Today I'd like to share with you the review of a film that caught my attention because of its title, which in Spanish translates as "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas." However, since my nephew had talked to me a lot about it, telling me that it's full of reflections and values, I felt drawn to the idea of watching it, and he didn't think twice about reproducing it and having us watch it together.

The protagonist of the story is an unfriendly and antisocial boy who does not like to interact with anyone, only with his books, for this reason he works in the library, on one occasion while waiting to be seen at the hospital he gets a diary, and without being able to avoid curiosity he reads part of it, discovering that whoever wrote it has a terminal illness that affects his pancreas, suddenly he realizes that the one who returned for the diary was a girl who was his classmate and she asks him not to reveal anything to anyone, to which he responds with antipathy that he is not interested in talking to anyone, so her secret is safe, and this answer saddens her because in reality she is secretly in love with him, for that reason she decides to spend more time in the library to try to get closer to him

Little by little I have realized that there are animated stories with a lot of depth, so eventually I give them a chance, in this case something that caught my attention besides the title, is that unlike other stories I have seen, the main characters are very different from each other and do not seem to have any affinity: he is reserved, she is extroverted, he prefers to be alone and she loves being surrounded by friends, however, as they spend time together there is a wonderful feedback that allows them to evolve through empathy, he learns to open his heart and express his feelings in the face of the imminent possibility of losing her.

At some point he receives devastating news that goes far beyond what he had expected due to Sakura's illness, this news knocks him to the ground emotionally and makes him go back on everything he had evolved, and this happens when the individual does not have good management of emotions and does not know how to channel the pain, but at the same time I am pleased to see that he gathered strength to fulfill a precise objective that would demonstrate what he was made of.

The story at the beginning shows us a prolepsis that allows us to glimpse where the events are heading and for that reason in a certain way we already know what will happen to Sakura, which in turn prevents us from creating false expectations about some miraculous cure, because the objective of the film is not to save a hopeless character, but to learn from him as much as possible.

This story confirms to me that things don't happen by chance, that everything has a reason, since the goal is for human beings to learn from each other and from every situation that happens to them, discovering that even in negative things there can be something positive that makes you evolve and grow morally, emotionally and spiritually.

Still, I can't deny that after watching it, I was left with a feeling similar to when I saw Grave of the Fireflies. That's why I consider them films that, although they are good and have great reflections on life, I can only watch once, especially because of the feeling of helplessness that it generated in me that what happened to Sakura had nothing to do with her illness, and the viewer has no information about it, this left me bewildered. Even so, I still recommend the film because it is truly worth it for the powerful message it leaves us with.

Your Relationships Do Matter and More Than You Think

Hey, what's up people!!! I hadn't been here for a few days due to college and time, but we are back and this time with a movie that, although you know what it is by the cover, I had on my endless list of anime to watch and that is growing more and more. A movie that will undoubtedly make you cry, unless you play hard to get (like me) and yet and that didn't work for me, a movie that will not only captivate us for its story and development but also the message it leaves for us at the end of it all. As always there will be spoilers, so if you continue reading it will be at your own risk, I warned you.

First things first, and the first thing is to know what Me Quiero Comer tu Páncreas is about. The film puts us in the shoes of a young man whose name we do not know until the end of the film, one day our protagonist finds a paperback book entitled “Living with death”, it turns out to be a diary of a young woman who has a disease which affects her pancreas and has a few months to live. From this premise begins our journey of self-improvement and appreciating the good and beautiful in relationships.

The animation of the film is somewhat particular for me, since it was a little weird that in some parts it seemed as if the animation was frozen and from one moment to another the most fluid frames I've ever seen, I say weird because it's the first time I see something like that although zero and it's just me but it gave me that impression. The soundtrack accompanies throughout the film and the emotional moments that our protagonists leave us throughout the film. As always, and for me it's already a habit, I don't watch the openings of any anime, unless I consider them very very good, so I'll just say go xd.

    Foto 5.jpg Source

The length of the film seems fine to me, every minute counts and contributes to the development of the characters but its pace sometimes makes it feel a little slow, that and it takes its time to tell the story but it seems fine to me because every detail of this plot counts, not only for the entertainment of this type of stories but also what they can convey. The message of the film I think is quite clear, or at least its main objective, and is that it relates to everything that would come to be the interpersonal relationships that surround our lives.

At the beginning we see how our protagonist is a lonely boy who is not interested in socializing at all and prefers the story that the books give us because he is carried away by what he thinks others think of him until Sakura comes into his life, and little by little our protagonist is leaving his comfort zone thanks to her and he helps her to have a good last few days. More than a love story between two people, as it can be believed in the beginning, I would prefer to think that it is going to be a story of overcoming.

