Hello friends, I'm here with another interesting movie title Kings man and I would like to share you with here.

The movie is about, During the early days of the 20th century, a powerful group wants to plunge the world into war.

An independent intelligence agency must work relentlessly in the shadows to foil their sinister plans.

It begins Nearing the end of the Second Boer War, British aristocrat Orlando, Duke of Oxford, his wife Emily, and their young son Conrad visit a refugee camp in South Africa while working for the British Red Cross.

Emily is mortally wounded during a Boer sniper attack on the camp. Before dying, she makes Orlando promise never to let their son see war again.

Twelve years later, Orlando has formed a private spy network of domestic servants, including his butler, Shola and maid, Polly Wilkins, employed by the world's most powerful dignitaries.

Conrad is eager to fight, but Orlando forbids him to join the British Army and persuades Lord Kitchener, Secretary of State for war, not to let him do so.

At Kitchener's request, Conrad and Orlando ride with Orlando's friends, Archduke Fran’s Ferdinand of Austria and his wife Sophie, Duchess of Hohenberg, through Sarajevo.

Conrad saves the Archduke from a bomb thrown by Gavrilo Princip, a Serbian intent on sparking a war.

Princip later reencounters the Archduke's entourage by chance and fatally shoots him and his wife.

Orlando learns that the assassination was orchestrated by “The Flock”: a group plotting to pit the German, Russian, and British empires against each other.

The Flock is led by the mysterious “Shepherd”, whose ultimate goal is Scottish independence; his operatives include Russian mystic Grigori Rasputin, trusted adviser to Tsar Nicholas of Russia.

Rasputin poisons Nicholas's young son Alexei, only to cure him when Nicholas promises to pull out of the war.

Conrad is notified of Rasputin's manipulation by his cousin, Prince Felix Yusupov.

Knowing the Western Front will be left vulnerable if Russia exits the war, Conrad delivers this information to Kitchener and his aide-de-camp Major Max Morton, who set sail for Russia.

Their ship, HMS Hampshire, is torpedoed by a submarine and sunk.

Word of Kitchener's death reaches Orlando, spurring him to travel to Russia with Shola, Polly, and Conrad to kill Rasputin.

After a grueling fight, Orlando, Shola, Conrad, and Polly kill Rasputin at a Christmas party hosted by Felix.

To keep the United States from entering the war, Erik Jan Hanussen, an adviser to Kaiser Wilhelm II, sends the Zimmermann Telegram, encouraging Mexico to invade the United States.

Although British Intelligence intercepts the message, Polly deciphers it, but American President Woodrow Wilson refuses to join the war, citing a lack of concrete proof.

The Shepherd recruits Vladimir Lenin to overthrow the Tsar and remove Russia from the war, sending an assassin to execute the Romanov family.

Conrad is commissioned into the Grenadier Guards against his father's wishes.

King George V arranges to have Conrad assigned to London.

Determined to fight in the war, Conrad swaps places with a Scottish soldier named Archie Reid, giving him the nickname “Lancelot” to send his father a message.

Disguised as Archie, a member of the Black watch, Conrad volunteers for a mission into no Man’s land to retrieve information from a British agent wounded there.

Upon his return, a fellow soldier who knows Archie accuses him of being a German spy and shoots him dead, devastating Orlando.

The information he recovered verifies the authenticity of the Zimmermann Telegram.

After Wilson again refuses to enter the war despite Conrad's proof, Orlando learns that the President is being blackmailed with footage of being seduced by the Shepherd's agent, Mata Hari, and resolves to recover the original negatives.

Upon defeating Mata Hari at the American embassy, Orlando has her cashmere scarf identified, and Orlando, Shola, and Polly locates its origin.

Orlando parachutes onto the mountaintop sanctuary of the Shepherd, who is revealed to be Morton.

Morton had arranged Kitchener's assassination and faked his death.

Orlando fights and kills Morton, with the help of Shola. Polly recovers the film, which is delivered to Wilson.

Wilson burns it and brings the United States into the war.

Find out what happened next as he burns it and brings the United States into the war as it gets interesting.

    Thanks for reading my post.

  2. Kingsman, the irregular perfect action trilogy.@richardalexis1575d

When I think of "action" as a genre, a definition that is too broad for its own good comes to my mind, referring to all those films in which the spectacle has primacy over any type of substantial drama, ironically I think that this stigma that i have imposed many times limits my own ability to enjoy certain films that can be pigeonholed within that genre.

What is the positive side of all this? That every time I manage to enjoy an action movie I know that I am seeing a work of art, either because of its undeniable ability to entertain me or because in its entrails it hides much more depth than it appears.

This is where Kingsman comes in, a series of films that began in 2015 with The Secret Service, inspired by the comic of the same name created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar in 2012.

Under the direction of Matthew Vaughn (who, by the way, already had the opportunity to adapt another Millar comic a couple of years ago with the excellent Kick-Ass) The Secret Service tells us an elegant and unbridled story where we see the operation of a secret organization that operates above the confines of the world government in London.

    kingsman1_aqi5uvc.jpg Source

Kingsman begins by showing us the clumsy beginnings of Gary Eggsy in the organization (as a result of the fact that his father was originally part of it and died) and opens before our eyes a quite fascinating plot that mixes the elegance that comes with espionage with hints of black comedy... and satires on Western society in the 21st century.

