Para mí sin duda este es uno de los mejores dramas, hasta el momento, del 2025 ya que es un drama bastante atípico diría yo, tiene romance, comedía, pero también tiene muchos momentos muy conmovedores en los que es imposible no llorar, la mayor parte del drama transcurre en el cielo lo que es totalmente nuevo para mí y me pareció bastante entretenido, además de la diferencia de edades de los protagonistas 😆 morí de risa al ver esta pareja interactuar ya que la diferencia de edades es abismal, jamás había visto algo así, por lo tanto para mi es un drama totalmente atípico.

For me without a doubt this is one of the best dramas, so far, of 2025 as it is a quite atypical drama I would say, it has romance, comedy, but it also has many very touching moments where it is impossible not to cry, most of the drama takes place in heaven which is totally new to me and I found it quite entertaining, besides the age difference of the main characters 😆 I died laughing when I saw this couple interacting since the age difference is abysmal, I had never seen anything like this, so for me it is a totally atypical drama.

Lo que más ame de esta serie es lo reflexiva y conmovedora que es, la serie nos invita a reflexionar sobre nuestra vida después de la muerte, pero no solo eso sino que toco también el tema del maltrato animal y el ciber acoso de una manera bastante creativa diría yo, como les dije al principio, tuve que apagar mi cerebro 🧠 para ver este drama porque tengo un concepto del cielo bastante diferente al de esta série y aunque para mi los animales no van al cielo porque solo tienen espíritu de vida mas no alma la verdad es que me gustaron mucho las escenas de las mascotas reencontrándose con sus dueños, además de que siento que fue una forma muy linda y bastante explícita de abordar el tema del maltrato animal, desde ya les dijo que quién no llore con estas escenas es porque tiene corazón de piedra.

What I loved most about this series is how thoughtful and touching it is, the series invites us to reflect on our life after death, but not only that but it also touches on the issue of animal abuse and cyber bullying in a very creative way I would say, as I said at the beginning, I had to turn off my brain 🧠 to watch this drama because I have a concept of heaven quite different from this series and although for me animals do not go to heaven because they only have spirit of life but no soul the truth is that I really liked the scenes of pets reuniting with their owners, plus I feel it was a very nice and quite explicit way to address the issue of animal abuse, I already told you that who does not cry with these scenes is because he has a heart of stone.

Por otro lado el capítulo dedicado al infierno fue bastante aterrador y muy detallado ya que hay un castigo diferente para cada quien dependiendo el pecado o los pecados cometidos, es aquí donde hacen referencia al ciber acoso mostrando el castigo atroz que enfrentarán las personas que se dedican a esto, espero que más de uno al ver este drama tome conciencia.

On the other hand the chapter dedicated to hell was quite frightening and very detailed since there is a different punishment for each person depending on the sin or sins committed, it is here where they make reference to cyber bullying showing the atrocious punishment that people who engage in this will face, I hope that more than one to see this drama take conscience.

Algo que ame de este drama es que había escenas en donde te volaban la cabeza 🤯 con giros super inesperados, se me hizo imposible aburrirme, lo bueno es que todo encajo perfecto siento que no tuvo incoherencias, cosa que suele ocurrir mucho con este tipo de tramas.

Something I loved about this drama is that there were scenes where they blew your mind 🤯 with super unexpected twists, it was impossible for me to get bored, the good thing is that everything fit perfectly I feel it had no inconsistencies, which usually happens a lot with this kind of plots.

Si tengo que hablar sobre lo que no me gusto fueron algunas escenas de relleno que vi bastante innecesarias y aunque apague el cerebro lo más que pude y acepte el cielo tal cual ellos lo describieron lo que no pude tolerar es el hecho de que no vieran el suicidio como algo malo, ya hasta los que se habían quitado la vida estaban el cielo y siento que eso da más pie al suicidio que también es considerado un pecacado, pero dejando eso aparte la verdad es que el drama es genial.

Hello everyone, how are you? Hopefully you are always happy like the Korean drama that I want to review this time. Have you ever heard of heaven and hell? Yes, this time I will review a drama that is currently very viral in my country, the title is HEAVENLY EVER AFTER. This drama tells the story of life after death based on certain religious beliefs, this is not impossible for us to experience, especially for those who believe in it.

SYNOPSIS

This story tells of a husband and wife who live in a world full of suffering, they always get problems until they finally die, leaving a big question mark. Like the applicable law, the evil will be punished and the good will receive a beautiful reward, that's how this drama visualizes it in an epic story.

