Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well. Today I am sharing my review of an anime based on a different real life story called Servant x Service. It is all about government office work, funny colleagues and their strange personal life stories. I hope you enjoy it.
Story Summary
The story is about three new officials, Lucy Yamagami, Yutaka Hasebe and Saya Miyoshi, who come to work at a government ward office in Japan. Lucy is a very long and embarrassing name given to her by a government official at birth. Lucy joins the job just to find that official and question him.
Yutaka is a carefree, lazy and shameless lover who loves to tease Lucy, while Saya is a polite but overwhelmed girl who deals with the overly talkative citizens. Their caretaker, kind but often stressed out because she has to juggle both office work and her younger sister. The slow pace of the office, the filling out of forms, the strange questions of senior citizens and the funny antics of her colleagues all combine to make their daily lives sometimes funny, sometimes embarrassing and sometimes a little emotional. It teaches you how to balance work and personal life.
In particular, Lucy and Haseba gradually form a friendship and a sweet love affair develops. Each character discovers more about themselves and others, which makes the story more interesting.
My Review
This anime is very realistic, calm and full of heart-touching comedy. Here, government office work is seen so beautifully, funny and relationship-oriented in very few animes. Lucy's simplicity and Haseba's flirtatious nature create many laugh-out-loud moments.
The best part of this anime is that even the smallest incidents here are found to be similar to life. There are no major plot twists, but each episode will make you laugh and sometimes even think a little. Even the quiet moments seem meaningful. It was very wonderful.
