Today we go to Apple TV+ with a film that is a bit eccentric, but also loaded with a subtle play of disruptive scenes. Disruptive? That's the right word that will make you want to watch this strange film that plays with the ordinary and the alluring.

Believe it or not you'll feel a sense of intrigue as the plot begins, well, you'll also think you're simply watching a film loaded with romance and a night of pleasure... but the truth is that everything changes quickly, and those changes don't possess an imbalance. For some reason they keep you entertained and your mind recreates a typical James Bond scene. I felt it that way.

I can't deny that there are certain things that are lacking in the film, but you will feel the charm of Ana de Armas as Sadie. One thing that may not play very well is the compactness and bias about Chris Evans that you may have when watching the first few scenes. You know, Marvel actors always have that quaint and to be exact fantastic touch that is a bit hard to give off when he plays another character.

The truth is that I saw the film for the sexy and beautiful Ana de Armas. I have no complaints about her performance, if I must evaluate it I would say it was very fresh and attractive. Of course, as I have reiterated, much more use could have been made of the compactness of the main characters, but I will not deny that I laughed, I was struck by the subtle touches.

The plot of this 116 minute production is centered on how Cole (Chris Evans) is Ghosted by Sadie allegedly. The truth is you'll see an intense man, immersed in an insurmountable world and somewhat immature, but capable of doing anything for a captivating girl. One that seems to be full of secrets.

Hoy nos vamos a Apple TV+ con un film un poco excéntrico, pero también cargado de un sutil juego de escenas disruptivas. ¿Disruptivas? Esa es la palabra correcta que te hará querer ver esta extraña película que juega con lo común y lo atractivo.

Aunque no lo creas sentirás una intriga al iniciar la trama, bueno, también pensarás que estás viendo simplemente un film cargado de romance y con una noche de placer… pero la verdad es que todo cambia rápidamente, y esos cambios no poseen un desequilibrio. Por alguna razón te mantienen entretenido y tu mente recrea una escena típica de James Bond. Yo lo sentí de ese modo.

No puedo negar que existen ciertas cosas que carecen en el film, pero sentirás el encanto de Ana de Armas como Sadie. Algo que quizás puede que no jugará muy bien es la compactación y la predisposición sobre Chris Evans que se puede tener al ver las primeras escenas. Ya saben, los actores de Marvel siempre tienen ese toque pintoresco y para ser exactos fantástico que cuesta un poco desprender cuando interpreta otro personaje.

La verdad es que vi el film por la sexy y bella Ana de Armas. No tengo quejas de su actuación, si debo evaluarla diría que fue muy fresca y atractiva. Claro, como he reiterado, se pudo aprovechar mucho más la compactación de los protagonistas, pero no les voy a negar que me reí, me llamó la atención los toques sutiles.

El argumento de esta producción de 116 minutos está centrado en como Cole (Chris Evans) es Ghosteado por Sadie presuntamente. La verdad es que verás a un hombre intenso, inmerso en un mundo insuperable y algo inmaduro, pero capaz de hacer lo que sea por una chica cautivadora. Una que parece estar llena de secretos.

Well, the comedy of the film is good, however, it is not perfect, there is a gap in some dialogues. This could have been exploited a little more. The truth is that despite this it is entertaining due to the plot outline. The theme of disruptive is continuously present in each of the scenes due to the immediate twists, there are not many gaps between them and you adapt quickly. Overall it's a restrained production with a resolution that makes you feel like you're eating a strawberry shortcake, but has a progressive surprise. When it's over, it's over and that's it - you don't have to try it again!

I was very clear and explicit with that sequential argumentation! There were several scenes in the film that I really liked because of that touch of grace, elegance and enveloping romanticism that causes the mind to start fantasizing.

There is no star magic in the film, the relationship between the protagonists is sweet, turns rough, wild, tasteless and then tasty. In other words, it goes through a set of continuous stages that cause everything to change and mature progressively.

The message is nice, I liked the fact of nuancing a man capable of traveling to find a girl he only saw once. The sex scene, it's sweet, extremely sweet for my taste, something a little wilder could have given it a hotter touch!

