Hello friends of #hive and especially the Movies&TvShows community, as always, I hope you are all well, as are your families and friends. Today I'm here to talk to you about the second part of a series that I really liked, I'm talking about "Lucifer" in its second season, which caught my attention from the very first minute, so I continued with the saga.

    1000200981.jpg

    Sources

This second season of "Lucifer" reinforces the mix of police crime and devilish fable that we saw in the first season, while maintaining the humor and sharp dialogue, as well as bringing us a stronger mythology. In general, this second season pushes Lucifer Morningstar to face not only the cases of the week, but also the consequences of his own existence, as he sometimes wonders what would happen if he chose to stay on Earth.

    1000200979.jpg

In this second part of the series, Lucifer's willingness to remain on Earth is put to the test, deepening his doubts about his identity and his desire for responsibility, forcing him to confront his relationship with power, guilt, and the possibility of redemption, which adds a layer of suspense that keeps the pace going in each episode.

In this part, Chloe Decker continues to be the emotional anchor of the story. Her relationship with Lucifer becomes more complicated and mature, as she is not just a detective curious about a supernatural being, but a companion who understands the cracks in his recent personal history. The scenes between Tom Ellis and Lauren German stand out for their mix of romantic tension; the chemistry between the two characters is one of the forces that sustains much of the season, showing moments of genuine vulnerability in the series.

Another character who changes roles this season is Maze, as she embarks on a journey toward identity and independence that separates her from simply guarding and caring for Lucifer. In the plot that drives her, her search for purpose and loyalty to Lucifer is at odds with his decisions, generating clashes and reconciliations that enrich the dynamics between the characters.

    1000200976.jpg

On the other hand, Amenadiel continues to serve as a moral counterpoint and brotherly confidant to Lucifer, whose dilemmas and sense of duty add weight to the story, reminding us that heavenly duty can also clash with personal desires. Linda is another character who, as always, offers emotional relief and a clinical perspective that balances fantasy and reality. Her sessions and advice provide an increasingly complex human perspective, reminding us that mental health is as real as the city of Los Angeles that frames each case.

    1000200980.jpg

Another notable aspect of the series is that it maintains the dialogue writing and stylized form that characterizes Lucifer, with warm colors, elegant shots, and a soundtrack that alternates between contemporary sounds and tense guitar riffs. However, some episodes feel less successful in their mix of weekly cases and narrative, with the progression seeming somewhat uneven at times.

    1000200977.jpg

    Sources

In short, season 2 of Lucifer is a continuation of the first season that raises the emotional tone and moral complexity of the show, without abandoning its characteristic humor. So if you like stories that combine humor, crime, and a bit of devilish mythology, this series offers enough twists, revelations, and character development to justify its fans' obsession and attract new viewers interested in a contemporary fantasy with good dialogue and a surprising human heart. So without further ado, I bid you farewell and highly recommend it. Blessings.

Bendiciones.

  2. About the series "Lucifer" season one // Acerca de la serie "Lucifer" primera temporada@mariolisrnaranjo179d

    1000192272.jpg

Hello friends of #hive, and especially the Movies&TVshows community. I haven't been here for a few days, but today I'm back with a review of a series that I really liked. I'm only on the first season and I'm already eager to see the other two. I'm talking about the series "Lucifer," a very appealing and entertaining show that mixes countless nuances such as police mystery and religious fantasy in a glamorous nighttime setting in the city of Los Angeles.

    1000192278.jpg

    Sources

The essence of this series is as simple as it is powerful, as the plot unfolds with the devil leaving Hell and, bored with the rules of heaven, settling in Los Angeles as the owner of the Lux club, and in the process, exploring the freedom to decide his own destiny. From there, the series turns the character of Lucifer Morningstar into a kind of antihero with many facets of charisma and, at the same time, an irreverent character who, surprisingly taking human form, is able to generate sympathy among people without losing his air of divine authority.

