a través de las canciones, todo eso que no pueden decir y cómo lidian con su dolor.. eso se ve reflejado en la música y por supuesto en la manera en la que ellos expulsan todo ese sentimentalismo.. es asombroso cuánta emoción puede haber en ciertas notas. Dicho esto, la animación durante las escenas de la banda, pues... dejan mucho, mucho que desear, entiendo que animar actuaciones musicales en vivo pueda ser difícil, pero algunos de los visuales fueron simplemente incómodos de ver, hay muchos movimientos y ángulos rígidos, es extraño.. te saca por completo de todo lo épico del momento.. Es frustrante porque la música en sí es muy poderosa.. y es normal querer que los visuales coincidan con toda esa intensidad, pero simplemente no lo hacen y da un poco de pena ajena, obviamente no es lo suficientemente potente para arruinar completamente la experiencia, pero definitivamente es un punto muy débil.

As for the ending, well, I have another complaint... it feels very incomplete, I didn't like it, since it's not a closure at all, it's as if the anime was begging you to go read the manga to find out how it all ends and who Nino is going to end up with at the end, they never give you any clues or anything... obviously you can feel a little cheated. I get that adaptations do this all the time, but come on, after all the emotional immersion, I wanted some sort of more specific resolution, and instead it's like, "Well, I guess you'll just have to read the manga to find out what happens next." I mean, I did end up skimming the manga a little to find out how it was going to end, because I needed answers, but it still felt like such an easy way out. If you're going to get me that hooked, at least give me a good ending, but honestly, even with its flaws, I guess I enjoyed it. The characters are so messy and frustrating that they feel real, the themes of unrequited love, longing, and using music as an emotional escape can pull right at your heartstrings.
And the music, well, as I was saying, is the best. Yes, the animation could have been a lot better, and Nino drove me crazy many times, but the emotional moments can more than make up for these flaws, so, to all of you, if you like typical romance anime full of drama and music with a touch of angst, then you should give it a chance. You can enjoy it quite a bit.. just be prepared for a bit of frustration and an ending that will leave you wanting much more. I give it a rating of 6.8/10. It doesn’t have enough heart to give it a higher position, but I guess to pass the time or just distract yourself it can be ideal.. also, you can find some musical gems to listen to some time later.. without anything else to say, I hope you liked this review. En cuanto al final, pues bueno, tengo otra queja.. se siente muy incompleto, a mí no me gusto, ya que no es para nada un cierre, es como si el anime te estuviera rogando que vayas a leerte el manga para saber como termina todo y con quien se va a quedar Nino al final, nunca te dan pistas ni nada.. obviamente te puedes sentir un poco estafado. Entiendo que las adaptaciones hacen esto todo el tiempo, pero vamos, después de toda la inmersión emocional, quería algún tipo de resolución más específica, y, en cambio, es como que: "Bueno, supongo que tendrás que leer el manga para averiguar que pasa después" Quiero decir, si terminé asomándome un poco al manga para saber como iba a terminar, porque necesitaba respuestas, pero aun así se sintió como una salida muy fácil.. si vas a engancharme tanto, al menos dame un buen desenlace final, pero honestamente, incluso con sus defectos, supongo que lo disfruté.. los personajes son tan desordenados y frustrantes que se sienten reales, los temas de amor no correspondido, anhelo y uso de la música como escape emocional te pueden llegar directo al corazón.
Y la música, pues, como les decía, es de lo mejor.. Sí, la animación podría haber sido mucho mejor, y Nino me volvió loco muchas veces, pero los momentos emocionales pueden compensar estos fallos con creces, entonces, a todos ustedes, si les gustan los animes de romance típicos llenos de drama y música con un toque de angustia, pues deberían darle una oportunidad.. Pueden disfrutarlo bastante.. solo prepárense para un poco de frustración y un final que te dejará queriendo mucho más. Yo le doy una calificación de 6.8/10. No tiene tanto corazón para darle una posición más alta, pero supongo que para pasar el rato o simplemente distraerte puede ser ideal.. además, puedes encontrar algunas joyas musicales para escuchar tiempo después.. sin nada más que decir, espero que les haya gustado esta reseña.
