[img](https://d.newsweek.com/en/full/908830/cargo-004.jpg)Hello movie friends I'm here again with another amazing movie for you to check out if you haven't really seen it.
Cargo is a 2017 drama and post apocalptic horror English film directed by Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke.
Featuring Martin Freeman (Andy) , Simone Landers(Thoomi) and Susie Porter (Kay).
Cargo is a movie based on the life of a father who was stranded in the rural part of Australia after a violent pandemic where almost everyone got infected with zombie blood. In his bid to find greener pastures i.e ( a better place for his family and food), his wife Kay gets bitten by a zombie in a wrecked yacht where she went to find food prolly for her baby.
Her husband Andy did everything he could to keep her alive and sane while they got to her hospital but things got out of hand and she couldn't control her changing nature anymore. While he tries to save her, she bits his arm, infecting him with the bad blood.
All he had left was his little girl Rosie whom he desperately sought for a means to get her to a new home and away from him because of his infectious changing nature. He tried his best to keep calm, protecting his little girl till she got to safety with the help of a girl named Thoomi (Simone Landers) whose father had also been infected.
It was a battle of survival through the pandemic and gladly Thoomi and Rosie got to safety while Andy had to die because of his infection. The ending was really emotional to me and I had a bead of tear drop on my cheeks.
One thing I love about this particular zombie film is that the moment a person is infected, he or she doesn't get all crazy immediately but can carry on for a little while unlike other zombie films I've seen where immediately a person is infected, he or she turns zombie and begins to misbehave.
This movie is rated 🔞. I better warn you now that viewers discretion is advised. It runs for 1h 45m. It's quite interesting even though it started in the middle of nowhere, you'll definitely get along as you watch on.
Till next time, bye for now peeps!
