   Hello, hello, people of the internet, how are you? Today I'm going to talk about a movie that many of you have probably seen since it's very popular. It's Daddy's Daycare, a film that's not only funny but also has a certain depth worth recognizing. But without further ado, let's begin.

Hoy les hablaré de una película que probablemente muchos de ustedes vieron ya que es muy popular, se trata de La Guardería de Papá, un film que no solo es gracioso sino que tiene cierta profundidad digna de reconocer, pero sin más dilación comencemos.

   

   This movie is basically about a couple of men who suddenly find themselves without work and without options, until they realize that they can really work on their own taking care of children, so both of them start taking in the children of neighbors or the children of their former coworkers to take care of them, however all this began to bother the director of a prestigious and expensive daycare whose enrollment of children began to decline, so the perverse woman begins to devise and carry out several traps to make Charlie's (Eddie Murphy) daycare fail.

   Esta película básicamente trata sobre un par de hombres que de un momento a otro se quedan sin trabajo y sin opciones, hasta que se dan cuenta que realmente pueden trabajar por su cuenta cuidando niños, así que ambos empiezan a recibir a los hijos de vecinos o los hijos de sus ex compañeros de trabajo para cuidar de ellos, no obstante todo esto comenzó a molestar a la directora de una prestigiosa y cara guardería cuya matricula de niños comenzó a descender, así que la perversa mujer comienza a idear y llevar a cabo varias trampas para hacer que la guardería de Charlie (Eddie Murphy) fracase

   It's impossible not to laugh while watching this film because it's truly full of funny scenes. Eddie Murphy gives a special touch to his character, but he's not just funny, he's also very human. The film not only presents us with the various funny situations that can arise when caring for children, it also presents us with the dilemma of two men, three with the arrival of Marvin, trying to perform a job that has generally been associated with women. In addition, they were often belittled by one of their former coworkers who considered them to be doing a lesser job, ignoring all the commitment and dedication that caregivers in daycares have.

   Es imposible no reírse al ver esta película porque realmente está llena de escenas graciosas, Eddie Murphy le da un toque especial a su personaje, pero no solo es gracioso, es también muy humano. La película no solo nos presenta las diversas situaciones graciosas que se pueden presentar cuando se cuidan niños, también nos presenta el dilema de dos hombres, tres con la llegada de Marvin, al tratar de desempeñar una labor que por lo general ha sido asociada a las mujeres, además de que muchas veces fueron menospreciados por uno de sus ex compañeros de trabajo que consideraba que ello estaban haciendo un trabajo de menor importancia, soslayando todo el compromiso y entrega que tienen los cuidadores en las guarderías.

   One of my favorite scenes is when so-and-so gets too relaxed while the girls are doing his hair and makeup, so he falls asleep. Suddenly, the social worker arrives, and so-and-so opens the door without realizing that she's putting makeup on. Haha, it's really funny.

   Una de las cosas que más me gusta es que Charlie, Phillip y Marvin no se detienen ante las adversidades ni las críticas, al contrario, trabajan en desarrollar estrategias para mantener entretenidos a los niños, para que se diviertan y sean felices, esto es lo que los diferenciaba de la guardería de élite, que esta les permitía los niños explorar su propia creatividad.

   Another of my favorite scenes is when Charlie evaluates his son's drawing and tells him that it can be better appreciated if he squints, not only is it a funny and tender scene, but it gives more depth to the characters and is what makes this film different, it is one of the few that delves into the subject of parenthood, something not very common in cinema, at least for those times, we almost always see empowered mothers who play several roles and tasks, here we can see a father who fights against the mockery of his co-worker, with his own insecurities and fears, against the tricks of an envious director and yet continues to create strategies to be better every day. Indeed, at some point the daycare has to close and Eddie has to go back to work, which obviously makes his son depressed because they can no longer spend time together. In fact, the boy makes tremendous progress after his father opens the daycare, because he begins to socialize with other children and spend time with his father, which is why he is very happy when the daycare opens again.

