  1. Code Geass Anime Review: A Dark, Smart, and Emotional Rollercoaster@papamogambo406d

Hello evey, today I have brought you an anime that you haven't seen yet, right? You are missing a lot. A lot!

Have you heard of perfection? This anime is that. And if you like Attack on Titan, this anime is for you.

If you like manipulation and psychological anime like Monster and Death Note, then this anime is for you.

And if you like watching anime with smart protagonists who take over everyone with their planning, then again, this anime is for you.

    1000048326.jpg Image Source

So our anime is Code Geass. And those who only watch hyped anime may not have heard of it — but trust me when I am saying this — that it is a G.O.A.T.ed anime, no doubt.

Like you have seen Attack on Titan. So you watch its basic plot and then watch Code Geass. You will know what I am talking about.

Legend protege, G.O.A.T.ed protege — plot twists that will blow your mind.

And no matter how many smart anime you watch, you still can't anticipate the plot of this anime.

You think it's going to happen, but then there's a plot twist that leaves you hanging.

And the reality check that this anime gives through fantasy is great.

Apart from that, there are some really emotional scenes in this anime.

    1000048327.jpg Image Source

Now I don't want to give you any spoilers, but for those who have watched this anime — brother, the scene with Yuffie — it took me a whole day to get over.

And it didn't take me more days because I finished watching this anime in two days.

I had so much fun with it.

And the second reason is — it's ending.

Now those who have seen this anime will know how sensible the ending of this anime is.

Yes, obviously you will be sad, but at the same time, you will be happy too.

Because you also know that in the end, this is the right thing.

And by that time you also become very curious as to how this series will end – because this series is taking such turns which were not expected at all.

And Lelouch, which is the name of our protege – so yup, you also wonder why Lelouch started this revolution and where is it going.

So, by that point, you also become very curious as to how this series will end.

And its ending was a bullseye, absolutely on point.

So yup, now let us move a little from its ending to its beginning.

And those who have not seen this anime, I am going to give a little overview of what is going to happen in it.

So basically Britannia has taken over one-third of the world, which makes it the strongest empire.

And here rises a rebellious man.

Our protege was the same - only he hid his identity because he declared war on Britannia along with the Japanese people - who were fed up with the discrimination in Britannia itself.

But our Lelouch was the prince of Britannia - who was kicked out of his house by his father, the king of the Britannia Empire, for some reason.

So Lelouch disguised his identity as Age Zero so that the Japanese people would not say that you are the prince of Britannia yourself - so what will you fight with us?

So, due to all these reasons, Lelouch Age Zero decides to destroy Britannia.

But how will a high schooler do this?

    1000048328.jpg Image Source

As I told you, Britannia is currently controlling one-third of the world.

So our Lelouch will do this with the help of two things:

First: his mind — with which he can do very dangerous planning.

And second, with the help of the power of Geass — which he gets for some reason.

With the help of the power of Geass, he can make anyone obey his orders — to an extreme extent.

With the help of the power of Geass, he can make you commit suicide or even murder.

And this is just a little base.

Later on, such plots come, which turn the story a lot.

Apart from this, brother, the quality that it provides in an episode — many anime are not able to provide that even in 150–200 episodes.

And I am not saying anything more or else you will get spoilers.

    But trust me on this.

    And try this anime brother.

I don't know which anime you are currently watching and which you are not - but you have to try this anime right now.

I usually don't say this about any anime, but this anime... all hail Lelouch.

  2. The new Code Geass - an anime that I abandoned after a few episodes.

    CG1.jpg

The first Code Geass series came out at a time when some of us were still beautiful and young. In 2006/2007 I was finishing high school and I remember my beginnings with Lelouch's story quite well. And I'm not the only one. For many people it was the first serious anime or one of the first. I remember how some fans compared it to Death Note, they were delighted with many plots, characters and more. I was initially delighted with it myself, but by the second season I was older and noticed the mistakes. I'm not talking about small things, because those can be ignored. The problem for me is the big mistakes. The closer to the finale, the more of them there were and the more irritating they were. I don't know how I would rate them now. The plot, characters and their relationships, from a perspective of time, seem overly simplified to me, and most of the plot twists would probably not impress me today. On the other hand, we have a fantastic and terrifying scene with Euphemia (and today, when I would like to earn money from writing / creating stories, I especially appreciate the creators' big balls for presenting it this way). Large robots are also a plus for this production. I don't know if they stand out from today's series, but I remember that during the CG broadcast and a few years after it, the series was praised for the idea of large robots. It's no wonder - just like in the case of characters, there is too much imitation, and some ideas are too controversial. Oh, this is one of the animes that I'm afraid to go back to, because the more I think about it, the more I remember. I remember the reasons why I like and dislike this title. I still like the openings in terms of music, but visually they are weak.

    CG2.jpg

The new anime is a continuation of the movie called Resurrection. I haven't seen it because it's a summary of compilation movies in which they made some changes (I don't remember what, but I remember my friend summarizing them for me and they didn't fix the things that bothered me). So you can also say that the new series is a continuation of the second season of the anime. The creators drew conclusions after the last (unsuccessful) spin-off and this time they did something that is more like the original. Even though the spin-off series came out when people were still hyped about the original, they didn't like it, which is why the studio had to save itself by showing characters we know. I abandoned it after two episodes because I was too bored without Lelouch.

