Además de que la relación entre Brennan y Booth es algo peculiar ya que ella no tiende a relacionarse con las personas, su enfoque es él trabaja y nada más, es algo quisquillosa, egocéntrica y muy compulsiva con la limpieza y el orden, por lo que el tener una relación con un hombre que no sean sus compañeros de trabajo (que debo acortar que los trata como robots) no sabe cómo hacerlo, no es que no tiene empatía ni agrado, su personalidad se forjo así, pero tiene buenos sentimientos, es ahí cuando Booth la ayudara a ser más humana y a complementarse tanto en el trabajo como en lo personal ya que cada uno requiere del otro en diferentes enfoques y así cambiar su vida tanto en el trabajo como amorosa.