FRESH CONCEPT

In my opinion, this drama is really crazy, starting from the setting with the appearance of the afterlife, where there is heaven and hell. All the visuals are displayed beautifully, there is a heavenly land train, bicycles and a mail delivery system from earth to heaven. It really makes the audience feel at home. Not to mention the amazing theme of love, sacrifice, loyalty and second chances that are explored very captivatingly.

A VERY TOUCHING STORY

There are many stories depicted in this drama that make you cry. About the relationship between humans, humans and animals, even animals and animals. Everything is depicted very clearly and emotionally, making me cry many times at each story of the inhabitants of heaven. I even cried when I saw a blind dog who met his master again in heaven.

DEEP CHEMISTRY

Although this drama is played by Kim Hye Ja (Lee Hae Sook) who plays an old woman and Son Suk Ku (Go Nak Joon) as a young man, it looks very different because they have a bond as husband and wife in the drama. At first it was strange, but because the chemistry that was built was very deep, it made me as the audience feel like they were a very harmonious couple. Plus the acting of the other players seemed to be burning in a hot and terrible hell. Although the CGI effect was a little less smooth, but all was covered by the touching drama.

CONCLUSION

From my point of view, this drama is really suitable for viewers who like meaningful fantasy love stories. If you really like dramas like Hi Bye, Mama or The Light in Your Eyes, I think you really have to watch this. Not recommended for those who like action dramas or heavy conflicts, it won't connect, haha.

The drama Heavenly Ever After deserves appreciation, because it managed to touch the hearts of the audience the most. The story is simple but deep in meaning, plus the solid acting makes us viewers touched about eternal love and life. Yes, there are a few shortcomings in terms of visuals and the tempo of the story, but it doesn't matter, this drama is still really worth watching. Especially for those of you who want to reflect on love and life after death.

What is the plot about?…

The story focuses on Lee Hae-sook, an 80 year old woman, who has had a difficult life, when her husband is bedridden and enduring people's insults, because she is in charge of giving loans to people and, therefore, she is strict when it comes to repayment and interest, something that others do not like. Hae-sook always asked her husband to go to heaven, never mind her, as she always believed that his actions were not good.

Her husband dies and she follows him a year later, when she arrives in heaven, the administration allows her to choose not only with whom to spend her stay there, but to choose the age they wanted, however, Hae-sook decides to stay 80 years old, because of a comment made by her husband, which surprises everyone, because most of them decide to return to being young. When she finishes completing her admission, she is reunited with her husband, who had returned to his 30 years old appearance, this will cause conflicts to arise in a couple who did not have the opportunity to experience the different stages in a marriage, adding that, her stay in heaven, will make painful memories come to the surface, will our dear grandmother Hae-sook have the opportunity to release all affliction and find forgiveness towards herself? What secrets will her husband keep?

Personal opinion

This k-drama takes you on a roller coaster ride, where emotions rise and fall at every moment, it really made me very beautiful, impeccable performances and quite deep themes that invites acceptance and healing of the soul, to understand life, death and the ties that will always bind us to each other. The scenarios of heaven and hell are very attractive and how sins in life are punishments, because as the saying goes: “there is nothing hidden in this world” we will all pay for our actions in some way.

Although there was criticism for the lack of chemistry between the main characters, I found it funny, it is not the passionate romantic style, but rather of understanding and looking for each other, for me there was chemistry, it was palpable, you could see the respect that the main actor has for the actress Kim Hye-ja, who did very well being the last project she did, since she retired from the world of acting. I must admit that what touched a fiber in me the most, was the issues surrounding animals, it brought a couple of tears to my eyes, as I have had the experience of not only losing pets, but also 3 in the same year, it really was and will be hard to remember, and I loved the fact that animal abusers receive their due punishment, it felt like a small satisfaction.

SPOILER ALERT

There were criticized in the scene where the truth is revealed about Som-yi, a mysterious young woman who is discovered to be a forgotten memory, like a buried emotion of the protagonist at that age, when she lost her son; they criticized the fact that there was not that essence between the grandmother and her son as they wanted, but analyzing, hey she is a very old lady, although she can act, making her express such strong emotions is a bit rude for her, she is already 80 years old. Rather, the young version knew how to express it wonderfully and it was like a way to let go and heal that wound she experienced at that moment.