There is some sensuality due to Ana de Armas' poise, that elegance can leave your mouth open and you start drooling. Yes, drooling over her beauty... I'm not going too far, this is just an imaginative appreciation of such monumental beauty. Nothing we don't already know!

The scenery in the film changes so fast that you feel that everything could be a dramatic adventure, although it is not in this way. After all nothing is what it seems, I mean Sadie's real personality is not sweet at all. She's more like a ticking time bomb that clashes with Cole's due to her simplistic personality.

Bueno, la comedia del film es buena, sin embargo, no es perfecta, existe un vacío en algunos diálogos. Esto se pudo aprovechar un poco más. La verdad es que a pesar de esto es entretenido debido al esquema de la trama. El tema de lo disruptivo está presente continuamente en cada una de las escenas debido a los giros inmediatos, no existen muchas vacantes entre ellos y te adaptas rápidamente. En términos generales es una producción moderada y con una resolución que te hace sentir que estás comiendo una tartaleta de fresas, pero que tiene una sorpresa progresiva. Cuando se acaba, se acaba y ya. ¡No tienes por qué volverla a probar!

¡Fui muy claro y explicito con esa argumentación secuencial! En el film se presentaron varias escenas que me gustó mucho debido a ese toque de gracia, elegancia y romanticismo envolvente que provoca que la mente empiece a fantasear.

No hay magia de estrellas en el film, la relación entre los protagonistas es dulce, se vuelve tosca, salvaje, insípida y después gustosa. Es decir, pasa por un conjunto de etapas continuas que provocan que todo cambie y madure progresivamente.

El mensaje es agradable, me gustó el hecho de matizar a un hombre capaz de viajar para encontrar a una chica que solo vio una vez. La escena de sexo, es dulce, extremadamente dulce para mi gusto. ¡Algo un poco más salvaje le pudo haber dado un toque más candente!

Hay algo de sensualidad debido al porte de Ana de Armas, esa elegancia puede dejarte la boca abierta y comiences a babear. Sí, babear por su belleza… No me extralimito, esto es solamente una apreciación imaginativa ante tanta belleza monumental. ¡Nada que nosotros no conozcamos ya!

Los escenarios en el film cambian tan rápido que sientes que todo puede ser una aventura dramática, aunque no es de este modo. Después de todo nada es lo que parece, me refiero a la verdadera personalidad de Sadie que no es para nada dulce. Es más bien una bomba de tiempo que se contrapone con la de Cole debido a su personalidad simplista.

Remember something: Lying is wrong! The truth always comes to light, this is clearly shown in the film and it has a terrible consequence and that is that the lives of the protagonists are at stake.

The confrontation may be dual, but the views are very well outlined in front of a woman who gives off a totally subtle and striking touch to everyone. The most involving thing is that impact she is able to give despite hiding who she is. Obviously, I am referring to the role of Ana de Armas. A beauty that is able to seduce you completely.

In a general context, the film generates an attraction, but if you analyze it, it's nothing you wouldn't have seen. After all, one of the two protagonists is an agent: what kind? The truth is that the deception is continuous. Nothing insipid, if intriguing.

There are beautiful landscapes, this would be a metaphor that my mind or thought conjured up by the form of the film. Good or bad? That determination will be made by each one; although the truth is that the dagger can be placed or erected in your neck until it makes you bleed in an unpredictable way. One that can even disrupt your pride, your self-esteem and turn you into someone extremely soft in the face of the reality that cannot be changed to simplicity.

Who is telling the truth? Who of the two protagonists is lying? witnesses? desire, steps, affection or longing? romance, drama or comedy? A flower is not capable of living two springs, but the only certainty is that winter disappears when the morning is no longer gray and everyone is carried away by their desires. The only imminent truth of it all is that there is something that will make you think repeatedly of James Bon; although to be precise I would never want to be Ghosted by a girl. Recuerden algo: ¡Mentir está mal! La verdad siempre sale a la luz, esto lo desprende el film claramente y marca una consecuencia garrafal y esa es que la vida de los protagonistas este en juego.

