Get on the Bus is a 1996 American drama road film about a group of African-American men who are taking a cross-country bus trip in order to participate in the Million Man March. Directed by Spike Lee and premiering on the first anniversary of the March, it is the first film directed by Lee in which he does not appear.

This came out twenty years ago. It's taken me this long to actually stop and watch, and I'm glad I did. It was filmed over three weeks but cost 9 million to make and I'm not sure where they spent the money; mostly because it's mostly everybody on the bus talking. It's what they talk about that supposed to make us think but I didn't actually come across anything that made me think about it... it's mostly just people…More