    Foto 1.jpgSource

Although Sakura's death was somewhat unexpected, we knew she was going to pass away but not in such a sudden way as it happened to her, our protagonist said it “I was in the wrong place at the wrong time” and although it may have taken me by surprise, independent was going to have the same result. At that moment I thought about how one moment you are there and the next you are simply not, which reminds you of the beauty of living life through your different personal relationships, friends, partners, family, colleagues and all the rest, and that it is not really those who are no longer with us who die, but those who are forgotten. Therein lies the great detail of leaving a mark in the history of others

At the end we see that as everything, or at least what I understood, it was a plan or an intention of Sakura, who already had enough time observing our protagonist until she makes the decision to meet him and leave a mark on him, by the way, he himself says it to her when he is in the hospital and goes to visit her. For her part, Sakura gains a friend and sees how we are capable with small actions or giving the necessary attention to someone to transform lives with our essence and way of seeing the world, Sakura stands out in large groups but particularly did not, Haruki showed her the opposite.

    Foto 3.jpgSource

Undoubtedly, it is a movie that as it progresses teaches us how good it is to have people around, to have friends who care about you and you care about them, to leave a good with our essence in someone's life, to help someone to overcome at the same time that we achieve it since forming relationships is 50/50 of part and part.

A film that I recommend you to watch and pay close attention to every detail and see beyond what it shows us at first sight. If you have the opportunity to see it, believe me, you will not regret it. I invite you to leave your opinion about it, so we can exchange ideas about this amazing movie and the teaching that I leave you, without more to add, see you in a next opportunity : )

  3. 🎬 I Want to Eat Your Pancreas – The Search for Life on the Path of Death@psyberkid440d

    psyberkid(1).png

Hello everyone, hope your doing well and having wonderful time. Today I want to share a review of amazing and emotional movie name I Want to Eat Your Pancreas.

The main character of this story is Haruki Shiga. A talented but lonely high school student. He loves to read books but doesn't get along with anyone much and always hides his feelings. One day, while going to the library, he suddenly finds a diary called Living with Dying. The diary belonged to his classmate Sakura Yamauchi.

After reading the diary, he learns that Sakura is terminally ill, suffering from pancreatic cancer and has very little time to live. After learning this secret truth, Shiga's life begins to change. Sakura herself asks him to accompany her in the last days of her life.

Although Shiga feels a little uncomfortable at first, a deep relationship develops between them. Sakura was a lively, cheerful and fulfilled girl who did not want her death to be surrounded by pain and sorrow. They go out to eat and travel together, and each moment seems to light a new light in Sakura's life.

At one point, Shigeru develops feelings for Sakura but can never express them. Meanwhile, one day, Sakura dies not from cancer but from an accidental murder. Everyone around her thinks she died from her illness, but for Shigeru it was a terrible emotional shock.

Characters Sakura is a completely different character. She knows she will die but that doesn't let her lose interest in life. She wants each day to be meaningful. On the other hand, Shiga's son gradually learns to recognize his emotions under Sakura's influence, he learns how to make connections and how to feel.

Animation & Music The animation of the movie is eye-catching. Every scene, especially the moments between Sakura and the boy under the cherry blossoms, are wonderfully portrayed.

There is a great background score, which makes every emotion feel deeper. The songs "Fanfare" and "Himawari" from this movie are absolutely heart-wrenching.

My Thoughts This movie is not just a story of love or death. It is a story of finding the meaning of life. It teaches us that even though death is inevitable, life can be lived beautifully. Sakura shows us how to make every little moment joyful.

After many days, Sakura's mother gives Shigeru a letter in which Sakura writes that she loves Shigeru and wants to live for him. This letter changes Shigeru's heart. He gradually learns to communicate with people, learns to express his feelings, and begins to understand the importance of life.

Final Word Although this movie brought tears to our eyes, we felt a lot of pain, but we all know that Sakura truly enjoyed her life. We should learn from this that no matter how difficult it is, we will make this beautiful life enjoyable. We will try to turn every moment of it into joy.

Thanks you so much for reading. See you next :)

    My Explanation

I Want to Eat Your Pancreas is an emotional Japanese anime. This anime is basically a story of a relationship between a high school student and a sick girl. This anime discusses love, friendship, death, and the beauty of life at some moments. Although the title of this anime seems a little strange, it has a deep meaning. According to some Japanese customs, if someone eats someone's organs, their own strength will come inside them.

Sakura always wanted Shiga to remember her and this sentence symbolizes that deep connection. Sakura is a lively and always smiling girl. She knows that death is in front of her, but she still holds on to the love in her life. On the other hand, Shiga's character is quiet and lonely. He is a boy who is far from reality. But Sakura comes into his life and opens the door to his heart and brings joy to his life. The animation of this anime is very smooth and captivating, which creates a love in the hearts of anime fans. The use of colors in this anime was soft and the scenes were absolutely amazing.