El enfrentamiento puede ser dual, pero las vistas se perfilan muy bien ante una mujer que desprende un toque totalmente sutil y llamativo ante todos. Lo más envolvente es ese impacto que es capaz de dar a pesar de ocultar quién es. Evidentemente, me refiero al papel de Ana de Armas. Una belleza que es capaz de seducirte por completo.

En un contexto general, el film genera una atracción, pero si lo analizas no es nada que no se hubiera visto. Después de todo, uno de los dos protagonistas es un agente: ¿De qué tipo? La verdad es que el engaño es continuo. Nada insípido, si intrigante.

Hay paisajes hermosos, esto sería una metáfora que mi mente o pensamiento conjugó por la forma del film. ¿Buena o mala? Esa determinación la efectuará cada quien; aunque lo cierto es que la daga puede ser colocada o erigida en tu cuello hasta hacerte sangrar de una manera impredecible. Una que puede incluso trastocar el orgullo, la autoestima y convertirte en alguien sumamente suave ante la realidad que no se puede cambiar a simplicidad.

¿Quién dice la verdad? ¿Quién de los dos protagonistas miente? ¿Testigos? ¿Deseo, pasos, cariño o anhelo? ¿Romance, drama o comedia? Una flor no es capaz de vivir dos primaveras, pero lo único cierto es que el invierno desaparece cuando la mañana deja de ser gris y cada quien se deja llevar por sus deseos. La única verdad inminente de todo es que existe algo que te hará pensar de manera reiterada en James Bon; aunque para ser preciso no me gustaría ser nunca Ghosteado por una chica. Have you seen the movie red alert which starred The rock gal gadot and Ryan reynos surely yes since this is one of the most popular movies of all Netflix even to this day about two years after it came out there is no other movie that has dethroned the place to the large number of hours seen. But what was the trigger of success of this movie of course obviously included three great artists who were going through their best moment for example the rock was doing very named for his participation in fast and furious and other solo movies, galgador was doing very acclaimed for his participation in justice league as wonder woman and finally there is Ryan Reynolds who acting as deadpool has managed to win the hearts of many fans.

So the combination of these factors plus a gripping plot about the discovery of an international art thief was the trigger for the success of this great movie. But recently there has been another movie that meets exactly the same requirements as red alert and in fact the plot is even more exciting but above all charismatic as that is also another necessary factor for the success of a movie.

The protagonists of this tape are nothing more and nothing less than Chris Evans America's butt 🤣 and Ana de armas actress on the rise for her participation in movies like Blondie where she plays Marilyn Monroe and in James Bond as a spy of the agency that helps the good Bond.

This movie I'm talking about is called ghosted, a movie about a guy who falls in love with a beautiful girl he meets at work and decides to follow her to the other side of the world to find out really interesting things about her and the movie will be wrapped with great disappearances of iconic characters and an extremely funny and shocking plot but above all with incredible twists and lots of action.

Has visto la película alerta roja donde actuó La roca gal gadot y Ryan reynos seguramente sí ya que esta es una de las películas más populares de todo Netflix incluso hasta el día de hoy aproximadamente dos años después de haber salido no hay otra película que le ha destronado el lugar a la gran cantidad de horas vistas. Pero cuál fue el detonante de éxito de esta película claro obviamente incluyeron a tres grandes artistas que pasaban por su mejor momento por ejemplo la roca estaba haciendo muy nombrado por su participación en rápidos y furiosos y otras películas en solitario, galgador estaba haciendo muy aclamada por su participación en la Liga de la justicia como La mujer maravilla y por último está Ryan Reynolds que actuando como deadpool ha logrado ganarse el corazón de muchos fans.

Así que la combinación de estos factores más una trama atrapante sobre el descubrimiento de un ladrón internacional de arte fue el detonante de éxito de esta gran película. Pero recientemente ha habido otra película que cumple exactamente los mismos requisitos que alerta roja y de hecho la trama es aún más emocionante pero sobre todo carismática ya que también ese es otro factor necesario para el éxito de una película.

