I love Korean drama a lot but that doesn't mean I don't know when I see one that just wasn't it for me, I didn't think I'll be reviewing a kdrama and emphasize on how much I didn't enjoy it as much I do with other series I've seen. I got the recommendation to see this particular kdrama from a random person I saw seeing it, she went like "It is so interesting, you should see it!" all I could think at that moment was "I must see this drama".

Two main reasons I decided to see the drama aside the recommendation

I'm a huge fan of the lead characters I saw in the drama as I've seen two to three other dramas they've starred in. I was so sure this drama was going to be a hit since it had the both of them in it. It's an honour to have two big stars in one drama so I thought I was definitely going to have fun seeing this movie.

Another reason was the vibe I got from "Shopping King" and "Oh my ghost" kdramas I've seen before I saw this one. The two lead characters starred in them separately but did awesomely well with their roles, I knew I was in for a full package fun in this movie since they were both going to come in with their vibes joined together.

But I was wrong! So wrong but...

Here is my thought after seeing the drama

First of all, the title of the drama is catchy and the story line wasn't so much into what the drama is like so I didn't exactly get the point until I was way into a few episodes (I think it was at episode three). The drama was released in June 2021 and is supposed to be have the genres of Fantasy and romance even though I honestly didn't get it as much of the genres as I had expected it to be.

It started off well, well enough to get me up to episode three to understand what exactly was going on with the amazing characters they were introducing to me. But it took a boring turn for me, or maybe I just wasn't getting what I was expecting as early as I wanted.

A young girl is diagnosed to have a cancer that would take her life in 100days and there's a human/deity who brings doom (death) to people and the two meets in an awkward situation but not the main meet up between a deity and a human. Out of sorrow and feeling of life being unfair to her, the young lady screams out a wish in the middle of the night while she was drinking "She wished for doom to come to the world" and that was it.

The two characters meets again but this time around leaving the young lady in awe of all that was playing around her as it was hard to understand why a human and a handsome one at that was death himself. The whole drama was just about Doom trying to make her wish in a more stable state which later turns into love and then separation then found love again... Boring!!!

But if I'm to give rating to each main characters of the drama...

Myul Mang (Starred by Seo In-guk) is Doom who has a superior (A tiny girl who he meets at a hospital in most of the episodes) the two deity happen to be helping the world but to me, I feel they were just jobless humans who became mysterious and decided to do something with their mystery lol. Well, Myul Mang did an awesome job with his role.

His fashion in the drama is a killer (I noticed every wear he had on through the drama) but I wasn't satisfied with his way of showing his emotions to the female lead character. From my experience seeing his other dramas, he just wasn't the type to act cruel or evil which he tried to do in this particular drama... Not so bad, I'd say!

Tak Dong Kyung (starred by Park Bo-young is one of my favorite female Korean actress and that is because I've seen a lot of her dramas where she slayed so well in her roles but I honestly can't say same for this drama as I think she could have done even better than she did. But one thing I'd love to note was how calmly she took the news of her upcoming early death, not everyone would be calm to hear they are about to die.

Well, her calmness only led her to face death himself and it turned to be a guy she will fall in love with, bear her pain with but lose in the end... It wasn't a sad ending though, you'd have to see the drama to find out yourself lol.

How more boring would it have been without these two supporting characters?

I say it always and I'll still add it here again, supporting characters are my highlights in kdramas. They sure do know how to shine brighter than the main characters, maybe I should give the kudos to the directors of the dramas... They definitely did another great job on this drama with the supporting characters they added.

The two had a weird past during school days, one (the guy) is so intelligent and makes writers go popular while the other (the lady) is a writer struggling with her first love whose memory is what she uses to write all her stories. How they came to find out their true feelings for each other is beautiful and memorable for me unlike the main characters... Too bad right?

My heartbreaking overview of the drama

I wish I could hide my truth about the drama but I really can't, if I'm to rate this drama among the other series I've seen, it will go nowhere near the least drama for me to recommend.

Yes, I expected so much more than what they gave in the drama

You won't blame me, they made me love their strong vibes in the other series I've seen so I just found myself expecting to have a total vibe from this. So here I am feeling like I almost wasted my time seeing the drama (yes, I still had to see it to the end lol).