   Otra de mis escenas favoritas es cuando Charlie evalúa el dibujo de su hijo y le dice que se aprecia mejor si entrecierra los ojos, no solo es una escena graciosa y tierna, sino que le da más profundidad a los personajes y es lo que hace que este film sea diferente, es de los pocos donde se profundiza en el tema de la paternidad, algo no muy común en el cine, por lo menos para esos tiempos, casi siempre vemos a las madres empoderadas que desempeñan varios roles y labores, aquí podemos ver a un padre que lucha contra las burlas de su compañero de trabajo, con sus propias inseguridades y miedos, contra las artimañas de una directora envidiosa y aún así sigue creando estrategias para ser mejor cada día. Efectivamente en algún punto la guardería tiene que cerrar y Eddie debe volver al trabajo, lo que obviamente hace que su hijo se deprima porque ya no podrán pasar tiempo juntos, de hecho el niño tiene una tremenda evolución a partir de que su padre abre la guardería, porque comienza a socializar con otros niños y a pasar tiempo con su papá, por eso se pone muy feliz cuando abren la guardería nuevamente.

   Hello friends, every week I feel very pleased and happy to participate in these contests where I have to write about cinema, but this week I particularly like it more because we are going to touch a topic that could be boring or extremely funny (it all depends on how you look at the situation) I am referring of course to work, I hope you like my entry 😄.

   Hola amigos, cada semana me siento muy complacida y alegre de participar en estos concursos donde tengo que escribir sobre cine, pero esta semana particularmente me gusta más porque vamos a tocar un tema que podría resultar aburrido o extremadamente divertido (todo dependerá del cristal con que se mire la situación) me refiero desde luego al trabajo, espero que les guste mi entrada. 😄

   

   For this occasion I decided to choose "Daddy Day Care" (La guardería de papá is its Spanish title) so that you understand what I am talking about, let me give you some context and then I will explain the reasons why I chose it.

   Para esta ocasión yo decidí elegir "Daddy Day Care" (La guardería de papá es su título en español) para que entiendan de qué les hablo déjenme darles un poco de contexto y luego les explicaré las razones por las cuales la elegí.

   Charlie and Phil, both parents, suddenly become unemployed when their ideas were rejected at work, obviously this led to a big problem as there were bills to pay, time passes and neither of them managed to get a job, however Charlie, spending time at home with his son Ben, discovered that there is something else he is good at and that as well as having fun he could also earn money, he and Phil were good at babysitting, but then problems arose when Gwyneth, the headmistress of a prestigious upmarket school, was furious that many of the children in her school were then in charge of the simple but very funny daily care of Phil, Charlie and Marvin (the third carer to be added to the payroll) so this woman made a thousand and one ruses to make them give up, but they remained strong and could not be defeated.

   Charlie y Phil, ambos padres de familia, de pronto se quedan desempleados cuando sus ideas fueron rechazadas en el trabajo, evidentemente esto derivó en un gran problema ya que había cuentas por pagar, pasa el tiempo y ninguno de los dos logró conseguir un empleo, sin embargo Charlie, al pasar tiempo en casa con su hijo Ben, descubrió que hay algo más en lo que es bueno y en lo que además de divertirse también podía ganar dinero, él y Phil eran buenos cuidando niños, haciendo que se divirtieran, pero luego surgieron los problemas cuando Gwyneth, la directora de una prestigiosa escuela de categoría, se enfureció al ver que muchos de los niños de su escuela luego estaban a cargo del simple pero divertidísimo cuidado diario de Phil, Charlie y Marvin (el tercer cuidador que se anexó a la nomina) así que esta mujer hizo mil y una artimaña para hacerlos desistir, pero ellos permanecieron fuertes y no pudieron derrotarlos.