Los protagonistas de esta cinta son nada más y nada menos que Chris Evans el trasero de América 🤣 y Ana de armas actriz en ascenso por su participación en películas como Blondie donde interpreta a Marilyn Monroe y en James Bond como una espía de la agencia que ayuda al buen Bond.

Esta película de las que estoy hablando se llama ghosted, una película que trata sobre un chico que se enamora de una hermosa muchacha que conoce en el trabajo y decide seguirla hasta el otro lado del mundo para descubrir cosas realmente interesantes sobre ella además la película estará envuelta de Gran desapariciones de personajes icónicos y una trama sumamente chistosa impactante pero sobre todo con giros increíbles y muchísima acción.

The plot of this film goes something more or less like this with a boy who has never left the country and has never managed to experience what it is to live since he stayed taking care of his parents and the family business one day he meets Sadie a somewhat mysterious but introverted girl and they both immediately fall in love. They have a first date and they both like each other very much. So cole leaves her number and sadie does the same and immediately a dilemma begins between cole and his family because they think he is a loser who drives away his partners since cole is too dependent and invasive in some way or another cole decides to go to sadie who is on the other side of the world in London but when he gets there he discovers a terrible truth about Sadie since she is an international spy and is in the middle of a mission to save the world from disaster and death so cole must be brave and try to survive this great adventure.

La trama de esta película va algo más o menos así con un muchacho que nunca ha salido del país y que nunca ha logrado experimentar lo que es vivir ya que se quedó cuidando a sus padres y al negocio familiar un día conoce a sadie una chica algo misteriosa pero introvertida y que de inmediato quedan flechados los dos. Tienen una primera cita y los dos quedan muy a gustos. Así que cole le dejas su número y sadie hace lo mismo e inmediatamente comienza un dilema entre cole y su familia porque piensan que él es un fracasado que ahuyenta a sus parejas ya que cole es demasiado dependiente e invasivo de alguna manera u otra col decide ir hasta donde está sadie que se encuentra al otro lado del mundo en Londres pero al llegar allá descubre una verdad terrible sobre Sadie ya que es una espía internacional y está en medio de una misión para salvar al mundo del desastre y la muerte así que cole debe hacerse el valiente y tratar de sobrevivir a esta Gran aventura.

In my opinion I can compare this movie to Red Alert because it features Chris Evan, an actor who is having a lot of repercussion for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain America and Ana de Armas is a girl who is also having great repercussion in the movies for her iconic roles, but another factor that made me like this movie a lot was the comedy is pure comedy not trying to make you laugh with forced jokes but everything is absolutely natural plus a very interesting point in the plot is that there are many other important actors from Marvel and other movies for example we can see Ryan Reynolds to Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, among other actors who give life to the plot.

In addition, the action sequences in the style of mission impossible combined with the comedy of the Mr. Bean movies is a unique factor, and it deals with an issue that is socially current and this is the fear of men to lose their dream girl for being too aggressive when wanting a second date or to contact back.

En mi opinión puedo comparar esta película a alerta roja ya que aparece Chris Evan un actor que está teniendo muchísima repercusión por su papel en el universo cinematográfico de Marvel como el capitán América y Ana de armas es una chica que también está teniendo gran repercusión en el cine por sus icónicos papeles, pero otro factor que hizo que esta película me gustara muchísimo fue la comedia es comedia pura no tratan de hacerte reír con bromas forzadas sino que todo es absolutamente natural además un punto bastante interesante en la trama es que aparecen muchísimos otros actores importantes de Marvel y otras películas por ejemplo podemos ver a Ryan Reynolds a Sebastián Stan, Anthony Mackie, entre otros actores que le dan vida a la trama.
Además las secuencias de acción estilo misión imposible combinadas con una comedia de las películas de Mr Bean es un factor único, y tratar un tema que es socialmente actual y este es el que es el miedo de los hombres de perder a su chica de sueño por ser demasiado agresivo al momento de querer una segunda cita o devolver a contactar.

