For many years the Halloween brand had more interesting parts and knew how to be at least a little consistent in what it wants to stop, but then Halloween 20 years later comes along all in white spoiling the whole thing and adding so many absurdities that it's hard to watch.
The film, like the new trilogy, abandons parts 3-6 in favor of continuing the events of Halloween 2.
The world has changed in the 20 years since we last saw Miachael, with Laurie graduating and even becoming a principal and having a tweenage 17-year-old son who is also attending the university.
Laurie's annual schisms cause her to forbid her son from celebrating the holiday, but she knows she won't stop him. Laurie falls into the embrace of a teacher who is not too keen to listen to her life story. One could say that life is somehow working out for her. However, evil lurks quite close. This is one of the few films where the main antagonist wears two extremely different and ill-fitting masks. Despite a lot of well-known names it will not give the viewer anything, because each of the famous people just started in this film before they got better offers. Jammie Lee Curtis plays terribly bad, even forcefully forces some emotion out of himself, although mostly it's idiotic decisions. The scheme of the film is a little different, and I must admit that as much as I complained that there is little Michael in the new Halloween Ends, I must correct because there is even less in H20 where Michael appears for the last 29 minutes of the film ( the film is 85 minutes long). His appearance makes me smile, because he is not a villain who hunts victims, but rather a character from a cheap slapstick comedy.
The deaths are terribly naive from a victim killed with a knife and another with a kitchen crane ;D I must also mention that this is the only part where Michael has the power of teleportation, because he always returns to where the victim is, even though moments earlier he was on the floor above or in another room. As it's the 90s, there is also a laid-back black guard at the university, who fluffs erotic books, but also manages to be a comedic character so that people don't remove him. He quickly dies after 7 shots to get up at the end as if nothing and help the heroine call the police ;D As for the young actors, I don't cling because the script is so bad that even the best would fall on this merry-go-round of embarrassment. This is the only part where they killed him and he escaped :) This film proves to the viewer that at a certain age he sees such stupidity so much that he can not enjoy the screening. Literally nothing works properly in this film.
Even the special effects, i.e. deaths, are done on the cheap, making the viewer watching this see the worst film that could have been made in this series. Perhaps the biggest downside is the terribly badly chosen music for the scene. It builds tension, and we get a quiet scene, etc. It's full of it so we can forget about any kind of impression. This movie looks like it fell into someone's blender and came out a creation that has bad music, bad script and effects, and the scenes are so badly matched that we forget what was a few seconds before. I don't recommend it because it's a bad movie full of holes made to make a few bucks on the popularity of the brand while contributing literally nothing meaningful. 1/10

Przez wiele lat marka Halloween miewała ciekawsze części i wiedziała jak być choć trochę konsekwentna w tym co chce przestawić, jednak wtedy zjawia się halloween 20 lat później cały na biało psując całość i dodając tyle absurdów, ze ciężko ogląda się.
Film tak jak nowa trylogia porzuca części 3-6 na rzecz kontynuacji wydarzeń z Halloween 2.
Świat przez 20 lat od ostatniego spotkania z Miachaelem się zmienił, a Laurie ukończyła szkole i nawet została dyrektorem i ma tez dorastającego 17 letniego syna, który również uczy się na tej uczelni.
Coroczne schizmy Laurie powoduja, ze zakazuje synowi obchodzić tego święta, jednak wie, ze go nie powstrzyma. Laurie wpada w objęcia nauczyciela, który niezbyt chętnie słucha jej życiowej historii. Można rzec, ze życie jakoś się jej układa. Jednak zło czyha całkiem blisko. To jeden z nielicznych filmów gdzie główny przeciwnik nosi dwie skrajnie różniące i złe dopasowane maski. Pomimo dużo znanych nazwisk to nic nie da widzowi, bo każdy z znanych osób po prostu zaczęła w tym filmie nim dostali lepsze propozycje. Jammie Lee Curtis gra strasznie złe, wręcz na sile wymusza z siebie jakieś emocje, choć przeważnie to idiotyczne decyzje. Schemat filmu trochę różni się i muszę przyznać, ze o ile narzekałem, ze w nowym Halloween Ends jest mało Michaela tak muszę poprawić bo jeszcze mniej jest w H20 gdzie Michael pojawia się na ostatnie 29 minut film ( film trwa 85 minut) Jego pojawienie powoduje uśmiech na twarzy, bo to nie złoczyńca, który poluje na ofiary, a raczej postać z taniej komedii slapstickowej.
Śmierci są strasznie naiwne od ofiara zabita za pomocą noża a inna za pomocą dźwigu kuchennego ;D Jeszcze muszę wspomnieć, ze to jedyna cześć gdzie Michael posiada moc teleportacji bo zawsze ponawia się tam gdzie akurat znajduje się ofiara mimo, ze chwile wcześniej był na pietrze wyżej bądź w innym pomieszczeniu. Jako, ze to lata 90 pojawia się tez wyluzowany czarny strażnik uczelni, który puszę erotyczne książki, ale i potrafi być komediowa postacią by ludzie nie usunęli. Szybko ginie po 7 strzałach by na końcu jak gdyby nic wstać i pomoc bohaterce zadzwonić po policję ;D Co do młodych aktorów, to nie czepiam się bo scenariusz jest na tyle zły, ze nawet najlepsi by polegli na tej karuzeli żenady. To jedyna cześć gdzie zabili go, a on uciekł :) Ten film udowadaniać widza, ze w pewnym wieku dostrzega takie głupoty na tyle mocno, ze nie potrafi cieszyć się seansem. W tym filmie dosłownie nic nie działa poprawnie.
Nawet efekty specjalne czyli śmierci są wykonane tanim kosztem, przez co widz oglądając to widzi najgorszy film jaki mógł powstać w tej serii. Chyba największym minusem jest strasznie złe dobierana muzyka do danej sceny. Budująca napięcie, a otrzymujemy spokojna scenę itp. Jest tego pełno wiec o jakieś impresji możemy zapomnieć. Ten film wyglada jakby wpadł komuś do miksera i wyszedł twór, który ma zła muzyke, zły scenariusz i efekty, a sceny są tak złe dobrane, ze zapominamy co było kilka sekund wcześniej. Nie polecam bo to zły film pełen dziur zrobiony by na popularności marki zarobić kilka dolarów nie wnosząc dosłownie nic sensownego. 1/10
