   Para mí la comedia representa una de las facetas más importantes del cine porque nos permite relajarnos a través del entretenimiento simple y puro, sin embargo muchas veces buenas comedias están aderezadas con dramas que realmente resaltan toda la historia y que más que opacarla la transforman en algo aún mejor y eso precisamente paso con Delivery Man, una película que pudo tomar el camino fácil y convertirse en una comedia simple y tonta pero que en cambio fue llevada más alto gracias al buen manejo de un drama muy interesante de fondo.

La trama interesante de esta película comienza a desarrollarse cuando un hombre regular con cientos de deudas y problemas económicos se entera que es el padre de cientos de personas luego de haber sido un “donador” muy generoso de semen en su juventud. Como podrán deducir este no es u hombre nada serio, por el contrario la historia nos deja ver a un hombre irresponsable y que no estaba preparado para tan colosal noticia, un hombre que sin embargo decide enderezar su vida poco a poco y comenzar a conocer de forma anónima a cada uno de los hijos que procreo. Es realmente entretenido ver como a lo largo de la historia veremos como David se ira acercando a cada uno de sus más de 500 hijos para poco a poco conocerlos y finalmente crear algún tipo de lazo afectivo con ellos, lazos afectivo que ni él ni sus hijos pidió y que por supuesto ninguno esperaba. # [Source](https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/delivery-man-2013) # Esta no es la historia de un grupo de hijos que reclaman la paternidad de su padre, sino más bien la historia de un grupo de hijos que teniendo el mismo padre solo desean saber quién es, nada más, un grupo de hijos que sin esperar nada consiguen todo, consiguen que su padre salga del anonimato, que los reconozca y sobre todo que los quiera.

   En esta película la trama va a un ritmo algo lento, después de todo se desarrolla como un grupo de encuentros separados donde veremos a David convivir uno a uno con sus hijos, mientras que en el fondo también tendremos un conflicto legal que intensifica la historia y que al final se convertirá en el principal detonante para el final de la historia.

   Revisión personal.

   La risa no es algo tan sencillo de lograr, pero esta película lo logra de forma fantástica y espontánea, regularmente nos provoca risa con momentos inteligentes, entretenidos y amenos donde no solo las bromas tontas son protagonistas, aquí el protagonista es la historia de un hombre que se da recompuso y cambio su vida, un hombre que eligió el camino más difícil y que consiguió una gran familia. Me gustó mucho la forma como los creadores de este film eligieron desarrollar la historia porque gracias a eso pudimos atestiguar momentos realmente mágicos que nos conectaban inmediatamente con un hombre en la difícil tarea de conocer realmente a sus hijos sin decirles que era su padre, un hombre que aun sin conocer a sus hijos los apoyo desde el anonimato con pequeñas cosas que significaron mucho para ellos.

   Sin olvidar que esta película pese a ser básicamente una comedia tiene -SPOILER- uno de los momentos más emotivos que he visto últimamente cuando vemos a David convivir con uno de sus hijos, un joven parapléjico con el que solo pasaba el tiempo sentado a su lado hablando pero que gracias a ese momento logro mostrar mucha emotividad y sobretodo empatía.

Si, aquí no esperen ver explicaciones científicas sobre la inseminación de 533 niños, en esta película esperen ver risas, emoción y sobretodo un sentido de unidad que se crea alrededor de los personajes y que nunca se rompe. # En general es una película que no me canso de ver, no es la película más cómica ni la más emotiva pero es una gran combinación de las dos, nos divierte y nos hace reflexionar sobre la paternidad a través de una gran cantidad de escenas memorables y hermosamente construidas alrededor de una atmosfera padre hijo que se siente latente en cada compas de la trama. #

   For me comedy represents one of the most important facets of filmmaking, because it allows us to relax through simple and pure entertainment, however many times good comedies are seasoned with dramas that really highlight the whole story and that more than making it opaque transform it into something even better and that precisely happened with Delivery Man, a film that could take the easy way and become a simple and silly comedy but that instead was carried higher thanks to the good handling of a very interesting drama in the background.

The interesting plot of this film begins to develop when a regular man with hundreds of debts and economic problems finds out that he is the father of hundreds of people after having been a very generous "donor" of semen in his youth. As you can deduce, this is not a serious man, on the contrary, the story lets us see an irresponsible man who was not prepared for such colossal news, a man who decides to straighten his life little by little and begin to know anonymously each of the children he procreated. It is really entertaining to see how throughout the story we will see how David will approach each of his more than 500 children to gradually meet them and finally create some kind of emotional bond with them, emotional ties that neither he nor his children asked for and of course none expected.

   This is not the story of a group of children who claim the paternity of their father, but rather the story of a group of children who having the same father only want to know who he is, nothing more, a group of children who without expecting anything get everything, get their father to leave the anonymity, recognize them and above all love them.

   In this film the plot goes at a somewhat slow pace, after all it develops as a group of separate encounters where we will see David spend time one by one with his children, while in the background we also have a legal conflict that intensifies the story and eventually becomes the main trigger for the end of the story.

   Personal Review.

   Laughter is not something so simple to achieve, but this film achieves it in a fantastic and spontaneous way, it regularly provokes laughter with intelligent, entertaining and entertaining moments where not only silly jokes are the protagonists, here the protagonist is the story of a man who recomposed himself and changed his life, a man who chose the most difficult path and who got a great family. I really liked the way the creators of this film chose to develop the story because thanks to that we could witness truly magical moments that connected us immediately with a man in the difficult task of really knowing his children without telling them that he was their father, a man who even without knowing his children supported them from anonymity with small things that meant a lot to them.

   Without forgetting that this film despite being basically a comedy has -SPOILER- one of the most emotional moments I have seen lately when we see David with one of his children, a paraplegic young man with whom only spent time sitting next to him talking but thanks to that moment managed to show a lot of emotion and above all empathy.

   I love without a doubt the whole creative choice of the film, because it feels like a comic film but with a family atmosphere, a film that has no major changes in the plot but nevertheless keeps us hooked by the good work that the characters do, obviously it is impossible to capture 500 interactions between a father and a son, but nevertheless this film takes the time to give us extracts of the best moments, something that makes it light and highly intelligent. Yes, here do not expect to see scientific explanations about the insemination of 533 children, in this film expect to see laughter, emotion and above all a sense of unity that is created around the characters and never breaks.