Another heartbreaking truth I noticed, the main characters didn't have a very good chemistry. It was kinda obvious to me that the female lead was the one in charge of making the love scenes of the drama more lovely and memorable (which wasn't close to the best I've seen in movies).

In conclusion, I'll rate the drama 7/10 and that is for the characters, the supporting characters and some little lessons I learnt from seeing it. You can choose to see it as well to find out about all that, not strongly recommended though hehe.

Me encanta mucho el drama coreano, pero eso no significa que no sepa cuándo veo uno que simplemente no era para mí, no pensé que revisaría un kdrama y enfatizaría cuánto lo hice. No lo disfruto tanto como lo hago con otras series que he visto. Dos razones principales por las que decidí ver el drama aparte de la recomendación

Soy un gran admirador de los personajes principales que vi en el drama, ya que he visto otros dos o tres dramas en los que han protagonizado. En primer lugar, el título del drama es pegadizo y la línea de la historia no se refería tanto a cómo es el drama, así que no entendí exactamente el punto hasta que llegué a algunos episodios (Creo que fue en episodio tres). El drama se estrenó en junio de 2021 y se supone que tiene los géneros de Fantasía y romance aunque, sinceramente, no entendí tantos géneros como esperaba.

Empezó bien, lo suficientemente bien como para llevarme al episodio tres y entender qué estaba pasando exactamente con los increíbles personajes que me estaban presentando. Pero tomó un giro aburrido para mí, o tal vez simplemente no estaba obteniendo lo que esperaba tan pronto como quería.

A una joven se le diagnostica un cáncer que le quitaría la vida en 100 días y hay un ser humano/deidad que trae la perdición (muerte) a las personas y los dos se encuentran en una situación incómoda, pero no es el encuentro principal entre una deidad y un ser humano. . Debido al dolor y al sentimiento de que la vida es injusta con ella, la joven grita un deseo en medio de la noche mientras bebe "Ella deseaba que la perdición viniera al mundo" y eso fue todo.

Los dos personajes se reencuentran, pero esta vez dejando a la joven asombrada por todo lo que estaba jugando a su alrededor, ya que era difícil entender por qué un ser humano y guapo era la muerte misma. Todo el drama era sobre Doom tratando de hacer que su deseo se encontrara en un estado más estable que luego se convierte en amor y luego en separación y luego en encontrar el amor nuevamente... Bueno, Myul Mang hizo un trabajo increíble con su papel.

Su moda en el drama es asesina (Noté cada desgaste que tenía durante el drama) pero no estaba satisfecho con su forma de mostrar sus emociones al personaje principal femenino. Tak Dong Kyung (protagonizada por Park Bo-young es una de mis actrices coreanas favoritas y eso se debe a que he visto muchos de sus dramas en los que se desempeñaba tan bien en sus papeles, pero honestamente No puedo decir lo mismo de este drama, ya que creo que podría haberlo hecho incluso mejor de lo que lo hizo. Pero una cosa que me encantaría notar fue la calma con la que tomó la noticia de su próxima muerte prematura, no todos estarían tranquilos de escuchar están a punto de morir.

Bueno, su calma solo la llevó a enfrentarse a la muerte y resultó ser un chico del que se enamorará, soportará su dolor pero perderá al final... Sin embargo, no fue un final triste, tendrías ver el drama para descubrirte a ti mismo jajaja.

Lo digo siempre y aún lo agregaré aquí nuevamente, los personajes secundarios son mis aspectos más destacados en kdramas. Seguro que saben cómo brillar más que los personajes principales, tal vez debería felicitar a los directores de los dramas... Definitivamente hicieron otro gran trabajo en este drama con los personajes secundarios que agregaron.

Los dos tuvieron un pasado extraño durante la época escolar, uno (el chico) es muy inteligente y hace que los escritores se vuelvan populares, mientras que el otro (la dama) es una escritora que lucha con su primer amor, cuyo recuerdo es lo que usa para escribir. todas sus historias. Otra verdad desgarradora que noté, los personajes principales no tenían muy buena química. For some weeks now, I've been busy searching for Korean dramas to see because they are mostly the kind that could get my attention for hours. Like every other time, I got a recommendation from someone to see this particular series. I had heard of it before she told me about it so I thought it would be a loss if I didn't see it after the good reviews I got about it.