Especially the scenes at the end of this anime were tear-jerking. The sound quality of this anime was very good, especially emotional and deepened the atmosphere of the story. I liked it a lot. Personally, I liked this anime a lot, but this army is really tear-jerking at the end. This anime is perfect for those who like emotional stories. I hope you like it. Looking for a romance anime packed with themes of overwhelming emotions? Then look no further than I WANT TO EAT YOUR PANCREAS. Based on a 2015 novel written by Yory sumino, Kimi no Suizo wa Tabetai is a Japanese anime film that was released in 2018. The anime tells the story of a boy in highschool who stumbled on the diary of his classmates by accident and discovers that she has a deadly illness. The girl Sakura Yamauchi has kept the secret hidden from the entire class so that she can keep living what's left of her life without people feeling sorry for her. The boy who found the diary is revealed to be Haruki Shiga, a boy who has a completely opposite personality compared to Sakura's cheerful and extroverted life style. He is usually quiet, prefers to be alone but despite their differences, the two are able to develop an unusual bond that transcends ordinary friendship. a href='https://www.pinterest.com/pin/583005114255751274/'>Image Source At the very beginning Haruki is reluctant about becoming friends with Sakura finding pleasure in solitude but after acting indifferent even after discovering about her terminal pancreatic illness his actions shocked Sakura who is used to people feeling sorry for her or avoid talking about her condition in general, she is moved which made her want to be friends with him even more and making Haruki promise not to tell any one to which after much persuasion agrees to Sakura's terms. The sudden closeness between both parties becomes the center of attention in school with Sakura's closest friends warning her about it because she believes that Haruki is a no good outsider but despite it all she still chooses to stay friends with Haruki chipping off the walls he built to keep people out bit by bit. They began to spend time together even going on a trip to the beach and Haruka soon discovers how full of life Haruka was despite having a limited time to live. a href=''https://www.pinterest.com/pin/583005114255751280/>Image Source

The bond grew exponentially to the extent that Haruki who once believed that emotions and relationship were unnecessary ends up feeling something really for Sakura going as far as wanting to protect her from the very fate that awaits even he knows he can't. One day, as Sakura and Haruki were both walking together after a fun day out, Sakura tells Haruki about an old Japanese belief when entails that if you eat the organ of a healthy person, you will end up with a healthy organ too. She then playfully says, "I want to eat your pancreas" meaning that she wishes to have a healthy organ so that she can live longer. a href='https://www.pinterest.com/pin/583005114255751254/'>Image Source With the bond ever growing, Sakura invites Haruka on a special dinner date. This makes Haruka extremely nervous as he plans to tell her about how he feels for her but Sakura never shows up . Later on that very night, Haruka discovers that Sakura has been stabbed to death by a random assailant from the local news. This shocking event caused Haruka to revert to his previous self, isolating himself from the rest of the world wondering why someone so full of life can disappear from the world in an instant. a href='https://www.pinterest.com/pin/583005114255751200/'>Image Source A few days later, Haruka receives a letter from Sakura's mom. The contents of the letter was filled with Sakura telling Haruka she had feelings for him all along with the intent to reveal all of it on the dinner date that never happened. She told him to live his life to the fullest even without her embracing all of life's ups and downs. Determined to honour her memory, Haruka begins to open himself to the world. He reaches out to Sakura's closest friend who hated him along showing her the diary and they both work things out. The movie ends with Haruka visiting Sakura's grave and though her life with him was short , she made a huge impact on him teaching him the importance of life, love and the importance of human relations.

I want to eat your pancreas is a story about living life to the fullest because of its unpredictability, bonding with people, love and romance.

  6. Discovering the Value of Life through 'I Want to Eat Your Pancreas@bhattg975d

I am not that fond of watching movies, but sometimes I watch a movie during the weekend. But many times it happens to me that after I finish watching a movie, I feel very useless because it feels like I spent so many hours talking about this movie. But after watching some movies, one feels that what is this, it is so much fun, some movies even make you cry. Yes, mostly I watch movies only after seeing the ratings, but still sometimes after watching the trailer, I feel restless and I am unable to stop myself.

We must watch some movies. If you like anime, then I can say with fondness that the movies that I will share with you will be liked by you. I mostly watch anime. If you like anime then you probably find other movies too dull, it happens to me that the same happens to you too. I prefer watching anime movies and seasons rather than normal movies.

    movie.jpg

Recently I watched an anime, yes I watched it for the second time. Its name is I Want to Eat Your Pancreas. If you have not seen this movie, then you will probably think from the name that this is a very strange movie. Believe me, if you watch this movie, you will cry. Its story is sad, but I am not unique, so I will cry too. it is a very emotional movie. I would recommend you to watch this movie. If you like anime movies, then I can say with certainty that you will like this movie.