In fact the title ghosted means absolute disappearance of the person with whom a relationship is maintained, whether sentimental or not. And that's exactly what happens in the film after cabbage says goodbye to Sade. One last thing I can comment about this movie is that I found it super funny to see Chris Evans acting in a spy movie not knowing anything about how to fight or even how to use a gun normally I have seen him in Marvel movies or recently as the grey man but it is extremely funny how here he doesn't even know how to shoot but he is a very scary man and it is really funny.

De hecho el título ghosted significa desaparición absoluta de la persona con la que se mantiene una relación, ya sea sentimental o no. Y eso es lo que pasa exactamente en la película luego de que cole se despidiera de Sadie. Pero la película también abarca lo que hace el amor verdadero ya que cole estuvo dispuesto a dejar todo atrás incluso aquello que le impedía viajar por todo el mundo para volver a tener una cita con su chica de sueño.
Una última cosa que puedo comentar de esta película es que me pareció súper gracioso ver a Chris Evans actuando en una película de espías sin saber nada acerca de cómo pelear ni siquiera cómo usar un arma normalmente lo he visto en películas de Marvel o recientemente en el hombre gris pero es sumamente chistoso como aquí no sabe ni cómo disparar sino que es un hombre muy miedoso y causa verdadera gracia.

I saw this movie thinking it was a romantic film and although it is, it is not the classic style but a mixture of this with action and adventure, in which the latter is preponderant.

There are common situations in this type of productions, outdated scenes in which it seeks to shock the viewer with them and only some traditional romance at the beginning.

The protagonist whose name is Sadie is played by Ana de Armas who in 2022 was nominated for an Oscar as Best Actress for her work in the film Blonde where she played the role of the legendary Marilyn Monroe, is a successful CIA agent and in one of her breaks she meets Cole, an attractive farmer with whom after a date she ends up having sex.

So far everything is normal but then he tries to locate her and goes to London and there he is kidnapped and taken to Pakistan confusing him with another agent of the agency in which Sadie works.

The role of the protagonist is played by Chris Evans, famous for his role as Captain America, and it should be noted that in this case his character is not that of a superhero or violent person who exhibits his fighting skills, so I think he has done a good job removing that stereotype.

The appearance of Evans undoubtedly produced great expectation and this could be noticed in the fact that the premiere of this meant the most watched exclusive of the streaming service.

Personally, I consider it disproportionate but it fulfills the minimum of entertainment, taking into account that it was created for a small audience and without many pretensions.

Over last weekend, I had a strong desire to watch a romantic comedy spy movie, leaving me with the decision between "Jennifer López's Shotgun Wedding" and "Chris Evans's Ghosted." After careful consideration, I ultimately opted for "Ghosted," with hopes that the movie would captivate me, just as Chris Evans did in his previous movie, "The Gray Man' released in 2022. Ghosted proved to be an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Ghosted (2023) was directed by Dexter Fletcher with Apple TV+ as its distributor. This movie is an American romantic-comedy action film. It was written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Chris McKenna, and Erik Sommers from a story created by Reese and Wernick. The movie starred Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas as the lead characters with Lizze Broadway, Adrien Brody, Ryan Reynolds, Sebastian Stan, and Marwan Kenzari as supporting characters. The movie revolves around Chris Evan (Cole) falling completely overhead for the fascinating Sadie whom he met at the farmers market but soon discovers she's a covert operative and who she confessed to be.

I will be taking a different approach to reviewing this movie. I won't be talking about the plot to avoid spoilers but I will be talking about the things that attracted me to this movie and its flaws. Let's dive straight into it.

Characters.

Chris Evans as Cole

Evans acted as a young man, a farmer, Cole Turner, who is fascinated with agriculture and history. He meets a young woman who he fell for instantly but later discovered she was not who she said she was. I see Evans' performance as a failure here. I was deeply disappointed because of the high expectation I had for this movie. His performance was not realistic to me. It seemed like he was struggling with his role and all he did seemed forced. This movie restricted his talent.