    1000192273.jpg

    Sources

The great achievement of this first season is Tom Ellis' voice and charisma, as Lucifer is humorous, seductive, and at the same time vulnerable, someone who refuses to admit moral limits at all costs. His chemistry with Lauren German, who plays detective Chloe Decker, is the emotional driving force behind this season, as Chloe acts as a kind of earthly anchor for him. On the other hand, Chloe is a skeptical character with an intuition that seems to challenge even Lucifer himself. The fusion between two such different characters, an all-knowing being and a human who doubts and feels and who is also a shield, as his charms are useless with her, builds dramatic tension and is the most beautiful part that sustains the series episode after episode.

    1000192279.jpg

    Sources

In this series, the setting is another thing that is luxurious, the night scenes of Los Angeles, the luxurious aesthetics of the Lux club, and the soundtrack with pop touches create a sophisticated and addictive atmosphere and environment, where the city is not just another backdrop, but shines so brightly that it seems like another character in the series, which features splendid locations where Lucifer can show himself as a god of deception or, sometimes, simply as a man who wants to be understood.

    1000192274.jpg

    Sources

This series has moments of humor and tenderness, which help it avoid taking itself too seriously, without losing its ability to raise serious moral dilemmas. Each episode aims to uncover the mysteries of each case, where Lucifer can show his particular talent for detecting lies, manipulating the people he interrogates, and helping those who are suffering.

    1000192276.jpg

    Sources

In this series, we also see moments of questioning about identity, guilt, and redemption between Lucifer and the other characters, which enrich the context of the series and bring to light different nuances, ranging from humor to the tension between loyalties and impossible destinies. In some episodes of the series, the cases feel repetitive, and certain twists do not always live up to expectations, but nothing beats the chemistry between the protagonists to overshadow these minor details.

    1000192275.jpg

    Sources

The mythology explored throughout the series begins to hint at big themes about divine authority and personal freedom, although the truth is that it is not that profound and is still in its early stages, and may seem superficial to those looking for a more mature exploration of these ideas. However, I cannot deny that I personally loved this series, as the small details that might minimize it are nothing compared to the plot and the good performances of its protagonists and all the other actors in general.

    1000192280.jpg

    Sources

In short, the first season of Lucifer is an attractive and accessible production that presents an irresistibly human Lucifer and a Chloe Decker who defies his charm. It's a rich blend of humor, pace, and mystery that works especially well for those looking for light entertainment with layers of meaning. So, friends, if you're attracted to a fusion of crime and fantasy, with humorous dialogue and an unforgettable protagonist, this is the series you should look for, as I highly recommend it. Blessings to all and happy new year.

  3. Movie Review: Lucifer~ A Devilishly Human Story@seunruth374d

I didn’t expect to fall in love with the Devil.😂

Honestly, when I first saw Lucifer pop up on Netflix, I ignored it. The name felt dark and I thought to myself “this movie is diabolical 😁. People were talking against it a lot. Some says it would make you lose your faith in God and introduce you to those dark kingdoms. I won't lie, I believed it and kept far away from this movie.

It was trending, some people watched it and said it was interesting but I already removed my mind from the thought of watching it.

After some months, I came across it again and this time noticed it. I decided to watch it and see what this movie is actually all about.

I thought it was going to be another stereotypical fantasy show full of demons, fire, and horror—something too far from reality. I found myself face-to-face with a character I never thought I’d relate to: Lucifer Morningstar, the Devil himself. I said to myself “ This Lucifer is so handsome, Does the devil really look like this?” 🥹

He was the opposite of what I imagined him to be.

Lucifer is not merely a movie about the ruler of Hell. It is a multi-layered, emotional, and in some parts, even hilarious story of pain, redemption, love, and forgiveness, as well as the journey to find a truth in a world that does not always provide it.

Lucifer is based on the life of Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who gets bored with life at the throne of Hell. So he goes on vacation and comes to Los Angeles so he can live a bit. He establishes an expensive night club named Lux, goes out partying every night and indulges in life.

However, this is different when a murder occurs in front of his club. He gets in collaboration with LAPD detective Chloe Decker to assist in solving the case. A one-time affair becomes a full-time collaboration, as Lucifer gets hired as a civilian consultant of the police.