   I particularly feel very identified with this film because something similar happened to me, that is, many times I felt undervalued in my previous jobs, no matter what I did, or how hard I tried, it was never enough, the truth is that the bosses encourage you with that "you can do better" or "you have to do your best" just to take credit for your effort, in the end, when you feel you are no longer useful, they just kick your ass and you're out of a job.

   Particularmente me siento muy identificada con esta película porque a mi me pasó algo parecido, es decir, muchas veces me sentí infravalorada en mis trabajos anteriores, no importaba lo que hiciera, o cuanto me esforzara, nunca era suficiente, la verdad es que los jefes te alientan con eso de que "lo puedes hacer mejor" o "tienes que dar lo mejor de ti" simplemente para quedarse con el crédito de tu esfuerzo, al final, cuando sientes que ya no les sirves, simplemente te patean el trasero y te quedas sin trabajo.

   Obviously this generates insecurity and uncertainty, you start looking for a job without success, (it happened to me in the middle of the pandemic quarantine) for a moment I despaired, until my sister told me about Hive and I discovered that there was a way to earn money doing what I like the most, writing, that made me feel full and motivated, I started to believe more in myself and in my abilities, it raised my self-esteem, it made me feel useful and full because I am happy doing what I do, what I always wanted, to earn a living creating and developing my own ideas. Although of course I have my own rules and discipline, I set my own schedule and so I work in a more organised way.

   Obviamente esto genera inseguridad e incertidumbre, comienzas a buscar empleo sin éxito, (me sucedió en plena cuarentena de pandemia) por un momento me desesperé, hasta que mi hermana me habló de Hive y descubrí que había una forma de ganar dinero haciendo lo que más me gusta, escribir, crear, ser yo misma 😄, eso me hizo sentir plena y motivada, comencé a creer más en mi misma y en mis capacidades, elevó mi autoestima, me hizo sentir útil y plena porque estoy feliz haciendo lo que hago, lo que siempre quise, ganarme la vida creando y desarrollando mis propias ideas. Aunque desde luego que yo tengo mis propias reglas y disciplina, establezco mis horarios y así trabajo de forma más organizada.

   So what I love the most about this film is the fact that Charlie Phil and Marvin discovered their abilities as a result of a difficult situation such as unemployment, and not only did they discover their abilities, but they were improving every day, learning new methods and techniques to entertain children, it is very funny to see this evolution, how they went from being a total disaster to an organised company. They realised that their methods at the beginning were not working, why? Well, mainly because you can't treat children like adults, they are just children, they get bored easily if you don't do something fun, but Charlie also discovered something else, the isolation of his son and the fact that he was not happy like the other children.

   Entonces lo que más amo de esta película es el hecho de que Charlie Phil y Marvin hayan descubierto sus capacidades a raíz de una situación difícil como lo es el desempleo, y no solo descubrieron sus habilidades, sino que fueron mejorando cada día, aprendiendo nuevos métodos y técnicas para entretener a los niños, es muy divertido ver esta evolución, como pasaron de ser un total desastre a una empresa organizada. Se dieron cuenta de que sus métodos al principio no estaban resultando ¿por qué? pues principalmente porque no puedes tratar a los niños como adultos, solo son niños, se aburren fácilmente si no haces algo divertido, pero además, Charlie descubrió algo más, el aislamiento de su hijo y el hecho de que no era feliz como los otros niños.

   Every beginning is difficult because of the lack of experience and knowledge, but to this we also have to add the prejudices like "I don't think men are good at babysitting" and we also have to add the meanness of the school principal who doesn't want Marvin, Charlie and Phil to have a day care, even so, these guys showed us that when you want something and you work hard, you can achieve anything you want, the sky is the limit, they dedicated themselves to jump over the barriers one by one, learning from their mistakes, but best of all, they didn't stop having fun in the process and Charlie had the opportunity to get to know his son a little better. I will always love that scene where Charlie makes elephant sounds to amuse Ben. 🤣 😂 Eddie Murphy's faces were absolutely hilarious.

