That's what you could write, if it wasn't for the fact that after 25 years we got another part of the most laid-back duo in the history of cinema Bill and Tedd are still the same 17 year olds only 25 years older. I watched this movie and enjoyed it, I even laughed a lot at the jokes. It's a movie that people will like, where the action is so crazy but subtle, that they will feel for a moment the "power" coming out of this movie

Keanu Reeves despite nearly 60 years in the film is still the young spirit who has his famous sayings or moves So does Alex Winter, who here doesn't play Bill but is Bill in flesh and blood.

You can accuse the film of weak cgi, and the plot is a little crumbling in places, but the heart here is all about these two and what their final adventure is, and it's so interestingly constructed that it's safe to say this is the best Bill and Ted

The film is partly a continuation of the second part, where Bill and Ted had to create the best song, but after 25 years the future claimed them, saying that they have only 77 minutes to create a song that will unite the world and not let it annihilate them. Ted and Bill have loving princess wives (of a bygone era ;)) and young daughters who will help put together the best band for their fathers.

The film, despite being a comesy, tries to show that eternal teenagers need to grow up and love their family. I liked the way Bill and Ted have to show what really matters in their lives, not just acting and saying Dude.

Overall the movie is pretty funny, a lot of funny scenes, a lot of them coming from a good joke or suddenly annihilating everyone accidentally ;) It is a film for everyone, there is no vulgarity and each of the characters behaves normally.

There is no political correctness or controversy here, it is a comedy which is supposed to show that even though it is 2021 it is possible to make a crazy comedy without vulgarity, but with a lot of fun for the actors, but also for the audience. It is a comedy which we may forget in a month, but the day we watch it we will have fun.

I recommend the movie the last adventure of the craziest teenagers, where a phone booth was a kind of time machine, and the word Dude appears every few sentences ;) 8/10

I have not looked up other reviews, but I cannot have been the first person to use that for the review title. This movie has no right to be this good. It is a sequel to a twenty-nine-year-old movie, itself a bizarre sequel. The first movie saw the Time Traveler Rufus help the duo complete a history project by letting them travel throughout time and meat all these historical figures, all so they can pass the test so they could eventually write a song that would unify the world. Mind you they aren't even musicians, they don't know how to play. Also, they bring back two princesses with them to the modern age to be their girlfriends. The second movie they are killed by robot doubles from the future and they end up going to hell and attempting to escape, only to get out by beating the Grim Reaper in a series of children's games. Now, thirty years later, they still have not written the song that unites the world, and if they don't' all time and space will end.

This entire franchise had no business getting a following, but it did. Those first two movies found just the right mix of bizarre moments and just enough heart behind its messages of unity, and Bill and Ted are just such a fun pair that they managed to stick around in people's hearts. So here we are now, all these years later, and it's like the franchise never missed a step. All the things that made everyone love those first two movies are alive and well here. Furthermore, a lot of the same actors (Sadly George Carlin couldn't play the part of Rufus, :( ) are back, and most notably Keanu and Winter, the ones playing Bill and Ted, are much better actors than they use to be. They keep all the charm of their original portrayals of the characters, and now with some more emotionally impactful moments, they really manage to deliver. I honestly think this makes this movie the best of the three.

Two plots are running through the film, Bill and Ted traveling through time to meet the versions of them in the future who wrote the song, and their daughters traveling into the past assembling a band of the world's greatest musicians throughout History to play the song Bill and Ted will write. All the while Bill and Ted are being attacked by a Robot from the future under the idea that, if Bill and Ted were to die, that may prevent the world from ending. I'm not going to say the twist surprises me, I honestly saw it coming from the beginning of the movie, but this is one of those times that isn't a problem.

This movie has taken a franchise that was largely a silly joke, and through all the goodwill and love the characters built up, with more of a focus being placed on the show shows themes of unity, coming together, and self-acceptance, and made a move that I feel is something much more than the premise would have you believe it could be. I'm not saying you have to have watched the previous films to enjoy this, but you certainly are going to be missing out on a lot. I especially love how much respect the movie shows to Rufus, whose actor in real life passed away. So much more thought and passion went into this project than I was expecting.

