From my perspective, they were quite superficial and somewhat unpleasant people who didn't share their interests or who they simply didn't like. At one point in the story, she and her friends are invited to a party, which they decide to attend. During the event, the protagonist, in the middle of the celebration, humiliates a girl who was already the target of constant ridicule from the others.
This girl, named Juliet Sykes (played by Elena Kampouris), suffered bullying at school from many of her classmates, especially from this group of girls, and particularly from the protagonist, Samantha "Sam" Kingston, played by actress Zoey Deutch.
Feeling superior to Julie and without a shred of guilt for her recent humiliation, Sam leaves the party with her friends. At an inopportune moment, they are involved in a car accident, hitting the girl they had just humiliated. I think it's quite a traumatic story, and many might find it somewhat exaggerated, but as a girl who suffered bullying for a long time, I can tell you that the experience of being bullied is very overwhelming. However, I wouldn't wish such a terrible punishment on my aggressors. Desde mi perspectiva, eran personas bastante superficiales y algo desagradables con quienes no compartían sus mismos intereses o simplemente no les agradaban. En un momento de la trama, a ella y a sus amigas les proponen asistir a una fiesta, a la que deciden ir. Durante el evento, la protagonista, en medio de la celebración, humilla a una chica que ya era objeto de constantes burlas por parte de los demás.
Esta chica llamada Juliet Sykes (Interpretada por Elena Kampouris) sufría bullying en la escuela por muchos de sus compañeros y especialmente por este grupo de chicas y especialmente por la protagonista Samantha "Sam" Kingston interpretada por la actriz Zoey Deutch.

Después de múltiples intentos, la protagonista lleva a cabo un último acto desesperado. Se siente abrumada por la humillación que infligió a la joven y decide suicidarse, con la esperanza de que así la chica no muera ya que en cada repetición de los eventos, curiosamente, la joven que sufría bullying siempre fallecía, lo que llenó a la protagonista de culpa. Al optar por quitarse la vida, busca encontrar la paz tanto consigo misma como con la chica a la que había humillado.
Creo que es una historia bastante traumática y a muchos pudiera parecerles un tanto exagerada, pero como una chica que ha sufrido bullying durante mucho tiempo, puedo decirles que la experiencia de sufrir acoso escolar es muy abrumadora. Sin embargo, no le desearía un castigo tan atroz a mis agresores. En lugar de eso, creo que es fundamental promover la empatía y la comprensión, para que todos podamos aprender de estas experiencias y trabajar juntos para crear un ambiente más solidario y respetuoso.