   Todo comienzo es difícil por la falta de experiencia y conocimientos, pero a esto también se suman los prejuicios como "no creo que los hombres sean buenos para cuidar niños" y además tenemos que sumar la maldad de la directora de la escuela que no quiere que Marvin, Charlie y Phil tengan un cuidado diario, aún así, estos tipos nos demostraron que cuando quieres algo y trabajas duro, puedes lograr lo que quieras, el cielo es el límite, se dedicaron a saltar las barreras una a una, aprendiendo de los errores, pero lo mejor de todo es que no dejaron de divertirse en el proceso y además, Charlie tuvo la oportunidad de conocer un poco más a su hijo. Siempre amaré esa escena donde Charlie hace sonidos de elefante para divertir a Ben. 🤣 😂 las caras de Eddie Murphy fueron absolutamente graciosas.

   I like the way all the characters evolve, Marvin, Charlie and Phil learnt to know the children, that each one has a different personality, and they also learnt the different ways to entertain them, I liked their creativity in finding help to find a bigger place where they could admit more children. It wasn't their fault that the evil woman sabotaged the fair, they had initiative and did their best, of course, I couldn't help laughing with everything that happened, especially when Marvin tries to paint his face but the brush had no paint but glue 🤣 😂

   Me gusta la forma en que todos los personajes evolucionan, Marvin, Charlie y Phil aprendieron a conocer a los niños, que cada uno tiene una personalidad diferente, y también aprendieron las diversas maneras que existen para entretenerlos, me gustó su creatividad a la hora de buscar ayuda para encontrar un lugar más grande en el que pudieran admitir más niños. No fue su culpa que la malvada mujer saboteara la feria, ellos tuvieron iniciativa e hicieron su mejor esfuerzo, claro, no pude evitar reírme con todo lo que aconteció, sobre todo cuando Marvin intenta pintar su cara pero el pincel no tenía pintura sino pegamento 🤣 😂

   The biggest learning I got from this film is that you should never limit yourself with your dreams and you should never underestimate yourself, if you are not happy with your job, with the way your boss treats you, if you have a hostile environment at work (because of your boss, your colleagues or the environment) if you feel undervalued and you have your own projects and dreams, don't be afraid to spread your wings and fly, don't be afraid to spread your wings and fly, nobody says it will be easy, especially at the beginning, even many people will doubt you, maybe you will even question if you made the right decision, but gradually you will grow, you will learn to know yourself, you will gain confidence and above all you will feel fulfilled because you are pleasing yourself.

   El mayor aprendizaje que obtuve de este film es que nunca debes limitarte con tus sueños y tampoco debes subestimarte, si no estás conforme con tu trabajo, con la forma en que te trata tu jefe, si tienes un ambiente hostil en el trabajo (por causa de tu jefe, tus compañeros o el entorno) si te sientes infravalorado y además tienes tus propios proyectos y sueños, no sientas miedo de expandir tus alas y volar, nadie dice que será fácil, sobre todo al principio, incluso mucha gente dudará de ti, tal vez hasta llegues a cuestionarte si tomaste la decisión correcta, pero paulatinamente irás creciendo, aprenderás a conocerte a ti mismo, ganarás confianza y sobre todo te sentirás pleno porque te estás complaciendo a ti mismo.

   These last few days, due to a series of personal problems, it has been a bit difficult to find spaces to return to my usual rhythm of films seen and films reviewed. In the midst of so many worries, it is hard for me to find the courage to confront stories that present me with conflicts that seem accumulate with the ones I already live with on a daily basis.

   However, if I left things like that, I would be guilty of a limited mentality, closing myself to the possibilities that the format has to not only entertain me, but also present me with sweet stories that can change the perspective of everything that is linking in my life.

   Daddy Day Care is a 2003 film that within such simplicity knows how to radiate many good things, wrapped in a premise that connects us emotionally too easily.

