In this show, story develops around out of control magic that is about to destroy the world.
Absurd concept of magic but few interesting moments, like when (in episodes 8 and 9) those who hold world's destiny settle duel with a contest of logic instead of fighting.
Entertaining-ish but not good overall.

Released in 2012, with a total of 24 episodes, where the story is divided into two parts; directed by Masahiro Ando and under the Bones studio. The genre is action, drama, fantasy, mystery, psychological and romance.
Yoshino Takigawa and Mahiro Fuwa are two childhood friends with very different personalities from each other, and the story will focus on them, as well as Fuwa Aika, Mahiro's sister and Yoshino's secret girlfriend, who was murdered, and Hakaze Kusaribe, a talented magician and leader of the Kusaribe clan, who protect the "Tree of Genesis", the source of their magic.
Mahiro disappears one day in search of his sister's murderer, after a while, Yoshino finds his whereabouts and finds to his surprise that he has made a deal with a magician named Hakaze, who is exiled on an island and communicates through a wooden doll, promising him that if he saves her and the world, she will help him solve Aika's case.
From here, the relationship of these 3 begins in search of answers about the Tree of Exodus, nemesis of the Tree of Genesis and the mysterious murder of Aika, so dangerous adventures await them.
This story is set in the modern world, but is governed by its own rules, its own mythology, that is the first thing to understand about this anime, since, from this, the characters will revolve around the facts of the beginning of everything, the genesis of their world. So, you have to pay close attention to the facts that are presented, do not miss the details, because if not, you may not understand much of what the plot is about, but it is not a negative point, rather, it makes it dynamic and interesting.
There are many references to Shakespeare's plays, especially Hamlet and The Tempest, so if you are a lover of these works, it can be your ideal anime; they also say that you will understand the anime better if you have already read them, however, I have not done it, and I understood it, of course, if I felt like reading them, but I did not have the time and I let it pass. Anyway, it is an anime that leaves you hooked and if we talk about the animation, for being from that year, I see it very well and quite attractive.
The plot is quite good, although there are many twists and turns in it, who is the enemy and who is the ally, of those who are behind all this plot, but most of all, who starts and revolves around all this mess: Who killed Aika, which will only be revealed at the end, so if you want to know, you have to watch the whole series. In itself, all this makes it extremely attractive and makes much use of metaphor, so it may not be easy to understand at first or is not for a general audience, however, it enriches it in many ways.

The story in general, the mystery that surrounds it, leaves you wanting to know what is behind all this plot that is put together after the death of one of its characters that, in the end, due to the flashback that we are given of it, you end up getting fond of it and of course, you are saddened by his death. I also like the design of the characters, you can see the care in their proportions. But, the best thing is that there was an ending to the story, so you can see it complete without leaving loose ends, or wanting to see if they will continue adapting it or what else follows.

Estrenado para el año 2012, con un total de 24 episodios, donde la historia se divide en dos partes; dirigido por Masahiro Ando y bajo el estudio de Bones. Es de genero acción, drama, fantasía, misterio, psicológico y romance.
Yoshino Takigawa y Mahiro Fuwa son dos amigos de la infancia, con personalidades muy distintas de uno con otro y, de ellos dos, se centrará la historia, además de Fuwa Aika, hermana de Mahiro y novia secreta de Yoshino, quien fue asesinada y de Hakaze Kusaribe, una maga talentosa, líder del clan Kusaribe, quienes protegen el “Árbol del Génesis”, fuente de su magia.
Mahiro desaparece un día en busca del asesino de su hermana, luego de un tiempo, Yoshino da con su paradero y se encuentra con la sorpresa de que ha hecho un trato con una maga llamada Hakaze, quien esta exiliada en una isla y se comunica a través de un muñeco de madera, prometiéndole que, si la salva a ella y al mundo, ella lo ayudaría a resolver el caso de Aika.
A partir de aquí, empieza la relación de estos 3 en busca de respuestas sobre el Árbol del Éxodo, némesis del Árbol del Genesis y del misterioso asesinato de Aika, por lo que peligrosas aventuras es lo que les aguarda.
Esta historia esta ambientada en el mundo moderno, pero se rige bajo sus propias normas, su propia mitología, eso es lo primero que se deben entender de este anime, ya que, a partir de ello, los personajes giraran entorno a los hechos del comienzo del todo, del génesis de su mundo. Por lo que, hay que prestar mucha atención a los hechos que se presentan, no perderse de los detalles, porque si no, puede que no entiendas mucho de lo que va la trama, pero no es un punto negativo, más bien, lo vuelve dinámico e interesante.
Hay muchas referencias de las obras de Shakespeare, sobre todo Hamlet y La Tempestad, por lo que, si eres amante de estas obras, puede ser tu anime ideal; también dicen que entenderás mejor el anime si ya los has leído, no obstante, yo no lo he hecho, y lo entendí, claro, si me dieron ganas de hacer una lectura de las mismas, pero, no tuve el tiempo y lo dejé pasar. En fin, es un anime que te deja enganchado y si hablamos de la animación, pues para ser de ese año, lo veo muy bien y bastante atractiva.
La trama argumental es bastante buena, aunque existen muchos giros y cambios en la misma, de quien es el enemigo y quien es el aliado, de los que están detrás de todo este complot, pero, más que nada, por quien inicia y gira en torno a todo este enrollo: ¿Quién mato a Aika?, que solo se revelara al final, así que, si desean saberlo, tienen que verse la serie completa. En sí, todo esto la vuelve sumamente atrayente y que hace mucho recurso de la metáfora, por lo que puede que no sea fácil de entender en un principio o no sea para un publico en general, sin embargo, la enriquece en muchos sentidos.

La historia en general, ese misterio que la envuelve, te deja querer saber que hay detrás de todo ese complot que se arma tras la muerte de unos de sus personajes que, al final, debido a flashback que nos dan del mismo, le terminas agarrando cariño y por supuesto, te entristece su muerte. También el diseño de los personajes me gusta, se nota el cuidado en las proporciones de los mismos. Pero, lo mejor, es que, si hubo un final de la historia, así que se la pueden ver completa sin dejar cabos sueltos, o con ganas de ver si lo seguirán adaptando o que más sigue.

Si te gusta el misterio, unido con la fantasía y, sobre todo, te gusta Shakespeare, este es el anime que estabas buscando. Es de ese estilo de anime que u odias o amas, no hay matices grises en el mismo.