And now this: the Devil exercising his powers to punish wicked folks--in Hell, but in current-day L.A. It is that twist that got me hooked. But it was not the story that kept me watching.

The humor was the first impression that came to my mind. Lucifer is sarcastic, witty and has good one-liners. His British accent, dashing smirk and overly exaggerated personality were so entertaining. However, as the show progressed, I came to understand that something was more than what meets the eye.

    Lucifer is suffering.

Beneath the flirting and the jokes is a very broken person, fighting rejections, guilt and the ultimate question: Am I lovable?

Every episode does not only involve a crime-solving mystery; it is a part of the personal story of Lucifer. He is doubtful of his identity. He fights with his past. He seeks meaning. and somehow, in all of this, he starts to change.

Every episode does not only present a mystery to solve regarding a crime but also is a part of Lucifer himself. He doubts who he is. He fights with his own past. He seeks meaning. and out of all this he starts to change.

I experienced that as an audience.

We all put on masks, don t we? We all act like we are okay when we are not. We all question whether we are good, whether we are lovable, whether people actually see us as we are, or rather the way they would like to be.

The conflict of Lucifer was my reflection.

Such subtle, beautiful ways of dealing with big questions are one of the strongest aspects of Lucifer.

Lucifer is a person with the problem of guilt not only because he is the Devil, but also because of the opinions of people about him. Throughout his life, he has been accused of evil, when he never coerced anyone to sin. He simply penalized them. That iniquity consumes him.

It also reminded me about the frequency at which people are labeled in the real world- due to their history, due to their family, due to their errors. We wear those labels as chains. But Lucifer reminds us: you are not what people tell you are. You become what you want to be.

And there is Chloe- the love interest of Lucifer and a crime solving partner. She is kind, courageous and imperfect. She is not attracted to Lucifer at first sight. On the contrary, she looks through him. And he is terrified by it. What is real love? The type that sees through the performance and into your soul? That is the most frightful of all.

It was one of the best things about the show, to see their relationship develop, painfully, slowly, and beautifully. It was not in a hurry. It was not perfect. It was, however, genuine.

At some point I was laughing so much that I had to stop the episode.

And there were moments I felt bad, deeply—especially during episodes where Lucifer confronts his father, God, or struggles to make peace with himself.

One particular scene stuck with me. Lucifer is on his knees, broken, saying: "I am the Devil. And I just want to be... good."

That moment hit me like a punch in the chest. Because that’s all most of us want, right? To be better. To be enough. To be seen, not as our failures, but as someone trying.

This movie really got me thinking “What if the devil really wanted a chance to be good?” What if …….?

I was not left empty after I finished reading Lucifer as I normally do after reading a long series. I was stuffed. My mind was full. Emotional. Full of questions--and some answers, too, somehow.

Lucifer has taught me that redemption exists. The worst person can develop. Love will not make you whole, but it will look at you, and walk with you in the painful moments. Faith, forgiveness, and self-worth are not easy; however, they are worth the struggle.

And best of all it reminded me that when you think you have fallen too far it is not too late to get back.

You do not always need to be perfect. All you need to do is to tell the truth. With yourself. In the company of the people you love. With life.

Absolutely. In particular, when you are a person who has lost your way, lost your sense of self-worth, felt misunderstood. Lucifer is not a crime or fantasy show, it is a show about humanity in all its ugly and beautiful and painful glory.

You will laugh, cry, scream and think. And when it is finished you will look a bit differently at yourself. You may even get the strength to forgive yourself of things that you have been carrying around long enough.

And if the Devil can find his way back to the light… Maybe so can you.

