  1. Blind - The important thing is to keep your heart's eye open@cute-cactus824d

The 2017 film Blind, which brings together two different characters who are in the phase of living their second spring and allows them to live a poetic life, brings the two main characters together after incredible coincidences. While these coincidences form the opening story of the movie, the expectation was that the drama would be at the top of the story, but this is not the case at all.

In the beginning, the coincidences and forced reunions give way to subtle jokes, poignant and poetic lyrics, sincere dialogues and romantic scenes. The moments when the law requires them to come together at certain times are replaced by voluntary and involuntary spontaneous events.

Alec Baldwin, who plays Bill Oakland, skillfully portrays a character who has lost his eyesight but has fully opened his heart's eye. The actor is so successful as the author that every scene he is in feels like reading a book. He shows marvelous examples of how when a person loses a limb, the other limbs develop further to compensate for the loss of the limb. Alec Baldwin gave a great performance, especially in the way he brought a blind writer to life.

Demi Moore, who plays Suzanne Dutchman, who does not get the positive response she expects from life and gets into trouble with the law, rediscovers herself, so to speak, on the new road map that she has been forced to start, and offers the reflections of the value she thinks she deserves. Those moments, which I will call the second spring, were worth seeing as the moments when the character that the actress gave life to underwent an incredible change.

The most enjoyable moments of the movie were the poetic flow of every conversation between Bill and Suzaanne. Especially the content and words of the books they quoted were really wonderful. Their magical touches on a human life struggling with problems affect people spiritually.

After a certain point, the movie progresses as the characters in the eloquence contest utter beautiful words one after the other. The scenes that take place in the mood of mutual sweet exchanges add to the value of the movie and reflect the romance at the highest level. It has multiple interactions that I believe the audience will love and leave a lasting impression on them.

Blind focuses on the lives of two characters in general, but this focus is on the lives of the characters after their lives evolve for other reasons. For Bill's character, it starts with losing his eyesight after an accident. For Suzaanne, it starts after her unfaithful behavior. I think the movie was great in terms of the presentation of both stories and the common bonds of the characters afterwards.

I really liked the script and the dialogues in it, and every sentence in the content of the books that are quoted is impressive and touches on a point that everyone can adapt in their own life story. It offers reflections with random examples of how those who think they are obliged to be in it can make changes in their lives.

If something has to happen, let it happen, as each event develops in its own way, it can offer new alternatives, but before doing so, it hides itself as much as possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Blind for everyone to watch. You will enjoy the film more if you watch it calmly and in silence, and if you stay in control of the dialogues. Thank you for being here and reading, and I wish a good time to those who will watch it.

  2. Blind: This pulsating thriller is a blinder of a Kdrama.@kenechukwu971222d

It's taking me a little bit of time to process everything that I saw in this show. 'Blind' fits in perfectly with the type of Kdrama that whets my appetite. You can only imagine the type of excitement I had watching each episode of this thrilling Kdrama. It was worth every minute.

As for the above poster, it took a lot of digging to finally get it from MyDramaList. What is easily obtainable on the internet is half of the picture displaying only 3 out of 4 characters. The full picture finally got released when the 11th episode of the show aired. When you get to see the show, you will fully understand the reason they had to keep the full poster out of the internet for so long. Hehe.

There is something about the storyline in this show that made it hard to contain my curiosity while watching it.

The writer dug viewers into a hole with the first few sequences of the show. This immediately followed a 20-year time skip and he theatrically told the story in a captivating way. I particularly love how he managed to unfold the identity of the mysterious serial killer(s) throughout the series.

They left snippets of murderous and criminal intent all over the place and on several characters. This made it very hard for viewers to outrightly pin a crime on anyone despite some visible tendency that points to the character as a possible culprit. I enjoyed this part of the show and didn't find it to be blown out of proportion because a vast majority of humans have their dark side. Only God knows what we are capable of doing when all hell breaks loose.

My fear while watching this Kdrama

    6RB3P_3f.jpg

I think I already made it obvious enough that I enjoyed this show to a tee. Nonetheless, while I got completely pumped by this show, a part of me desperately wished that the ending won't be a load of bullshit. Trust me, I've seen a lot of interesting crime shows that started well but ended in a way that was too dramatic or just too unrealistic.

This particular one started so well and they maintained the momentum to the point that I started wondering if the writer can manage to keep up the good work for the whole 16 episodes of the show. You know, he already did a good job of digging the mysteries about the crimes into a hole. Would he also do a good job of digging it out of the hole to unravel all mysteries?

I continued watching without knowing what to expect. Hehe. Thankfully, the writer did a really good job of laying everything bare in a very convincing way. Every character that held a knife close to another character's throat had a convincing reason for that.

Permit me to deduct just one point from this Kdrama

Before that, is it compulsory to have a corresponding female lead character whenever there is a male lead character?

    BX711_3f.jpg

This is an important thing I need to look into because the female lead role in this Kdrama was very insignificant to the whole story. The character looked as if it was forced into the story. There is nothing significant amount her role. Maybe it's because of the story, poor casting for the role or poor acting on the part of the female lead.

Of course, this show also had no element of romance in it so it won't be everyone's Cup of tea. Hehe. But this is the kinda cup of tea that whets my appetite. Lolz.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma All pictures are taken from MyDramaList.com