Positive points…

-He connects with the audience very well, conveying emotions with certainty.

-Great chemistry between the characters.

-Profound issues.

-It's not a plot I've seen before as such, it was original to me.

-Noteworthy performances.

-The characters are deep and none are left out.

Pues hoy les vengo con un k-drama que, en lo personal, me encantó, me sacos lágrimas, risas y demás, vale la pena verlo así que, sin más que agregar, les comparto mis opiniones del mismo.

Estrenada en abril de este año, el director Kim Sok-yoon, junto a la participaciones estelares de Kim Hye-ja, Son Seok-koo y Han Ji-min, nos traen una historia cargada de mucha emoción, romance y fantasía.

¿De qué va la trama?…

La historia se centra en Lee Hae-sook, una mujer mayor de 80 años, quién ha tenido una vida difícil, cuando a su esposo en cama y soportando los insultos de las personas, pues ella se encarga de dar prestamos a las personas y, por ende, es estricta al momento de devolverse el pago e intereses, cosa que a los demás no le agrada. Hae-sook siempre pedía que su esposo fuera al cielo, que no importa ella, pues siempre creía que sus acciones no eran buenas.

Su esposo muere y ella le seguí un año después, al llegar al cielo, la administración le permite elegir no solo con quien pasar su estadía ahí, sino escoger la edad que deseaban, sin embargo, Hae-sook decide permanecer de 80 años, por un comentario que le hizo el esposo, lo cual sorprende a todos, porque la mayoría decide volver a ser joven. Cuando termina de completar su ingreso se reencuentra con su esposo, quien había vuelto a su apariencia de 30 años, esto hará que se surjan conflictos en una pareja que no tubo la oportunidad de experimentar las distintas etapas en un matrimonio, agregando que, su estadía en el cielo, harán que recuerdos dolorosos salgan a flote ¿tendrá la oportunidad nuestra querida abuelita Hae-sook de soltar toda aflicción y encontrar un perdón hacia si misma? ¿Qué secretos guardará su esposo?

Opinión personal

Este k-drama te lleva a una montaña rusa, donde las emociones suben y bajan a cada momento, realmente se me hizo muy hermoso, actuaciones impecables y con temas bastantes profundos que invita a la aceptación y la sanación del alma, a entender la vida, la muerte y los lazos que siempre nos ataran con el otro. Los escenarios del cielo y el infierno resultan muy atractivos y el como los pecados en vida son castigos, ya que como dice el dicho: “no hay nada oculto en este mundo” todo pagaremos de algún modo nuestros actos.

Aunque hubo criticas por la falta de química entre los protagonistas principales, a mi se me hizo divertida, no es el de estilo romántico apasionado, sino más bien de compresión y buscarse en el otro, para mi si hubo química, estaba palpable, se notaba mucho el respeto que le tiene el actor principal a la actriz Kim Hye-ja, misma que lo hizo muy bien siendo el último proyecto que realizó, debido a que se retiro del mundo de la actuación. Debo admitir que lo que más tocó una fibra en mí, fue los temas que rodean a los animales, me sacaron un par de lágrimas, pues he tenido la experiencia de no solo perder mascotas, sino también 3 en un mismo año, realmente fue y será duro de recordar, y me encanto el hecho de que los maltratadores de animales reciban su debido castigo, se sintió como una pequeña satisfacción.

ALERTA SPOILER

Hubo criticas en la escena que en el que se va relevando la verdad en torno a Som-yi, una joven misteriosa que se descubre que en realidad es un recuerdo olvidado, como una emoción enterrada de la protagonista a esa edad, cuando perdió a su hijo; criticaron el hecho de que no hubo esa esencia entre la abuelita y su hijo como querían, pero yo analizando, hey es una señora muy mayor, aunque puede actuar, hacerla que exprese esas emociones tan fuertes se me hace algo rudo para ella, ya son 80 años. Más bien, la versión joven lo supo expresar de maravilla y fue como un modo de dejar soltar y sanar esa herida que vivió en ese momento.

Puntos positivos…

-Conecta con la audiencia muy bien, transmite las emociones con certeza.

-Una gran química entre los personajes.

-Temas profundos.

-No es una trama que haya visto antes como tal, se me hizo original.

-Actuaciones destacables.

-Los personajes son profundos y ninguno es dejado de lado.

Puntos negativos…

-Falta de lógica en ciertos puntos.

-En un punto, el ritmo se siente lento.