However, the truly magnetic aspect of Kingsman lies not so much in its scathing critiques of American and European culture, but rather in its snappy visual presentation, sweetened with a fairly classy cast Taron Egerton, Colin Firth

Although there are many critics of Kick-Ass and its abilities to be a decent adaptation, Vaughn's managed to bring the comic pages to real life, something that is considerably improved in Kingsman, Ralph Fiennes and Mark Strong.

Unafraid to accept his playful nature, Kingsman is riddled with irreverent moments, eschewing any sort of pretentious attitude in a situation where it would obviously do more harm than good.

Each action scene is shot in an indescribable style, totally ignoring artificial cuts and letting the camera roll organically between their well-constructed choreographies, each shot, each blow, each stab, everything works in harmony to provide a visual spectacle, which it is only enhanced by the solid characters that cloud each part of this irregular trilogy.

What do I mean irregular? Well, The Golden Circle (The sequel to The Secret Service released in 2017) seems to polish the development of the action segments in very creative ways, but also abandons many of the aspects that made Kingsman such a spectacular work.

    56979_big.jpg Source

It's a trade off where whether or not it's worth it is entirely subjective, though I personally enjoyed this sequel.

And the third part? It complicates the whole thing a little more when it comes to public perception.

Released less than a year ago: The Kings Man: The first Mision takes a totally different approach, serving as something of a prequel and standalone story at the same time, giving us an origins story that takes advantage of the First World War as its backdrop.

The interesting thing about The Kings Man is that it dares to drastically change the tone to which the two previous films had accustomed us, preserving that: quality action.

    6307.jpg Source

The funny thing is that although this prequel was a box office failure, I feel that it is the main reason for Kingsman becoming one of my favorite action movie series: it has the courage to take risks, it is not satisfied with following industry standards. and while the results are mixed, it's always fascinating to see what they come up with next.

So, returning to the starting point of this post, Kingsman very effectively represents a value of the genre that often goes unnoticed: versatility, there are many projects that mix action and entertainment with other elements: romance, terror, drama... and for every generic film like Fast And The Furious or Red Notice, there are others like Nobody, John Wick or Kingsman, willing to go the extra mile to deliver an experience that is not only entertaining, but has genuine artistic value.

  3. (ESP-ENG) Un pequeño repaso a la historia con Kingsman // A short review of history with Kingsman.@javyeslava.photo1589d

    **

Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos.

    **

Hello friends, good vibes to all.

    Source!

Yesterday and in my usual quest for wanting to see a movie that catches my attention I decided to take a look at the new installment of the Kingsman saga despite how much I have read and have been told that this new story was not worth it. In general I am not a person who gets carried away by movie reviews, although I do read them, because I believe that tastes are very subjective and that opinions are always going to be tied to them.

The previous films have not been bad and I thought this one could not be different, hence my decision to give it a chance and watch it. As expected I liked this film quite a lot, I don't know if it will be the best of the three, but it entertained me and the fact that they used history to their advantage was something really good, I say this as a fan and lover of universal history. So without further ado, let's talk about the beginnings of this famous organization.

In this opportunity we move to the time of the First World War where countries like Germany, England, Russia and the United States are on edge before a possible war. The question is that behind all this is a group which is formed by tyrants and the most macabre and criminal minds in the world, including the famous and controversial Rasputin (Rhys Ifans), who will be pulling the necessary strings to trigger a war that will eventually kill thousands of people.

That's where the Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) comes in, along with his son and protégé Conrad (Harris Dickinson) to try to prevent this from happening, all with the help of Shola (Djimon Hounsou) and Polly (Gemma Arterton) who are the Duke's faithful assistants. From here begins a chess game full of action, because there is, to understand and discover who or who is behind the plot.

These films have always been characterized by having action in their DNA and this installment is no exception to that rule, but it is a measured and calm action, not one without head or feet. This is accompanied by the intrigue factor as we are in the middle of a worldwide investigation which makes the interest and expectation never wanes and is a constant in the more than two hours that the film lasts.

As I said, one of the things I liked the most was the historical element; the references to the Romanov dynasty, the era of the Kaisers in Germany, the conflicts of interest between the countries involved that led to blackmail, are details that in my opinion give much value to the plot and therefore make it much more interesting. And if that were not enough, within all that context there is an integration of a very black and acid comedy that gives a touch of relaxation to the film.

    Source!

But if we have to talk about a character that despite being a "secondary" one takes all the limelight is Rasputin. In real life he was a very peculiar character, sinister and strange to say the least and that he has been interpreted in the way Rhys Ifans did it is a real masterpiece. Plus the scenes and transitions where he appears I think are some of the best in the whole movie. He was a very uncomfortable person and certainly that's what came across on screen, I really enjoyed that performance.

    Source!

In the same way we have to talk about Ralph Fiennes, a person at almost 60 years old that plays a role like the one he did, where clearly a certain physical effort was required, is something that we should take into account and appreciate, since on the acting side there is not much to say, he is a very good actor and in this film that is not a factor that is of much weight.

In conclusion, this is a film that if we put together all the little parts necessary for a film to be good, not extraordinary, Kingsman certainly falls into that category. The critics have been very diverse with it so in the end what can be said is that you either enjoy it or hate it, but it seems that there are no grays here. Personally I enjoyed it, I never saw the time which for me is a thermometer to know if I'm liking or not a movie; good action scenes, an interesting plot, decent performances, nothing more to say.

A 7.5/10 because as I said, it's not epic or out of this world but it's very watchable and enjoyable. You can watch it on Star+ or Disney Plus depending on where you are and it's a little over two hours long. As usual I leave the trailer for you to take a look.

    ***

    ***

Well friends that's all for today, I hope you liked it. ¡A hug to all, see you next time!
