Hello everyone, today we will be talking about Big Love, and like the title implies, it is big love indeed. The storyline follows a lady named Adina and a guy called Adil. Adina happens to be a very reserved kind of lady who's doing all in her power to build a life for herself. Adil is a cool guy too, building his life but at the same time showing and making his feelings are known to Adina.
They actually both met at a training, and that was where it all started, and during the training they've both been making things known to each other. Both knew they liked one another, but towards the end of the training, Adina backed out; she began to act somehow. You know the training is coming to an end, and to her, all they have going is ending too. They got posted to different places after the training, but Adil wouldn't take it. He's not ready to let go of the relationship; that's how he used his connections and all and got posted to the same state Adina got posted to as well, hoping their love lives would continue.
Along the line, he began to see different things Adina didn't make known to him before; he saw that she was a single mother, and because Adil is from a wealthy family, Adina felt somehow and didn't want to continue the relationship so they wouldn't think it's because Adil is from a rich home. Adil, on his own part, loves Adina's son; his name is Jayden, so he has no problem about it at all. What he has and feels for Adina is true and genuine.
A lot later happened, especially after Adil introduced Adina to his family. And what began as a love story eventually becomes complicated, while leaving one to ask if love can actually survive anything placed in its way.
I enjoyed this movie so much, I can't help but smile and all throughout the movie. I felt the love, the emotions, and the romance, and all were so real.
Timini played the role of Adil, and he did justice to that character. That guy is just so good; you know he often acts as a playboy, an unserious guy, and all of that, but here in this movie it is different. I love him as a lover boy. A lover boy who isn't ashamed to show it. It felt like he was even doing too much, but then, I still loved it.
Bimbo Ademoye played the role of Adina, and honestly, I can't stop loving that woman. She was not the type waiting for a man to save her or come to her rescue; she was independent, living her own life and all of that.
What I love most in this movie is the chemistry between both of them. I love how the movie showed and explored it. There are times I'd think they actually had something going on in real life, especially how they're always comfortable around each other and acting out romantic scenes. Sooo natural, like effortlessly.
I'm
I enjoyed the movie so much, but then it didn't contain enough suspense; I could always predict what was going to happen and how the movie would finally end.
Even still, I enjoyed the movie so much. Not a perfect love story, though; they did justice to it. It gave me the kind of emotions, romance, drama, humor, love, and family palava that I want.
