   Reviewing my movie apps, to see one that caught my attention from the first minute, I came across Echo Valley. I am one of those people who like movies a lot, but I have some tips that I apply when I start watching a movie, example: if I don't have any reference of the movie, the first thing I see is who are its main protagonists, if any of them is known to me and I love their performance, I stay watching it; if it has a striking title and intrigues me, I stay and if its cover image makes me click, I also stay, this one had all these tips.

   The first thing I saw, was that it starred the actress Julianne Moore, which gives me indications that the movie is going to be good, at least interesting, because this actress has played some very good roles in all the movies she has participated, is my personal opinion and this was no exception; on the other hand, its title Echo Valley, indicated to me mystery, maybe suspense and they are one of the characteristics that I love in a movie and finally the cover image, more or less gave me a taste of what to expect, so I stayed watching it and from the first minute I connected with it. ..

   The film tells you about what a mother can be capable of for a daughter, about the love that can be professed for that daughter, even if that daughter doesn't deserve it, as we're going to see as the film progresses. Up to that point, we think that this is another film, which shows us the love of a mother for a daughter and we may think that it is one more that goes along that line ..., but it is not quite so, that is the beginning of the plot, drama, mystery and intrigue, where we see present apart from filial love, betrayal, violence, even a murder, where our protagonist will be immersed in a sea of confusion from which she must get out by her own means.

   But at the same time, it will force her to prove how far she can go to save and recover herself. The ending left me with my mouth open, as it unravels everything that really happened between scenes. So much so, that you can't believe the twist and turn the plot takes, placing the bad guys where they belong and leaving you wondering how she could have come up with all that, and leaving you wondering how bad vices can make people, how evil and cold they can be no matter who they hurt along the way, even their own mother.

   In the end, the lesson I got from this movie is that children should learn to set limits from the beginning, because later it is difficult to contain those monsters that we create, wanting to remove from their path every stone that comes their way, making everything easier for them without the slightest effort on their part. So if you want to be surprised, I recommend you watch this one. Greetings, friends!

   Revisando mis aplicaciones de películas, para ver alguna que llamara mi atención desde el primer minuto, me topé con Valles del Eco. Soy de las personas que le gustan mucho las películas, pero tengo unos tips que aplico al empezar a ver una película, ejemplo: si no tengo alguna referencia de la película, lo primero que veo es quienes son sus protagonistas principales, si alguno de ellos es conocido por mí y me encanta su actuación, me quedo viéndola; si tiene un título llamativo y me intriga, me quedo y si su imagen de portada me hace clic, también me quedo, esta tuvo todos estos tips.

   Lo primero que vi, era que era protagonizada por la actriz Julianne Moore, que me da indicios de que la película va a ser buena, por lo menos interesante, pues esta actriz ha protagonizado unos papeles muy buenos en todas las películas que ha participado, es mi opinión personal y esta no fue la excepción; por otra parte, su título Valle del Eco, me indico misterio, tal vez suspenso y son una de las características que me encantan en una película y finalmente la imagen de portada, más o menos me dio un abreboca de lo que podía esperar, así que me quede viéndola y desde el primer minuto conecte con ella...

   La película te habla de lo que puede ser capaz una madre por una hija, por el amor que puede profesarse por esa hija, aunque esa hija no se lo merezca, cómo vamos a ir viendo a medida que la película vaya avanzando. Hasta allí, pensamos que se trata de otra película, que nos indica el amor de madre por una hija y podemos pensar que es una más que se va por esa línea..., pero no es así del todo, ese es el comienzo de la trama, del drama, del misterio y de la intriga, donde se ve presente aparte del amor filial, la traición, la violencia, incluso un asesinato, donde nuestra protagonista se va a ver inmersa en un mar de confusión del cual debe salir por sus propios medios.

   Pero que a la vez, la va a orillar a probarse hasta donde puede ella llegar para salvarse y recuperarse ella misma. El final me dejó con la boca abierta, pues se va desenmarañando todo lo que realmente pasó entre escena y escena. Tanto así, que no puedes creer el vuelco y el revés que da la trama, ubicando a los malos donde deben estar y te deja preguntándote ¿cómo se le pudo ocurrir todo aquello?, y te deja pensando todo lo malo que llevan los vicios a las personas, los malvados y fríos que pueden llegar a ser sin importarles a quienes dañen en el camino, así sea a su propia madre.

