Back to the Future is a successful film series. Attempts have already been made to present a game for the NES. The game Back to the Future or Back to the Future was released in 1989 and was released by LJN. It's just loosely based on the plot of the film. Unfortunately, it stayed with one attempt. The NES variant has very bad gameplay and even worse music. The game is not very well designed.
Gameplay
Mainly it is about using Marty McFly through different parts of the year 1955. The gameplay consists of skating, collecting clocks and avoiding obstacles. There are also some mini-games, such as throwing milkshakes at Biff. The aim is to avoid Marty disappearing in the future.

If his image fades in a photo that can be seen at the bottom of the screen, he loses a life. It takes 100 clocks to restore its unfaded status. To support him, he gets 2 power-ups, which, for example, can eliminate enemies or speed up the game.
Summary
I'll keep it short with this game. The gameplay is poor and the game for the NES has become a complete disaster. Unfortunately, the game for Back to the Future is not recommended. So I can only recommend: Stay away.
