Esta parte de la serie envía un mensaje significativo: cuando tenemos en nuestras manos la vida de miles de personas, debemos actuar en consecuencia para poder salvarlas.

La actuación que más me gustó fue la de Amund Harboe como Erik. Su personaje tenía problemas psicológicos debido a que ya había vivido la experiencia de un tsunami y, dramáticamente, él vio cómo sus padres morían. El aspecto que no me gustó fue la supervivencia de Sara y Charlie. Muy poco creíble que un tsunami ocurra, se lleve un avión y la mayoría se ahogue y ellas sobrevivan junto a un par de personas. Irreal, las probabilidades de supervivencia son muy bajas. ¡Poco creíble a mi modo de ver! Fue un intento fallido que descomponía el centro y la argumentación sólida de la historia.
En cuanto al mensaje, es muy bueno. Hay mucha unidad familiar; la trama representa muy bien el valor de la familia. La comprensión que todo joven desea de sus padres al hablar sobre qué tipo de vida desea y de quién le gusta. También se muestra en las escenas de manera repetida el sentimiento de arrepentimiento y culpa por la pérdida familiar. Dramático, pero sutil y envolvente.
Las imágenes naturales de La Palma son hermosas y te hacen querer ir a visitar la isla. Claro, deseando que en la vida real no ocurra un acontecimiento natural como ese. La historia, por lo general, está bien diseñada y no deja de ser algo ya visto en muchas producciones, pero resulta encantadora por los mensajes y elementos que la caracterizan.