Ana de Armas As Sadie

Armas acted as Sadie, a young woman who encountered Cole at the farmers market spending the whole day with him as an art curator, and then disappears with no contact. Her performance was manageable for me because all the stunts she pulled in the movie were required and necessary because of her role. The only flaw I found with her role was that she had no chemistry with Evans. They both looked tense as they performed the romantic scenes of this movie.

Adrien Brody As Leveque

Brody acted as the main antagonist who was after a CIA agent who is known as the 'The Taxman'. He needed to get a hold of The Taxman to extract information to further the dark agenda he had in mind. For me Brody was the star of the movie, he made the movie entertaining and enjoyable for me. His dark humor and mannerism were what the movie needed to be at least entertaining. He stole the spotlight for me and he acted his villain part well and he was worthy of the role.

Apart from the three characters above, other supporting characters that are in some way surprised with their performance are, Ryan Reynolds, Sebastian Stan, and Marwan Kenzari; their short appearances were worthy and impactful to the plot of the movie. The two lead characters were the big flaw of this movie for me. There was no chemistry, there was tension between both of them and all their performances seemed forced.

Themes In The Plot.

The plot of this movie is rich in quality, I must confess. It was well written and it was the only positive thing that made me watch the movie till end. The storyline is interesting and entertaining regardless of the poor performance of the lead characters.

The plot of this movie has lots of powerful themes that made it rich. It explored themes like; deception, love, trust, betrayal, redemption, family, and Moral Dilemmas. All these themes were connected in a beautiful way that hooked me right from the beginning. The themes made the storyline of this movie flow freely which was easy for me not feel bored or tired of the movie.

My Review And Rating.

In my opinion, this movie would have been a blockbuster if someone else had acted alongside Ana de Armas, Chris Evan wasn't right for the role, thereby it ruined the movie for me. Apart from all the flaws I have talked about, I love the pacing of this movie, good action scenes, average CGI, good location, and the scene arrangements were excellently done. The comedy didn't really sink in well for me, I found nothing funny about comedy dialogue.

Rating this movie, I will give 3.5 out of 5 stars. It was enjoyable because of the storyline, themes of the plot and the antagonist. Ustedes saben que las películas románticas son definitivamente mis favoritas, así que desde que comencé a ver la diferente publicidad que se estaba haciendo en torno a ésta película, y aunado al papel protagónico masculino, enseguida sentí curiosidad por verla, y aunque en el tráiler nos dejan ver que será una historia con bastante acción, para mí siempre fue claro que esto estaría mas bien cargado de un tinte romántico en incluso cómico,y vaya que no me equivoqué 🤣, sin embargo no añadiré mas nada y pasamos a hablar sobre Ghosted.

Mi razón principal para ver ésta película fue claramente Chris Evans, y es que para nadie que me conozca es un secreto que yo soy súper fan de él, sin embargo otro aspecto que hizo que mi hermana y yo nos interesaramos por ver ésta historia, fue toda la publicidad que bos salió con respecto a ella, tanto en Instagram como en tik tok constantemente salían videos alusivos a la misma, por lo que fue imposible no buscar la forma de verla. Antes de verla yo había visto el tráiler, algo que no suelo hacer mucho últimamente, y fue así como logre de alguna forma saber cual era el tinte de ésta película, desde el inicio sabía que sería una historia cómica cuyo foco principal sería obviamente el romance con un poco de acción, y aquí quiero detenerme porque las escenas de acción realmente no son muy buenas 🤣, he de decir que no es lo peor que he visto, pero si son demasiado irreales y con ciertos detalles a nivel de efectos especiales que dejan mucho que desear, incluso para ser una historia que realmente no está enfocada en dicho género, creo que hay cosas que pudieron cuidar con mayor detenimiento.

Before watching it I had seen the trailer, something I don't usually do much lately, and that's how I managed to somehow know what the tone of this movie was, from the beginning I knew it would be a comic story whose main focus would obviously be romance with a bit of action, and here I want to stop because the action scenes really aren't very good 🤣, I have to say that it's not the worst I've seen, but they are too unrealistic and with certain details at the level of special effects that leave much to be desired, even for a story that is not really focused on that genre, I think there are things that could have been taken care of more carefully.