Hello everyone, Hive community, I hope you are all doing great today, today I want to talk to you a little bit about an incredible series... I have to confess something, binge-watching Lucifer was one of the best marathons I've had in a long time... it all started when I found it online, and it was like boom! I couldn't stop, it has everything: drama, comedy, mystery, action, and even romance... this series takes the idea of the devil and gives it an impressive twist, it shows us a Lucifer who is complex, charming, and even vulnerable! Nothing to do with the evil devil we are used to... and I tell you one thing, that's just the tip of the iceberg, from minute one, Tom Ellis' performance completely captivated me. It's just that his Lucifer is magnetic, people, I mean, his British accent gives an incredible elegance to a character that is anything but normal, Tom's charisma and spark are evident in every scene, he mixes humor with an emotional depth that leaves you wondering what's up with that devilish smile... it's not every day you see an actor who dares to show his funny side and at the same time moments of real vulnerability.
That two-faced vibe is what makes Lucifer a character you root for to the death... but what makes things even more interesting is the real story behind how the series survived... it turns out that Fox canceled it, and we all thought that was the end, but look, something incredible happened: thanks to an online movement called # SaveLucifer, Netflix saved it. And the best of all is that Tom Ellis himself was the one who put power to the campaign to save the series! It wasn't just a fan movement, the actor who brings Lucifer to life was there fighting for his character, that human touch gives him an extra connection with the series, it reminds us of the power of community and passion for something... it felt like a huge triumph for fans everywhere, and watching the series became a part of something much bigger than just a TV series.

And speaking of things that touched my soul, the relationship between Lucifer and Inspector Chloe Decker, ufff, since they first meet, the thing is a mix of tension and good vibes that changes with each season... at first, Lucifer is crazy about Chloe because she is immune to his powers, can you imagine? That makes their working relationship super interesting, full of sparks... but, as the chapters progress, that initial curiosity transforms into something much deeper, a great emotional connection... they both have their own internal issues, their own demons, and it is in that shared vulnerability where they find each other and support each other. The chemistry between them not only adds romance to the series, but also helps them grow a lot as people. Seeing how their relationship evolves, from total distrust at the beginning to a bond of trust and love, is one of the most captivating things in the series, I swear... their relationship is the heart of the story... the chemistry between Tom Ellis and his partner is felt in every scene, with that push and pull that creates tension and a romance that is impossible to deny.
Their dialogues are great, full of spark, the flirting and those moments in which they really care for each other make each episode a little gem, a true pleasure to watch, and I, who love police series, was pleasantly surprised by how the series mixes crime solving with supernatural things, making each case realistic and fantastic at the same time... throughout the seasons, I got really hooked on how the characters evolve, not only in their role in the cosmic fight of good versus evil, but also on a personal level. The series isn't afraid of deep, thought-provoking themes like justice, redemption, forgiveness, and how our past, especially our parents' choices in our lives, shapes us. It invites us to question human nature and morality, presenting theological themes in an easy-to-understand way without boring sermons. I loved how each season builds on these ideas, adding more depth to the story. Wonderful!

Let's start with the first season, which introduces us to Lucifer as a retired demon who decides to leave Hell to come to Earth and becomes a police consultant... watching him deal with the problems of human life and his own inner demons was super entertaining and, surprisingly, touched your heart... for the second season, the series turns up the comedy and gets more deeply into the emotions of the characters, and there we are introduced to Lucifer's mother, who is a crazy, crazy character!
In season 5, we are surprised with Lucifer's twin brother Michael and we see the love between Lucifer and Chloe develop, which was about time. And even God himself appears, imagine.. and well, maybe the final season wasn't the most exciting for some, but I liked how they closed all the characters' stories, with an ending that leaves you happy, visually, Lucifer is a beauty, people.. the shots are incredible and the way they film everything is super smart, they elevate the story a lot, making even the simplest scenes look elegant and cool, it's one of those series where you can tell that they put love into every scene so that you get fully into their world. A world where they dare to touch on topics like sex, violence and drug addiction, and all from the perspective of a biblical character! Breaking the mold and challenging everything expected from a series... and what I liked most is how the series surprises you every now and then, a very clear example is that episode where they mix animation with the performances of the real actors, it was something great…