   There is not much to say about it, Charlie and Phil (played by Eddie Murphy and Jeff Garlin) fail trying to get a job and as a consequence they decide to start a small daycare in Charlie's house taking advantage of their little knowledge in the world of fatherhood.

   Daddy Day Care is built on two remarkable aspects that make it a very pleasant experience, on the one hand we have a brilliant cast where comedy giants like Murphy Garlin coexist with other stars of the stature of Anjelica Houston or Steve Zahn, without even mention the great amount of chemistry they share with the children of the nursery (Although their acting skills often leave a little to be desired, as it would be logical considering their ages).

   The other noteworthy aspect of Daddy Day Care has to do with its thematic elements, which not only superficially but effectively dive into family financial crises and parenting relationships between father and son, but use them as leverage to tell us a light story. but who knows how to execute his points with ease.

   Although Daddy Day Care has the undeniable mandatory vibes of the early 2000s, it is surprising that it is so progressive, advocates for equality and strives to break the mold while staying organic.

   Of course, it is not the best film in the world, but it would not hurt to have more films of this kind in our day to day.

   Estos últimos días debido a una serie de problemas personales ha sido un poco complicado encontrar espacios para retomar mi ritmo usual de películas vistas y películas reseñadas, en medio de tantas preocupaciones me cuesta encontrar ánimos para ponerme frente a historias que me presentan con conflictos que parecen acumularse con los que ya vivo diariamente.

   No obstante, si dejara las cosas así pecaría de mentalidad limitada, cerrándome a las posibilidades que tiene el formato para no solo entretenerme, sino presentarme con historias dulces que pueden cambiar la perspectiva de todo lo que está vinculando en mi vida.

   Daddy Day Care es una película del 2003 que dentro de tanta simpleza sabe irradiar muchísimas cosas buenas, envueltas en una premisa que nos conecta emocionalmente con demasiada facilidad.

   No hay mucho que decir al respecto, Charlie y Phil (Interpretados por Eddie Murphy y Jeff Garlin) fracasan tratando de conseguir un empleo y como consecuencia deciden iniciar una pequeña guardería en la casa de Charlie aprovechando sus escasos conocimientos en el mundo de la paternidad.

   Daddy Day Care se construye sobre dos aspectos destacables que hacen de ella una experiencia bastante grata, por un lado tenemos un brillante cast en donde gigantes de la comedia como Murphy Garlin coexisten con otras estrellas de la talla de Anjelica Houston o Steve Zahn, sin siquiera mencionar la gran cantidad de química que comparten con los niños de la guardería (Aunque sus habilidades actores muchas veces dejen un poco que desear, como sería lógico considerando sus edades).

   El otro aspecto destacable de Daddy Day Care tiene que ver con sus elementos temáticos, que no solo se sumergen superficial pero efectivamente en las crisis económica familiares y las relaciones de crianza entre padre e hijo, sino que las usan como impulso para narrarnos una historia ligera pero que sabe ejecutar sus puntos con facilidad.

   Aunque Daddy Day Care cuenta con las mandatorias vibras innegables de los inicios del 2000, es sorprendente que sea tan progresiva, abogue por la igualdad y se esfuerce por romper esquemas manteniéndose orgánica.

   Por supuesto, no es la mejor película del mundo, pero no haría mal tener más filmes de este tipo en nuestro día a día.

   🎞 Фільм "Черговий тато" ("Daddy Day Care") - це американська комедія. У ролях: Едді Мерфі, Джефф Гарлін, Стів Зан, Анжеліка Г'юстон та інші.

   

   💬 Це дуже проста і легка комедійка, яка підійде для сімейного перегляду. За сюжетом, головний герой - татусь, вирішує зайняти свій вільний час... створенням дитячого садочка прямо у себе вдома. У нього є син, а також друг, який стане його колегою. Вони намагатимуться зробити садочок, в який хотітимуть ходити діти, але не одразу все буде гладко. А ще й конкуренти захочуть стерти новий садочок з лиця землі 😬