And that led me to see this drama and I have just concluded the last episode, my subconscious mind took me here to write about it because I've got a few things to say about my experience while seeing the drama.

Are you a sucker for life and death talks that obviously aren't real but thrilling? This drama series is one of them and it did it in excess so you'll love it so much (well, not me haha). The title isn't a tricky bait, it was just as expected... All about a guy called Doom (bringing death to you doorstep when it's time).

A personal view of the drama...

"Doom at your service" had me on a roller coaster about the life of a girl coming to an end in 100 days after being diagnosed with a brain cancer. She was destined to die and a wish she made to destroy the world brought a deity to her doorstep (Doom). She is bound to go into a contract with him to make her wish happen but in the process, Doom and her wished for more... They fell in love.

You know that thing about a deity falling in love with a human?

You're left to wonder until the end if they will possibly end up together regardless of their mortal differences. And it didn't end there, the human girl is deadly sick and he was to make her death less painful lol. The whole scenes after he proved to her that he was death himself, left me wondering if it'd be cool to be aware of your death time.

The movie taught more on valuing time, family, avoiding mistakes and regrets no matter what as one may never know when he or she would die. How the human girl acted from when she heard the news of her illness till when she got free from the illness, was a lesson to learn from. Although, everything was supernatural... It wouldn't be explainable in reality.

I also like the fashion setting in the drama especially of the Doom guy, he is always black (trying to represent what he is) and I like the whole process when he realize that he was in love with the interesting human girl he came across. Korean drama series are my favourite when it comes to rom-com genres.

So is the series worth your time?

Yes, if you're a lover of kdrama series and the genre of sci-fi and mystery. I spent three days seeing this movie among other activities, I can say it was definitely worth the time I gave to it because I got to learn a lot about how crazy sci-fi and mystery can get one to be.

Almost all the beliefs in the movie aren't true but I love the fact that they make it seem like everything is true.

You should see the drama if you haven't, you'll have more to say I bet haha. For me, I'll rate it a 7/10 and that is for the roller coaster they had me on until the last episode for no just reason or am I being unfair here? Lol.

Fuente El drama fue emitido este año y lleva por nombre ''Doom at your service" o en español Doom a tu servicios. Los protagonista son Park Bo Young y Seo In Guk, el drama cuenta una historia de fantasía y romance donde Park Bo Young interpreta a Tak Dong-kyung y Seo In Guk interpreta a Kim-Saram.

Fuente La historia comienza con la protagonista yendo al hospital porque no se ha sentido bien. Resulta que le hacen una resonancia magnética y encuentran que tiene un gran tumor en la cabeza y que sólo le quedan tres meses de vida.

Aquí es cuando aparece la parte de fantasía y sale Kim-Saram en su casa fingiendo que bebe algo cuando el no puede comer, ni beber, es casi como si no tuviera sentimientos.

Y es así porque nuestro protagonista no es humano, es un ser que puede leer la mente de las personas, aliviar dolores, hasta cambiar de aspecto y hacerse notar en las personas como un ser diferente físicamente para cada una, puede hacerte ver otros escenarios como pasar de un lugar a otro en menos de un segundo.

Fuente Cuando la protagonista pide este deseo el la escucha y no pasa mucho tiempo hasta que aparece en la puerta de su casa. Ella se asusta mucho y el se presenta y le dice que si quiere que le conceda el deseo.

De allí en adelante el no para de seguirla a todos lados hasta que ella pida su último deseo. Ambos son una pareja muy linda y tienen química, algo que me gustó mucho fue la playlist musical del drama sobre todo la canción principal Breaking Down de Ailee, también para las fanáticas del kpop aparece una canción de Baekhyun muy linda llamada U (you).

Es una drama muy lindo y lo bueno es que tiene un buen final para mi punto de vista. Si te gustan los dramas coreanos no te lo puedes perder.