It was not a love story but still, there are a lot of emotions involved in this movie and till the end, this movie makes you quite emotional. This movie is based on a boy and a girl, in which the boy is quite boring, he has no social life, while the girl is such that she gets along well with everyone and laughs with everyone. Also does. And the boy was the opposite of her, he did not see anything else other than books, and his entire life was spent only in books.

Once the boy and the girl accidentally meet and after that, the girl starts showing interest in the boy. Seeing this, the rest of the children in her class were a little surprised because it was very difficult for people to believe such a cheerful girl How could a girl fall in love with such a boring boy? But he was the only boy in the entire class who knew that she was going to do it in a few months. She did not want to tell other children of her class about this and people would look at her with sympathy. She knew that this boy did not talk to anyone in the class, so it was also right with whom she could share her things.

Believe me, how would you feel when you know that you are going to die? Yes, everyone will try to fulfill their last wishes and this girl also wanted to do the same but her mother was able to do it to a great extent. At first, the boy did not show interest in her, but as started spending time with her, gradually he too started getting interested in her. Both of them got used to each other and he was enough to fulfill the wishes of the girl. Used to go places and also used to do strange activities. But the girl knew that she was going to do it in a few months, yet she wanted to live the past day to the fullest instead of lying in bed dejected.

What would you do if you knew you were going to do it in a few months? Maybe at first you may get depressed and feel like not doing anything, but if you watch this movie, you will realize the different importance of life. And maybe after that you will look at life from a different perspective and you too will want to live to the fullest as long as you are alive. I found this movie quite emotional and I don't know how many times I cried, and the last few hours were quite emotional. I can say with confidence that if you watch this movie completely, you will cry at least once.

Anime Movie : Kimi No Suizou Wo Tabetai / I want to eat your pancreas

Released: 2018 IMDB rating: 8/10 Personal Rating: 9/10

    !! SPOLER ALERT !!

An introvert boy Haruki, while waiting in the hospital, finds a notebook of a diseased girl Sakura suffering from Pancreatic disorder. While going through the notebook, the girl arrives and feels shy seeing him to read the book. Later on, they discover that they belong to same class but didn't know each other. After a few days, they met again in a library where Haruki used to work. Sakura went over there, asked him to be her friend and informed him of her diseases for which she won't survive much long. She asks him to help her to fulfill her dreams to do before she die. image.png

Being moved by her, Haruki helps her in her doings and gradually fell in love with her. Getting to know about his loving, the best friend of Sakura, Kyoko asks him to stay away from her, informing that she is too much sensitive. Haruki decides not to express his love to her and continued their friendship. Suddenly she fell ill and admitted into a hospital. Then she said him on his visit that her last wish was to see fireworks with him on a hill. Haruki managed her to flee from the hospital and took her to the hill where they enjoyed the fireworks together. image.png

The next day, when she was released from the hospital and was on the way to meet Haruki, she was brutally stabbed and killed by an extremist. Haruki came to know about it, became extremely depressed and attended her funeral where her mother provided him with the notebook .While going through it, she found out the last words he texted her on the phone were the same she wrote on her notebook for him, though they didn't know about the other's facts. At this, the heart of Haruki really broke and he repented for not exposing his love After a year of her death, Haruki goes to the grave of Sakura with Kyoko and paid their homage, and fulfilling her wish of them being good friends. image.png

l may have written down the whole story provably. but while l was writing about it , my heart aches . lt still hurt talking or writing or hearing about it .

The movie is said to be one of the most emotional romantic anime ever released. The songs, plot, art all together worked to turn it into a masterpiece. If you are too much emotional, for sure it is going to melt you totally down.

    OPINION

I want to eat your pancreas is a movie that I wanted to see for a while, although I'm not a fan of romantic stories, Asian productions can create a feeling of love or sadness so easily with their stories that I can't help but watch this movie of one hour and forty-eight minutes shows you a story that, although you know how it will end, ends up hitting you differently.

Something that can always be criticized about animated productions is the quality of their animation, but for me, that's not everything, although this movie has normal animation, with backgrounds that are not as striking as can be found in any other animation, its strong point is the story of how a boy locked in his own life opens with a girl whose life is about to end.

More than seeing it as a love story, of couples, it is a friendship story, and something that cannot be overcome so quickly is the loss of a loved one who was your friend, breaking up or losing a friendship relationship can be harder than breaking up with a love relationship, and here this feeling shows. Some may see it as a love story, but it may strike differently if you see it as a friendship story. What would you do if your only friend died?

The story has an interesting background, when it is said that the protagonist will die in a while, it is like living in fear that she may spend that same day or the next, doing; possibly a reference, that although we know we will die at some point in our lives, it may not be when we decide or are told it will be. Even the name of the film is striking due to a belief that is explained in the story, it could be that it does not become as recognized as expected, but without a doubt it is a story that ends up being interesting, beautiful and entertaining. Without a doubt, I recommend it.