I never thought that a series like Lucifer, which is already super weird with this supernatural thing, would dare to break the visual rules even more in that way... that episode not only blew my mind with the visuals, but it also put more feeling into the story, showing that the series is not afraid to experiment so that you don't take your eyes off the screen... I went to see it expecting just another run-of-the-mill supernatural drama, and surprise! I found a series that is provocative and entertaining at the same time, it changes your idea of what is good and bad by making human a character that we have always been told to be afraid of.
It's a story that celebrates the complicated, both in its characters and in the moral problems they raise, each chapter left me thinking, whether it was about the good and the bad that Lucifer has, in that connection he has with Chloe that can't be explained with words, or in those big questions about what's up with us humans... I have to admit that there were moments when I was shocked by how daring the story is. The series doesn't beat around the bush: it touches on strong themes head on and with an incredible vibe... there were scenes that made me laugh out loud, others that made me shed a tear, and even moments that left me thinking deeply, it's rare to find a series that mixes humor with drama so well, but Lucifer does it as if it were nothing.

Looking back on this whole journey, my expectations were not only met, they were exceeded! The way the show weaves such a tangled story while also playing with so many different genres is a masterclass in how to tell stories on TV, really, the superb performances from the cast, how clever the script is, and how they dare to touch on deep themes make this one of my favorite shows of all time, hands down!
It is a series that invites you to think, to laugh and to question even what you believe about life, love and what it means to be human... so, if you have not yet entered the world of Lucifer, I highly recommend it, it is a series that rewards you for getting hooked, it leaves you thinking and talking about it for days after the credits end... from Tom Ellis' unforgettable performance to that incredible resurrection thanks to the fans, Lucifer is proof of the power of passion, both on and off screen... I give it a 9 out of 10, not only because of how entertaining it is, but because of the heart it has, the humor and that incredible ability to question what we think we know about good and evil... believe me, once you start watching it, you will never see the devil in the same way again... and well friends, I hope you liked this review, see you in the next ones! Take care of yourselves, byebye!

  5. First Impressions on 'Lucifer': A really refreshing detective series featuring the Devil himself@namiks638d

    Lucifer.S01E03.720p.BluRay.x264-GalaxyTV-0001.png

Alright, I'm a little late to the party with this one. Lucifer is a show I have heard of extensively over the years, but it's one of those names that's managed to remain elusive as I've just never really seen or heard anything beyond the title online. Nor have I ever stumbled across and trailers, reviews, or general promotional material for the show. It's a surprise to me given this isn't a show that started a long time ago, in fact it had a release from 2016 and ran until 2021. I do think that some of my lack of awareness of the show came from the fact that around this time streaming services were going crazy, with new ones popping up here and there every other day, and with a plethora of shows and films being released to no end in efforts to compete with each other. Lucifer seems like one of those shows that just didn't manage to find its way to my screens despite its success, somewhat of a failure, and then revival at the hands of its fans. It's a rare story in which it became victim to the greedy hands of production companies and studios as it felt the deathly blow of the cancellation axe. With an extensive fanbase, it managed to find a new home at Netflix, given another chance within the real of the streaming world.

For 2016, a release like this is rare. A show that takes on the detective genre yet again, and with little surprise by adding another comedic twist to it. I'm reminded of great shows like Psych and Castle, to which the first few episodes of Lucifer felt like it pulled some inspiration from. These shows are ones that take us through various stories one episode at a time, with characters that are either highly charismatic or perhaps a little too naive. With their antics ultimately leading them into a lifestyle that's beyond anything they could've considered prior. I have to say, I actually thoroughly enjoy these lighthearted detective series, more so than the more serious ones like Poirot. They're easy to sit down and get into, and great to putting down at random points and picking up again without feeling like you've missed something or need to remember a great plot point to catch up again. Lucifer instantly resonated with me, it quickly became a show I found enjoyable and wanted to see more of. And at the same time, it's no surprise that the chaotic world of television show production led to a struggled production and threat of cancellation despite its success with fans and ratings. Lucifer.S01E03.720p.BluRay.x264-GalaxyTV-0002.png

