In Search of Happiness

Today I want to talk to you about a movie that inspires, that impacts us in a positive way in our lives, it is the movie Pursuit of Happiness and I can tell you friends that every time I watch this movie I learn many lessons about perseverance. It is an emotional film that presents the story of a man who seeks his well-being and that of his son, overcoming the adversities that come his way. It is directed by Gabriele Muccino and stars Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith, one of the peculiarities of this film is that it is based on real events, because of this it becomes even more interesting, as you can feel a little more the perception of the parents.

Hoy quiero hablarles de una película que inspira, que nos impacta de manera positiva en nuestras vidas, se trata de la película En busca de la felicidad amigos les cuento que cada vez que veo esta película disfruto y aprendo mucho de ella, esas lecciones sobre perseverancia que nos deja es muy motivadora. Creo que es una película emotiva que presenta la historia de un hombre que busca su bienestar y el de su hijo, superando las adversidades que se le presentan. Está dirigida por Gabriele Muccino y protagonizada por Will Smith y su hijo Jaden Smith, una de las peculiaridades de esta película es que está basada en hechos reales, debido a esto se vuelve aún más interesante, ya que puedes sentir un poco más la percepción de los padres.

I tell you friends that every time I see this movie I fall more in love with it, because it leaves us many teachings, being one of my favorite phrases: "never give up", with this phrase shows us that determination and persistence are essential to overcome the adversities that are presented to us in life. Another thing I like about this movie is that it shows the reality that many people pursue "happiness".

Les cuento amigos que cada vez que veo esta película me enamoro más de ella, porque nos deja muchas enseñanzas, siendo una de mis frases favoritas: "nunca te rindas", con esta frase nos muestra que la determinación y la persistencia son fundamentales para superar las adversidades que se nos presentan en la vida. Otra cosa que me gusta de esta película es que muestra la realidad de que muchas personas persiguen la "felicidad".

In Search of Happiness is a film that tells the story of a father who struggles with his son to survive. So Chris, who is a machine salesman, decides to try his luck as a stockbroker and joins the company for a six-month unpaid internship. Chris's difficult economic situation, living with his wife Linda who is fed up with him working without pay, makes her tired of this situation and she stops believing in her husband's ability to survive and decides to abandon him and their young son Christopher. From that moment on, Chris wanders with his son on a path of misery in which he does not do well and discovers that the little money he earns is not enough to pay the rent, bills, school fees for his son, but one day he meets a man on the road who inspires him.

En busca de la felicidad, es una pelicula que cuenta la historia de un padre que lucha con su hijo por sobrevivir. Así que Chris, que es vendedor de maquinaria, decide probar suerte como agente de bolsa y se incorpora a la empresa para realizar unas prácticas no remuneradas de seis meses. La difícil situación económica de Chris, que vive con su mujer Linda que está harta de que trabaje sin cobrar, hace que ella se canse de esta situación y deje de creer en la capacidad de su marido para sobrevivir y decide abandonarlo a él y a su hijo pequeño Christopher. A partir de ese momento, Chris peregrina con su hijo por un camino de miseria en el que no le va bien y descubre que el poco dinero que gana no es suficiente para pagar el alquiler, las facturas, los gastos escolares de su hijo, pero un día se encuentra con un hombre en el camino que le inspira.

Chris tries everything he can to get a job so he can have a roof over his head and a place to live with his son. Eventually, Chris discovers that the position he holds will not give him financial credit, but he does not give up and tries to find a better life for himself and his son. In this struggle to get a job, the father jeopardizes his son's well-being, exposing him to various difficult situations. But in the midst of this suffering and pain, he ends up demonstrating that one can choose paths that, despite the pain and struggle, lead to a happy ending.

Chris intenta por todos los medios conseguir un trabajo para poder tener un techo y un lugar donde vivir con su hijo. Con el tiempo, Chris descubre que el puesto que ocupa no le dará crédito financiero, pero no se rinde e intenta encontrar una vida mejor para él y su hijo. En esta lucha por conseguir un trabajo, el padre pone en peligro el bienestar de su hijo, exponiéndole a diversas situaciones difíciles. Pero en medio de este sufrimiento y dolor, acaba demostrando que se pueden elegir caminos que, a pesar del dolor y la lucha, conducen a un final feliz.

Another lesson that I have also learned with this movie is that when you want it you can, because in life when we want something we always persist to get things, because we really want that thing to happen in some way or another, the way of power we have is incredible and more when children are the means of attraction of the parents. Many times we believe that things will not happen according to what we need but if we ask with faith the universe and God will reward our thoughts and dreams, faith is something incredible to achieve and once we have it we learn to use it wisely.

Otra lección que también he aprendido con esta película es que cuando se quiere se puede, porque en la vida cuando queremos algo siempre nos empeñamos en conseguir las cosas, porque realmente queremos que esa cosa suceda de alguna u otra manera, la forma de poder que tenemos es increíble y más cuando los hijos son el medio de atracción de los padres. Muchas veces creemos que las cosas no sucederán de acuerdo a lo que necesitamos pero si pedimos con fe el universo y Dios recompensaran nuestros pensamientos y sueños, la fe es algo increíble de lograr y una vez que la tenemos aprendemos a usarla sabiamente.

In Search of Happiness, this film is and will be an adventure of opportunity for all parents, which teaches the love for being parents and what they are capable of doing for their children, to avoid suffering and tragedies in the long run; in addition, in this film, values such as patience, overcoming and perseverance are present and serve as inspiration for us. In Search of Happiness opens a door of learning to make us understand that life is a valuable treasure that we must take care of, especially if they are our children.

En busca de la felicidad, esta película es y será una aventura de oportunidad para todos los padres, que enseña el amor por ser padres y lo que son capaces de hacer por sus hijos, para evitar a la larga sufrimientos y tragedias; además, en esta película, los valores como la paciencia, la superación y la perseverancia están presentes y nos sirven de inspiración. En busca de la felicidad abre una puerta de aprendizaje para darnos a entender que la vida es un valioso tesoro que debemos cuidar y más si son nuestros hijos.

I can call this film the door to happiness because it opens our eyes to the reality of life that many parents go through today and the way to get ahead with faith and perseverance in what we want.

Puedo llamar a esta película la puerta de la felicidad porque nos abre los ojos a la realidad de la vida por la que pasan muchos padres hoy en día y la forma de salir adelante con fe y perseverancia en lo que queremos.
