   Hola Hivers, así como es de costumbre estoy atento a lo que se va agregando en uno de los servicios de streaming más importantes del mundo de la industria del entretenimiento, en este caso analizaré una producción que si bien esta recién agregada al catálogo es del año pasado. Es una producción que trata de seres de otro planeta que causarán muchos estragos en la tierra, esta película se llama Attraction 2 (Invasion).

   Así como a todos los amantes de las películas nos ha pasado alguna vez, vi la segunda película antes de tan siquiera saber que existe una primera producción, esa película donde arranca toda la historia ¿les ha pasado alguna vez?, pues ese es mi caso hoy con esta producción. Al estrenarse esta producción en el catálogo de Netflix podemos pensar que es una historia desarrollada en una película única teniendo en cuenta el título y el poster en español, sin embargo, no lo es y esto queda totalmente al descubierto luego de los primeros minutos de producción.

   Este aspecto es importante para resaltarlo debido a que dentro de la misma plataforma no tenemos disponible esa primera producción que de alguna manera nos encarrile a esta segunda aventura. Indudablemente esto afecta la opinión del espectador debido a que la trama nos introduce inmediatamente en situaciones que son producto o consecuencias de hechos ocurrido en esa primera película.

   Años después primer contacto alienígena, la humanidad será testigo de un ataque extraterrestre para erradicar una amenaza que estadísticamente activa los protocolos de defensa de los seres del espacio, dando lugar a una lucha donde la humanidad cuenta con pocos argumentos para salir victoriosos. Una lucha entre la inteligencia artificial y la percepción humana de lo correcto e incorrecto será el punto de partida de las hostilidades.

   Análisis de la Película

   Esta es una película de origen ruso, con una duración de más de 130 minutos la podemos catalogar dentro del género de ciencia ficción, específicamente de extraterrestres, sin embargo, no debemos esperar una secuencia llena de acción, de hecho el drama se sobrepone en esta historia aunque podemos notar que los efectos visuales son bien utilizados en esta producción.

   El inicio

   Así como he comentado en párrafos anteriores, esta es la segunda película desarrollando esta historia, por lo cual al inicio nos coloca en un punto lleno de lagunas y vacíos si no hemos visto la primera producción. Observamos un intro con algunos aspectos claves que sucedieron en la película pasada pero en mi opinión no son suficientes para encarrilar la primera hora de rodaje sin tener en cuenta la película anterior.

   Al decidir ver esta producción así como lo hice yo nos encontraremos en una situación incómoda debido a esos vacíos provocados por no saber lo que sucedió en la película anterior, a este aspecto se le añade el tiempo involucrado en una extensa introducción a la trama, básicamente no veremos algo de acción antes de los primeros 40 minutos de rodaje.

   Desde mi punto de vista el exceso de tiempo es el principal aspecto negativo que posee esta película, una introducción larga antes de llegar al momento que todos deseamos ver, al de los buenos efectos especiales y las emociones. Aunque al pasar el tiempo se puede entender al menos lo básico para comprender la película la etapa para llegar al momento emocionante de la producción tarda mucho en llegar y por momentos la película se hunde en un espiral de aburrimiento que abarca básicamente la primera hora de la película. Siendo sincero estuve a punto de cambiar de película por la situación incómoda de no saber nada de la trama y por ese tiempo que se pierde para llegar a las escenas emocionantes. Desde mi percepción esta película siendo mucho más corta podría obtener una mejor apreciación de los espectadores.

   La película comienza con un ritmo lento y tedioso, pero luego comienza a acelerar a un ritmo más interesante con un poco de acción incluido, sin embargo, no hay un ritmo constante en esa etapa pero sin dudas se vuelve en una producción mucho más interesante a partir de la primera hora de rodaje.

   Los efectos visuales causan la impresión o el impacto esperado en una secuencia de ciencia ficción, no siendo exagerados y muy decentes en comparación a las productoras más famosas de América, en ese sentido creo que observamos un crecimiento en este aspecto técnico en este país y en Europa en general. Desde mi percepción hay historias que se pueden desarrollar con pocos efectos visuales, sin embargo, el género de ciencia ficción es un género que demanda cada vez efectos visuales de calidad y en ese sentido esta producción rusa cumple al menos a primera vista con esa exigencia.

   Ficción y Realidad

   Muchas películas de este género muestran en su historia aspectos que nos invitan a pensar sobre posibles escenarios en nuestra vida real, no necesariamente sobre un futuro lejano sino situaciones que pueden ocurrir hoy mismo. Ese encuentro entre la ficción y la realidad es tocado en esta película, específicamente sobre el tema de la dependencia de la tecnología, redes sociales y demás, teniendo todos nuestros datos e incluso nuestra voz y que además pueden ser manipulados. Aunque en la producción ocurre producto del ataque extraterrestre, nos otorga un mensaje implícito sobre la manipulación de la información y como un ciberataque puede generar un escenario apocalíptico en nuestra sociedad.

   Opinión personal

   Desde mi punto de vista la película nos muestra una base poco atractiva para desarrollar una historia de ciencia ficción, otorgando más drama de lo necesario y alargado en demasía el rodaje de la película. Me parece que la relación entre el novio extraterrestre y nuestra protagonista humana es algo que hemos visto en muchos géneros, sobre todo el hecho de que desarrolla poderes sobrehumanos. Aunque no quiero aundar en este aspecto para no arruinar alguna experiencia, me parece algo que ya es exagerado posiblemente saliendo de la ciencia ficción para insertarse más en la fantasía.