   Al final, la enseñanza que obtuve de esta película, es que a los hijos se les debe aprender a poner límites desde un inicio, porque luego es difícil de contener a esos monstruos que creamos, al querer quitarles de su camino toda piedra que se le atraviese, facilitándole todo sin el menor esfuerzo de parte de ellos. Así es que si quieres llevarte una sorpresa, te recomiendo ver esta. ¡Saludos, amigos!

   Today I browsed Apple TV and there was a movie that caught my attention because of its protagonists: Julianne Moore, an actress I've seen in several films, and Sydney Sweeney. I'm not very convinced by the latter, but I like watching her work to see how she handles different roles.

   Echo Valley is a story that begins with considerable drama and ends in a criminal conflict.

   Here we have Kate, a mother dealing with the recent death of her wife. They both took care of a farm, and now, because of her death, Kate has been having a hard time and has neglected many things. Adding to this story is Claire, Kate's daughter. She is also having problems, as she is a drug addict who has been in rehab but dropped out.

   As I said before, the story begins quite dramatically. At the beginning, we see all these family problems and how difficult it is to deal with a daughter who has problems, needs help, and refuses to be helped. But the story doesn't stop there; it evolves from the moment Claire shows up one day at her mother's ranch, covered in blood, pleading for help.

   Echo Valley es una historia que empieza como con bastante drama y termina en un conflicto criminal.

   Aquí tendremos a Kate que es una madre que está lidiando con la reciente muerte de su esposa, ambas mantenían el cuidado de una granja y ahora por su muerte Kate la ha estado pasando bastante mal y ha descuidado muchas cosas. A esta historia le vamos a sumar a Claire, la hija de Kate, ella también está teniendo problemas, pues es una chica adicta a las drogas que ha estado en rehabilitación pero se salió.

   Como dije antes, la historia empieza de forma bien dramática, vemos al inicio todos estos problemas familiares y lo difícil que es lidiar con una hija que tiene problemas, necesita ayuda y no se deja ayudar. Pero la historia no se queda, pues evoluciona desde el momento en que Claire aparece un día en el rancho de su madre cubierta en sangre y pidiendo ayuda.

   I didn't have faith in the film, and in the end, there was a plot twist that I found interesting to watch. However, I think everything felt unfinished or strange... In my opinion, they start with a theme that is this family drama, and then halfway through the film, they switch to another genre, for example, a thriller or a crime thriller, and then the initial story of the family drama is lost. There's something strange that doesn't quite fit there, however, that doesn't make it any less entertaining.

   Here we find an atmosphere of conflict, both on the part of the mother due to her problems and the depression she finds herself in due to the death of her wife, as well as the problems of her daughter, not only due to her addiction but also because she is emotionally unstable and manipulative. There is truly a quite toxic mother-daughter relationship. Many themes are touched upon here, such as denial of others, resentment, manipulation, control, and pain. This is a true cocktail of emotions, and the plot twist midway through the film takes us out of these feelings a bit, and then at the end, it leaves us a little confused because it's not a closed ending, but it certainly you understand what's happening. I didn't like the ending, to be honest. After everything I saw, I feel like it deserved a different ending, but for me, it was entertaining.

   No le tenía fe a la película y al final ha dado un giro en la trama que me ha parecido interesante de ver. Sin embargo, opino que todo quedó como inconcluso o extraño… En mi opinión, empiezan con un tema que es este drama familiar y después a mitad de la película cambian a otro género, por ejemplo al thriller o al crimen, y luego se pierde la historia inicial del drama familiar, hay como algo raro que no termina de encajar bien ahí, sin embargo, eso no le quita lo entretenido.

   Aquí encontraremos un ambiente de conflicto tanto de parte de madre por sus problemas y la depresión en la que se encuentra por la muerte de su esposa, así como también los problemas de su hija no solo por la adicción sino porque también es emocionalmente inestable y manipuladora, realmente hay una relación madre-hija bastante tóxica. Realmente se tocan muchos temas aquí como la negación de las personas, el resentimiento, la manipulación, el control, el dolor. Esto es un verdadero cóctel de emociones y el cambio que da la trama a media película nos saca un poco de estos sentimientos y luego al final nos deja como un poco confundidos porque no es un final cerrado pero ciertamente se sobre entiende lo que sucede. El final no me ha gustado para ser sincera, después de todo lo que vi, siento que merecía otro final, pero a mi gusto estuvo entretenida.