Éste es el primer proyecto que veo donde trabaja Ana de Armas, y la verdad es que si me gusta su trabajo, de verdad le creí el papel que están interpretando y la verdad es que eso no pasa con todos los actores, sobre todo en éste tipo de historias. Ahora bien, el título de la película es Ghosted, pero siento que este apartado ocupa muy poco tiempo de toda la trama, aunque no es una queja realmente me espere que fuese un elemento que perdurara por más tiempo 🤣.

Hola amigos de la Comunidad Hive bendiciones para todos. Hoy les traigo una película de Acción, Aventura, Comedia y Romance del 2023, Producida por Apple Studios y Skydanc, Dirigida por Dexter Fletchery Escrita por Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Chris McKenna y Erik Sommers, se trata de GHOSTED y Protagonizada por Ana de Armas y Chris Evans.

¿De qué trata?

La historia comienza en la carretera con Sadie (Ana de Armas) quien se dirige a las montañas a escaparse de algo que sucedió en el trabajo, se detiene en un sitio por comida y decide comprar una planta allí conoce a Cole (Chris Evans) quien atiende el puesto de una amiga, discuten por una planta, luego el sale a buscarla y le pide una cita, poco a poco se fue enamorando perdidamente de Sadie hasta que esta desaparece, la rastrea y se da de cuenta que está en Londres, viaja hasta allá a partir de allí comenzara la verdadera aventura, cuando el descubra el secreto que esconde.

Opinión Personal

Sigo en la onda de la Películas Románticas, pero esta me dejo vacía, lo que empezó tan bien y con una química increíble entre Cole Turner (Chris Evans) y Sadie Rhodes (Ana de Armas), paso a ser de una película romántica a una película de espías. Claro me reí muchísimo en la escenas cuando Cole se deslizo de un cerro pero de manera equivocada y exclamó, me trague una piedra fue cómico, él no sabía que estaba pasando, no sabía cómo disparar. La película es muy cómica tiene mucho humor me encanto esas partes.

Pienso que la película perdió la belleza del comienzo, de esa química, yo pensé que iba a ver pasión, de puro amor, ya que Cole estaba perdidamente enamorado de Sadie y de repente dio un giro que nadie esperaba, he visto varias películas parecidas comenzando en 1994 con Mentiras Verdaderas muy cómica, en esa ocasión Arnold Schwarzenegger era el espía, pero no son ese tipo de película que me llaman la atención. Paso de ser de una Película Romántica a una Película de Aventura y Acción.

Fue una película divertida buena para pasar un rato, con esa mirada de Ana de Armas que enamora, con buenos escenarios, y excelentes actores, como Adrien Brody, entre otros. Así como también me enamore de su Banda Sonora canciones como Uptown Funk, Love Again, Are you Gonna be my Girl, My sharona, Taxman entre otras. Buenos amigo espero la vean coménteme que les pareció. I'm still in the mood for romantic movies, but this one left me empty, what started out so well and with an incredible chemistry between Cole Turner (Chris Evans) and Sadie Rhodes (Ana de Armas), turned from a romantic movie to a spy movie. Of course I laughed a lot in the scenes when Cole slid down a hill but in the wrong way and exclaimed, I swallowed a rock, it was funny, he didn't know what was going on, he didn't know how to shoot. The movie is very funny, it has a lot of humor, I loved those parts.

I think the movie lost the beauty of the beginning, of that chemistry, I thought I was going to see passion, of pure love, as Cole was madly in love with Sadie and suddenly it took a turn that no one expected, I have seen several similar movies starting in 1994 with True Lies very comical, in that occasion Arnold Schwarzenegger was the spy, but they are not that kind of movie that call my attention. It went from being a Romantic Movie to an Adventure and Action Movie.