All that said, there is no getting around the fact the entire premise of the plot makes no damn sense. You never find out why time is collapsing, you never find out why exactly them playing the song in the manner they do stops the world from ending, and the more you try to make sense of how Time Travel works in the world the less you understand it. What you need to realize, despite all I said before, is this movie is a comedy through and through. All sense is thrown out the window for the sake of the jokes. This isn't something that is going to sit well with everyone, but if you can see yourself being fine with that this won't be a problem for you.

And as a comedy, it's hard to judge if you'd like it or not. You either find it funny or you don't, and if you can' look at the plot synopsis I gave and think it sounds amusing, you're likely to enjoy the wild ride the movie is. For myself, there was not a moment I stopped laughing. Even the moments that are legit touching had so much going on I was laughing through them, though it didn't take away from the emotional impact. This movie will live or die for you purely on whether or not it makes you laugh because if you can't get into the humor you are going to be bombarded nonstop with jokes you don't find funny.

I love this movie, and it has been so long since I've seen a movie that made me this happy. Everything about it makes me happy, and I love that this year has seen so many things I love somehow make a comeback and be good (Rune Factory 4 and Brigandine being the others), specifically things that in a sane a logical world had no hope of ever seeing the light of day again. Thank god we don't live in a sane and logical world.

Tercera entrega de la saga de Bill y Ted, pero lo más interesante de todo es que sucedió casi 30 años después de la segunda entrega de estas películas!

Third installment of the Bill and Ted saga, but the most interesting of all is that it happened almost 30 years after the second installment of these films!

La primera de entrega fue Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure que se estrenó en 1989, teniendo una gran receptividad y para muchos siendo una película de culto, la segunda no fue tan aclamada, pero está en el recuerdo de muchos. Ambas tratan más o menos de lo mismo, con viajes en el tiempo y muchas cosas ilógicas, aunque de vez en cuando provocan risa.

The first installment was Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure which was released in 1989, having a great receptivity and for many being a cult film, the second was not so acclaimed, but it is in the memory of many. They both deal with more or less the same thing, with time travel and many illogical things, although from time to time they provoke laughter.

Ahora hablando propiamente de esta película, de verdad no sé qué se fumaron los escritores al hacer esta película. Tiene momentos cómicos y para ser una película para ver un domingo cumple, pero sin más.

Now properly speaking of this movie, I really don't know what the writers got into making this movie. It has comic moments and to be a movie to see on a Sunday it meets, but without more.

La historia comienza muy floja y lenta y a medida que va avanzando se vuelve ligeramente mejor, con escenas muy sencilla y excéntricas que son fieles a las entregas anteriores de la saga.

The story begins very lazy and slow and as it progresses it becomes slightly better, with very simple and eccentric scenes that are faithful to the previous installments of the saga.

Los efectos especiales fueron de baja calidad, se nota que la inversión de la película fue muy pequeña (aunque intenten demostrar de que esto es a propósito y parte del encanto de la película), y parece más que quisieran depender de esta segunda edad de oro de Keanu Reeves.

The special effects were of low quality, you can see that the investment of the film was very small (although they try to show that this is on purpose and part of the charm of the film), and it seems more that they wanted to depend on this second golden age by Keanu Reeves.

Siguiendo con Reeves y los demás actores, tengo que decir que el primero fue el peor de todos. Alex Winter estuvo más entregado y más metido en el papel (me imagino que porque sabe que está puede ser una última oportunidad para su carrera), mientras que los actores secundarios cumplen todos muy bien, sobre todo Samara Weaving que me pareció la mejor del film.

Continuing with Reeves and the other actors, I have to say that the first one was the worst of all. Alex Winter was more dedicated and more involved in the role (I imagine that because he knows that this could be a last chance for his career), while the supporting actors do all very well, especially Samara Weaving who seemed to me the best in the film.

Poco más se puede decir de esta película, que no me pareció un fracaso total, aunque si me decepcionó que trajeran de vuelta estos personajes de esta forma, ya que en unos meses muy pocos de nosotros se acordarán de este film, y para ser una película de culto, mereció que todos estuvieran hablando de ella ahora mismo.

Little more can be said about this film, which did not seem like a total failure, although I was disappointed that these characters were brought back in this way, since in a few months very few of us will remember this film, and to be one cult movie, it deserved that everyone was talking about it right now.