    CG3.jpg

Returning to Rozé of the Recapture, the action takes place after the death of the 99th Holy Emperor of the Britannian Empire. The empire fell apart and the areas it occupied regained their independence. Although most of them joined the United Nations, not all of them succeeded. A faction known as Neo Britannia took over the island of Hokkaido, separating it from the rest of the country. The heroes of this series are siblings of wealthy noblemen from England who could not stand the cruelty of their nation and decided to help the rebellion. The resistance movement known as The Seven Shining Stars does not trust them at first, but everything changes after a certain point.

    CG4.webp

Why did I abandon them? For the exact same reason as Akito the Exiled. I lacked some idea that would catch my attention. Lelouch aka Zero had a cool voice actor + I knew the character. I knew what he was capable of and that he could breathe some life into this series. Maybe it would be the same with this anime, if it weren't for repeating the same plots as in season 1. True, everything happens faster, but it doesn't go hand in hand with the quality. I miss emotions, music, a certain mystery around the plot. And intriguing characters. It's true that the relationship between the two characters, or rather the heroine and the hero, gave me some hope, but I've seen this pattern so many times that I decided to give up. Because even if I like the development and ending of this relationship, it won't make the rest of the aspects interesting for me. The robot fights don't have a cool choreography, although individual sequences sometimes look good. The characters are copies of those we met in the first series. We even got someone resembling Char Aznable. I understand that, because it's Sunrise studio, and Char's design is iconic. Seriously, despite my best intentions, I can't find anything attractive in this anime for myself.

    CG6.avif

I won't rate this anime or the episodes, because I don't even remember which one I ended up on. I can't say I'm disappointed, because I had no expectations. A few days after the last episode aired, I read the comments in several places. I didn't find any praise in them that would seem encouraging to me or a reason to come back.

    CG1.jpg

Pierwsza seria Code Geass wychodziła w czasach, gdy część z nas ciągle była piękna i młoda. W 2006/2007 kończyłem liceum i dość dobrze pamiętam moje początki z historią Leloucha.

    CG2.jpg

Nowe anime to kontynuacja filmu pt. Resurrection.

    CG3.jpg

Wracając do Rozé of the Recapture, akcja dzieje się po śmierci 99 Cesarza Świętego Cesarstwa Brytyjskiego.

No i intrygujących bohaterów. Nawet dostaliśmy kogoś przypominającego Chara Aznable'a.

  3. Code Geass: The Zero hour for anime[ENG/SPA]@omokhafue601d

ENG Hello everyone, it's the last day of the week and my joy knows no bounds, knowing I won't have to be rushing out by 7am to go to class tomorrow. I have been thinking of writing a review about this anime for a long time now. I saw it around August this year and it's been sitting pretty somewhere in my head, waiting for me to talk about it.

8f3ccb6e90dc9fea25695b5525d37cc5.jpg Source Code Geass is an anime with a captivating blend of mecha action, political intrigue, and psychological drama. It spans two main seasons: "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" and "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2." In total, there are 50 episodes, and it also has several OVAs and spin-offs, but let's focus on the core story. Its first episode aired sometime in October,2007 and it was written by Ichirō Ōkouchi.

The plot centers around Lelouch Lamperouge, a former prince of the Holy Britannian Empire, who seeks revenge against the empire for the death of his mother and the suffering of his sister, Nunnally. One fateful day, he encounters a mysterious girl named C.C., who grants him the power of Geass, allowing him to command anyone to do his bidding just by making eye contact. With this newfound power, Lelouch adopts the name/ alter ego, "Zero" and leads a rebellion against Britannia, aiming to create a world where his sister can live in peace.

As Lelouch rises to power, he comes face to face with numerous challenges, including having to go against his best friend, Suzaku Kururugi, who is determined to uphold the law and fight against Zero's methods. Suzaku is unaware that Zero is Lelouch because of the mask he wears. The series is filled with twists and turns, including betrayals, unexpected alliances, and the moral dilemmas that come with wielding such immense power. One of the most shocking moments is when Lelouch's true identity is revealed, leading to a catastrophe in the relationship with his friends.

7b50e21d4aa53692bdf35d9e1d0cd64f.jpg Source The humor in Code Geass often comes from the absurdity of the situations Lelouch finds himself in, like when he tries to balance his life as a high school student with his responsibilities as a revolutionary leader. It didn't make any sense cause Lelouch was so smart. He should've known that definitely, there'd be instances he'd be forced to reveal himself or he'd be put in a really difficult position. Fun fact is,he did and he let it anyway!

I genuinely liked Lelouch. In a way he believes the world needs to be fixed, not saved. These two adjectives have entirely different meanings. I'd classify Lelouch as a Byronic hero.Had to check Google real quick cause it quickly came to my realization that Lelouch was in fact not an Anti hero. A Byronic hero is flawed and brood, with a tint of rebellion and passion. Lelouch's love for Nunnally and desire for justice drives him into acting against the Britannia empire. His past traumas including his mother's death and his father's rejection, he wanted retribution in a way. Although,it wasn't really said in the anime.

    af43f2f83511dcb0346a22232d43bb17.jpg Source Such a fine man😔❤️

Oh well. Code Geass is a very stunning anime. The animation, the characters and how they developed, the random flash backs in a creative and less interrupting way. This anime is up there in my chart of top animes and I'd definitely recommend it. Thanks for reading...

Abarca dos temporadas principales: "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" y "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2".

Realmente me gustó Lelouch.