The recent churning out of bland and mediocre films by the entertainment industry has left many viewers disappointed. The filmmakers try their best to patch things up by featuring iconic stars and yet, it's like adding fuel to fire!

I see Ana de Armas and Chris Evans on this film's poster and I'm charmed. I'm also excited from their pose that romance is involved and I'm hoping it will be captivating. The entire running time of one hour, and fifty-six minutes turns out to be a waste but not totally. Once again, Ana de Armas wins viewers over with her performance.

Ghosted (2023), is a romantic action comedy where Cole Turner (played by Chris Evans), a farmer/historian meets a mysterious lady, Sadie (played by Ana de Armas) at the market. He grudgingly sells her a plant after an intense bickering about which plant needs less care and attention. The two spend the whole day and night together and end up in bed.

The next day, Cole tries to contact Sadie and sends her a bunch of texts and emojis. He gets no response and his sister mocks him, saying he's been 'ghosted'. Yet his family convinces him to go looking for his girl after a tracker he put on his inhaler in Sadie's possession indicates she's in London.

As Cole makes the romantic gesture of travelling to London and he's immediately kidnapped by a torturer, Borislov (played by Tim Blake Nelson), who believes Cole is 'The Taxman', an operative with the passcode to a bio-weapon named “Aztec”. Confused and a stranger in London, Cole looks death in the eye. Who will come to his aid? Is Sadie more than she claimed to be?

Review

After watching this film, I wished they never shot it or maybe the four screenwriters had done a better job of writing something impressive, worthy of these two stars' image and performance. A farmer meets a girl, falls for her and discovers she's a CIA operative. Surely, any cinephile can see from a mile away that this is a common plot in most action comedies but this film could surpass other films if more effort was put into it.

There are some things wrong with this film so I'll spell them out:

Cliché

Viewers love it when a couple in love bicker while trying to sort out their feelings. In Ghosted, it was overdone. In my opinion, the bickering and bantering between the gunshots, explosions, and car chase that comprise most of the plot are a little awkward and a bit cliché, typical of similar scenes in Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Knight and Day.

I see these scenes as a complete waste of time borne from a lack of creative imagination. I'm unhappy writing this negative review because these two actors are part of my favourites (Ana de Armas more than Chris Evans). I'll rush to watch any of their films in a heartbeat.

It's a little sad how this film turned out. I don't blame these actors since they work with the script they are given. But when I learned they are a part of the production team, I'm a little disappointed. More blame should go to the screenwriters and the director, Dexter Fletcher.

Disjointed Action Sequences

Another part of the film I'll comment on is the action sequences. I always love films that feature ladies as badass and tough protagonists. Ana de Armas did great portraying a CIA operative. She has a good handle on the gunfights but not so much on the fight parts.

Chris Evan plays the part of a farmer but somewhere couldn't help throwing in some good punches and displaying expert use of guns. Are most farmers that good in these areas? I'm not sure but his alter ego, Captain America, must have found these scenes too tempting to lay low and play 'the damsel in distress'.

The ideas behind the action sequences are captivating but a little exaggerated. The shooting is disengaging and so ordinary. There was nothing spectacular about them. The scene where a bounty is placed on Cole Turner as the Taxman which features cameo appearances of well-known actors like Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie and even Ryan Reynolds is like a copycat of the bounty scene in the John Wick series. It's distracting and shows no originality. With this ensemble of cast, viewers would expect more but alas, we are left a little disappointed.

Lack Of Chemistry

Another part that defines the failure of this film is the lack of chemistry between Ana de Armas and Chris Evans! If there's one important thing in a film that viewers want more than any other is hot chemistry between the main cast, especially if romance is involved. I'm afraid these two sorely lacked it.

The consistent remarks by the other cast, "You two should get a room" is like an afterthought to mend the holes perceived in the film. Having worked together on Knives Out and The Gray Man, I expect that Ana and Chris know each other better by now and can create sexual tension and set scenes on fire romantically. Alas, it's not so!

Overall, this film is a one-time watch and very forgettable. I wouldn't recommend it but if you do, let me know your thoughts.
