I recently discovered this documentary on Netflix. Although it doesn't rely heavily on CGI, it attempts to accurately depict the course of life on our planet. I think we've all watched a documentary at some point, as it's a very diverse genre that always aims to be informative about a specific topic. Which reminds me that the last one I watched was about Amy Winehouse, focusing on her final years before her death.
Recientemente, descubrí este documental en Netflix, uno que, a pesar de que no tiene escenas grabadas generalmente, sino que tiene bastante CGI, trata de mostrarnos con la mejor exactitud cómo ha sido el transcurso de la vida en nuestro planeta. Creo que todos en algún momento hemos visto algún documental, ya que este es un género de televisión que es demasiado diverso y que siempre trata de ser un programa informativo sobre algún tema en específico. Lo que me recuerda que el último que vi fue uno sobre Amy Winehouse que hablaba sobre cómo fue su última etapa, antes de su muerte.

Bueno, este documental que hoy te quiero presentar se llama “Life on our Planet”. Esta nos explica con la evidencia científica que existe desde cómo se originó la vida de nuestro planeta hasta el día de hoy. Muy interesante de escuchar, en especial que en su idioma original tenemos a Morgan Freeman como el narrador de este épico documental. Por otro lado, la dirección de mano de Steven Spielberg es solo un dato que también anima a ver un documental, ya que estos, al ser profesionales en lo que hacen, pues tiene demasiada lógica que esta tenga la calidad que lleva.
Life on Our Planet stands out with its visuals; it truly shows us both the wild and the beautiful aspects of our existence as living beings. A highly educational documentary, its epic scenes captivate you with their satisfying narration and well-planned transitions, effectively depicting each era of Earth's history. What intrigues me is that there has always been some disaster that wiped out those beings believed to have been dominant species, but these are the workings of nature that, at some point, reveal their grandeur, like the era when all the volcanoes erupted, resulting in one of the greatest mass extinctions in history.
Life on Our Planet destaca con sus imágenes; realmente nos muestra tanto el lado salvaje, pero también el hermoso de nuestra existencia como seres vivientes. Un documental altamente educativo que con sus escenas épicas llama tu atención con su narración muy satisfactoria y transiciones muy bien planeadas para contar adecuadamente cada era que ha vivido el planeta Tierra. Lo que me da curiosidad es que siempre hubo algún desastre que terminó con aquellos seres que se cree que fueron dominadores como especies vivas, pero son cosas de la naturaleza que en algún momento muestran su grandeza, como una era en la que todos los volcanes hicieron erupción, siendo una de las mayores extinciones que han existido.
I'm only on the fifth episode, which covers the age of the dinosaurs and their arrival and evolution, right before the meteorite. I honestly don't know if it will go all the way to the present day, but logically, they're telling a story about life on the planet, and obviously, I hope it continues that way. On another note, I'm really excited; while I knit a bit, listening to and watching these documentaries has been a great way to pass the time these last few nights. It's been very relaxing; it's been a while since I've watched a documentary, and this one is a really good way to get back into the genre. I already have others marked on my list that I hope to watch soon.
Yo apenas voy por el quinto episodio, en donde ya están en la era de los dinosaurios y cómo fue su llegada y evolución, justo antes del meteorito. Realmente desconozco si esta llegará hasta la época actual, pero según mi lógica, estos están mostrando una historia que habla sobre la vida en el planeta y, obviamente, espero que así se muestre. Por otro lado, me mantengo muy emocionada; mientras tejo un poco, escuchar y ver un poco sobre estos documentales ha sido un buen pasatiempo que he tenido estas últimas noches. Me ha sido muy relajante; realmente tenía algo de tiempo que no veía algún documental y este sí que es uno muy bueno para adentrarme de nuevo en este género; ya tengo otras marcadas que espero ver pronto.
