  1. Gold || The gate of wealth and death between dreams and reality@cute-cactus1353d

The struggle for life can take different forms in different times and places. Sometimes the struggle can have more than one effect at the same time.

When such struggles are against nature, against living beings, against natural disasters or against other species, they become interesting and arouse my curiosity.

If it is a movie, I tend to watch it.

Made in 2022, Gold is one of the genres I mentioned and has high tension. The movie has a story that is played by 3-4 people for almost its entire duration and where greed and the desire to get rich come to the fore.

First of all, I would like to talk about what I found most interesting in the movie. In a time when it has become much more difficult to survive and to find a job, the radio news mentions that 1 Bitcoin is 1.25 million dollars. This is an incredible figure for crypto enthusiasts and a figure that the blockchain community aspires to realize in terms of the future. Even if it was in the movie, it got me excited for a while and caused a flashing dollar sign in my eyes. Lol

After a few halvings, maybe after a period of 10-15 years, we will actually see the numbers, which for now are just a scene in the movie!

For centuries, gold has been the safest haven for investors. It has held its value among the people since the time of historical records. Finding gold is one of the fastest paths to wealth.

The movie Gold has such a subject. After the company he barely finds a job with assigns him to guard a desert land, the man who goes to the area realizes that the mass he thought was a rock is gold, and together with the man who took him to the place he was supposed to protect, he wants to extract the rock and pass through the gate of wealth.

But those who know that too much of anything is bad, realize that sharing too much gold is just as bad as sharing none at all. The desire to have 100% instead of 50-50% turns into a struggle between the two and those who intervene later.

Andreas Sobik's acting as the gold guardian was excellent. He managed to take up 70% of the movie and he did a great job in the transition from the man who makes you walk away instead of even killing the scorpion that comes near him at the beginning to the man who chooses to kill the woman he thinks will steal the gold.

Everyone would like to be in such a great chance that a person can encounter only once in a lifetime, but there may be some who change their minds after watching the movie. Instead of being insatiable, being content with the piece that will provide a good life, understanding the difference between less and more and evaluating it correctly were the side effects of the movie during and after watching it. I define these side effects in a strictly positive sense.

For example, if I had been there (in Andreas Sobik's place) I would have picked a few kilos of the golden rock and walked away from the scene.

I remember a proverb that says, "He who is not content with little does not appreciate much".

Come sempre vi aspetto su www.serialfiller.org.

    ENG

As usual, today I bring you a new Preview of an article that in a few days or weeks you will see in the Mind of a SerialFiller, my blog entirely focused on the world of TV series and of which, since a few months, I decided to give you constantly, in advance of what I will publish, most of the posts you will see on www.serialfiller.org. The ride towards the series finale for Peaky Blinders continues. After having told you about the first 2 episodes of the show, today I'm going to talk about the third episode of the magnificent series that you can also find on Netflix until season 5.

In the third episode that speech is not interrupted but changes interlocutors. It will not be Tommy to act as a glue between the political, business and criminal world and what in those years was the national-popular current that would lead to the extermination of millions of Jews and the Second World War but it will be his sister Ada, Ada Thorne to conduct the black orchestra. Ada, Ada Thorne, reluctant to follow the family business will be called to the difficult task of dividing between opium, gambling and illegal business but, above all, to connect the Americans (Nelson) and the British "blacks" (Mosley). The socialist Ada will clash with the impetuous and riding anti-Semitic wave that, according to its own interpreters, will lead to a purification that could, however, spare the Gipsy. The elegance, the class and the intellect of the most cultured and progressive of the Shelby's could be that further nuance that will bring the negotiations to currently unpredictable outcomes. Ada's intervention is made necessary by the worrying health conditions of Ruby, Tommy's daughter, who is suffering from Tuberculosis, a lethal and contagious disease that will unleash the most primal instincts in Thomas. What we see in "Gold" is a helpless Tommy Shelby, unprepared, upset. Faced with the inescapable and the indestructible, Tommy will react by trying to make a pact with elusive and invisible entities, which nowadays we would call mystical, convinced that, even in the face of death, some kind of pact of mutual convenience can be made. His wandering will take him away from his dying daughter and towards steep and deserted mountains, in search of his other lost sister Esme. Gold will wear a dual saving function. On the one hand, the gold salts could be the cure for Ruby; on the other, the gold bars could be the currency with which to pay Esme and reject any gypsy curse. The finale will reveal, metaphorically, that not all the gold in the world will be enough to curb Mother Nature in all her ruthless murderous fury. Halfway through the season, Peaky Blinders has been able to devastate us viewers and its protagonist, launching us towards the last 3 episodes of the series that promise to be exquisitely uncertain and unpredictable.

As always, I look forward to seeing you at www.serialfiller.org. Please, if you are also serialfillers, sign up and spread the word so that this small community will become larger and larger! I'll wait for you on social networks (telegram included) Thanks for your attention!
