"Dynamite Kiss” Review - A Kiss That Started Everything@merit.ahama106d

When I thought I've seen way too many similar storylines with kdrama but still enjoyed them anyways, the 2025 "Dynamite Kiss" hits me with a unique and very interesting storyline that kept me hooked from start to finish. Although, there were still many similar scenes but the story they connected the scenes to, was refreshing to see.

"Imagine after a beautiful spark of butterflies in the bellies, both are faced with a lie that can not to untold until further notice..." I thought it was going to be chaotic in accepting this crazy fact but I'll say the story was less chaotic than expected which was okay and fun to watch and the truth that came out in the least expected way.

"Dynamite Kiss" is a 14 episode long Korean drama series released in November, 2025. The series has a powerful cast starring Jang Ki-yong, Ahn Eun-jin, Kim Mu-Jun and Woo Da-Vi as the main characters. I've seen other good series they starred in separately where they did really good, so I think this series was well powerfully casted.

The story is about a jobless lady, after an unforgettable trip at Jeju where she met a guy who transformed her looks like a charming prince to a Cinderella, applies for a job that only required her being a mother of a 6 year old child. She gets her male bestie into agreeing since he was a single dad and she starts working only to find out that her team leader is the prince charming she had spent time with, who had fallen for her and have been searching for her since he returned from Jeju. A love-hate relationship then began.

I got really excited with the story from the first kiss in the first episode, the kiss they refered to as "Dynamite Kiss" and I think the whole scene explains perfectly what a dynamite kiss is, one of those perfect kdrama title if you ask me. How he fell so hard for her because of the kiss then searching for her only to find her in his workplace as one of the mums employed for his new team.

I felt pity for the girl who had to keep lying but suffering for the lies, having no peace because the guy just could accept the fact that he fell for a married woman. It was a crazy after trip reunion and I loved the back and forth clashes they had until they couldn't hide their feelings anymore even while the lie was still going on.

The second lead couple, the single dad who simply lives for his son and a chaebol princess who is attracted to men who actually enjoys what they do, both brought a really different kind of love story to the series and I like the fact that her mother changed her mind when she went to tell him off from her daughter, a very cute side story.

Over all, I enjoyed the story and I'll highly recommend it for romance lovers. There are also interesting facts about baby products, family relationships and scams shared in the story which brought about relatable scenes. I could compare this series to a lot of kdrama series I've seen and only pick this one out of them, yes, it is that good. I'll give the series a rating of 10/10.

Para Go Da-rim es difícil porque no es mamá ni tiene esposo, pero para ayudar a su mamá y salir del problema que tiene con deudas y prestamos que tuvo que pedir, con el apoyo de su mejor amigo quien es divorciado y tiene un hijo, decide mentir y entrar como la esposa de él, sin saber que en esa empresa se volvería a encontrar a Ji-hyuk, lo cual hace complicado la situación sobre todo porque no es capaz de decirle la verdad, pero para ella es más importante salir de todos sus problemas, sin darse cuenta que ese hombre haría todo por ella.

What's happening with K-dramas? They're going all out, and a lot of people are discovering these series. Plus, the new series are a huge hit, like Dynamite Kiss.

For those of us who know K-dramas, we usually have to wait until the last episode for something good, or even a kiss. However, this series went all out, giving us a kiss in the very first episode. With a title like that, it was to be expected, at least that's how I imagined it.

¿Qué está pasando con los K-dramas? Están dándolo todo y mucha gente está descubriendo estas series, además las nuevas series están siendo bombas, como es el caso de este Dynamite Kiss.

Para los conocedores de K-dramas sabemos que para esperarnos a lo bueno o hasta incluso por un beso, tendríamos que esperar hasta el último episodio, sin embargo, esta serie lo apostó todo dándonos un beso desde el primer episodio, pues era de esperarse con ese título, al menos así lo imaginé yo.

And I'm telling you, if you're looking for something entertaining, a lighthearted romance with humor, this K-drama will be quite good for you. Something to keep in mind is that K-dramas of this genre are all clichés; the idea is to experience the illusion of being in love.

A lot of blah blah blah from me and not much explanation of what the K-drama is about, but here's the synopsis.

It's about a single woman, Go Da-rim, who, after going through various situations and some job rejections, is driven by necessity to pretend to be a mother and married in order to get a job at a baby products company.

Y les digo que si son personas que buscan algo entretenido, un romance ligero y con humor, este k-drama les caerá bastante bien, algo que debemos tener en cuenta es que los k-dramas de este genero son todos clichés, la idea es vivir la ilusión de estar enamoradas.

Mucho blah blah blah de mi parte y poca explicación de que trata el k-drama pero aquí les dejo la sinopsis.

Va de una mujer soltera, Go Da-rim, ella después de haber pasado por varias situaciones y también algunos rechazos laborales, es empujada por la necesidad a pretender ser mamá y casada para conseguir un trabajo en una empresa de productos para bebés.

Their worlds change when they meet at this company, and they discover they have to work together. Imagine all the tension in that scene! From here on out, everything becomes incredibly funny and full of misunderstandings, especially since she has to maintain the lie to keep her job.

Hasta ahí todo bien, pero lo interesante es que ella se encuentra en esta empresa con Gong Ji‑hyeok, quien sería su líder de equipo, con el cual días atrás se conocieron y durante ese tiempo tuvieron unos encuentros muy emocionantes, asumiendo que ambos son solteros…

El mundo de ambos cambian cuando se encuentran en esta empresa, y descubren que ambos deben trabajar juntos. Imaginen toda la tensión que hubo en esta escena, a partir de aquí todo se vuelve súper divertido y con muchos malentendidos, especialmente porque ella debe mantener la mentira para conservar el trabajo.

It's still airing; there are only six episodes so far. I can't wait to continue the story, but it's definitely on my list of recommendations because it fits my taste for light, cliché romance, lol. And I also love K-dramas.

Aún está en emisión, hasta ahora solo van 6 capítulos, yo no puedo esperar para continuar la historia pero realmente entra en mis recomendaciones porque se adapta a mis gustos de romance cliché ligero, lol. Y también amo los k-dramas.
