I like this show, is a light hearted fun series with a bit of Ecchi. The whole series has been compared to the other popular siscon called Oreimo ('Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai') which of course has been a doujin culture on drawing hentai versions of such series.
Nevertheless the series is cute in the sense of having a super delicate 'little sister' character who can't even speak loud enough so she always holding a gaming headphone with mic so her voice gets amplified. What is more important is that she really uses manga animator tools such as a digital wacon tablet to draw.
Another thing is focus on the relationship between the artist and the writer, the drawings and the plot. And the final goal is the animator which will be when they reach their goal of making an anime.
Anyway this episode 09 seemed a bit like a fan service filler episode, many anime series have this. And most of the series have the same plot. The friend of the main character (mostly the side chick, not really the main girl), turns out to be the daughter of a super rich family that owns a resort or an island somewhere in the south east part of Japan making it a paradise beach and all the characters strip to bikinis and such.
This was no different on this episode, and we saw how she tried to seduce him, while at the same time having to endure Marumasa pleads to get to read his stories. Marumasa went from being an fierce opponent to becoming a docile fangirl. Which kind of turn me off about the story. I think her presence got diminished while Yamada Elf (the side chick) has been showcased even more than Sagiri (the little sister).
Anyway the bomb drop when Yamada Elf older brother tell the main character Izumi to marry her little sister (Elf). And thats where the whole point of the episode evolve.
The series although predictable is full of fun sexy jokes here and there, and if you like this style you would have been used to this by now.