Lucifer seems to be a different take on that comedic detective structure however, it's a show that puts us next to the Devil himself as he takes a long vacation from Hell and finds himself on Earth in Los Angeles, to which the feeling of eternity in Hell has found boredom within him. New inspiration is found on Earth as he takes up the role of a nightclub owner (though I personally feel like something like a casino owner would've also been highly fitting for something the Devil would great take joy in owning). At the same time, a death leads him to the discovery of a detective in the police department, which sparks a new interest in him and humans as he proceeds to find himself surrounded by curious cases that he tags himself along in efforts to solve. There's this curiosity to Lucifer's character that finds him incredibly annoying to most, but also highly mischievous, sticking true to his devilish nature as he exploits and pursues whatever it is he wants with little regard for the rest. Though one thing I have thoroughly enjoyed about this is that Lucifer's character is incredibly up-front about being the Devil to humans. It's really up to them whether or not they want to believe it. And it's with this that the show manages to hold its protagonist's nature up quite well.

The curiosity of Lucifer remains, and a lot of it makes sense in how he slowly wants to start understanding humans a little more. It's met with an equal understanding of how much he wants to dish out justice. That may sound like something that doesn't make sense for the Devil, for who is supposedly meant to be pure evil. Though that isn't the case here for Lucifer's character is more interested in pursuing punishments to those who deserve it. Which means helping those who have been wronged. The balance in his character is quite interesting, especially after those moments in which the more ruthless nature of Lucifer comes out. I quite like that the character is handled in this way, he's not good, and despite sometimes helping people there's a clear sign that this is not someone to be looking up to. He is after all still the Devil. This brings me to the next enjoyment of the show regarding Lucifer's character: Tom Ellis is perfectly cast for the role. The performance is incredible. His English accent certainly does things justice in the show given it stands out from the rest of the American ones. And he certainly has that look and notion to him that acts charismatic while also completely dangerous. Lucifer.S01E04.720p.BluRay.x264-GalaxyTV-0003.png

A lot of the humour comes from Lucifer's total disregard for the way things are done on Earth. Knowing that there is an after life, a lot of his interactions and general lack of respect from people comes from the fact that he knows he's more powerful and can ultimately do anything. It adds a nice bit of drama to it all too as others around him are often startled and trying to promote the order that humanity tends to hold. Particularly in the realm of law, to which Lucifer tends to just ignore. I like this a lot about the show, that refusal to accept and the contrast between humanity's limited knowledge and ideologies with Lucifer's lack of care. I do have the feeling that Lucifer's character will change over the seasons, and that he'll slowly adapt and learn more on human condition, but I also hope that a lot of his stubborn and powerful ways remain. Even if it does come down to Lucifer ultimately being part of the police force in Los Angeles.

With the general 40 minute runtime per episode, the show is pretty fun to watch in the evenings. One or two episodes rarely feels like enough. But that's the fun of it. And I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses.

  6. (ENG/SPA) Lucifer El Ángel Caído@promete0sz820d

    image.png

Source of Image Edited with Paint

Lucifer according to the scriptures is an angel and the most controversial figure of the Bible, to your mind perhaps when you read the name Lucifer or Satan comes the image of the goat, the horns, the trident, the red devils, etc. representations of this being but this is only the figure born during medieval times with the aim of giving birth and know the terror in the faithful and obey if or yes the scriptures and I think even more to the institution, the intermediary, the Church.

It is Easter and the Hive Shiver Zone contains a character of power that won a victory during the death of Jesus, now the big question is really exists or existed Lucifer, why he hates humanity, is he really evil, is he just a symbol, a myth, a legend written in the Bible, to have a clear picture about the work and aesthetics of this Angel, we must rely on the scriptures because the rest are human interpretations equivalent to your opinion or mine, no more and no less.

To analyze this character that is a turning point in humanity, I interpret that if it is real, many say that what is written is metaphorical, that are messages or stories to reflect but I think the intention of those who wrote the Bible is to try to tell us real facts and that Lucifer does represent evil as those temptations that divert us from the good path according to God, to give support I will establish it in the following aspects.

Adán y Eva en el Génesis, Source of Image Edited with Paint

    • The Ancient Serpent of Genesis:

Let us remember that dominant religions worldwide accept this book, with this in mind we see in their writings that first appearance of Lucifer as a serpent, that is why in the books this character has many names and on a personal level this is the one that I like the most because if there is a story that everyone knows or has heard is that of Adam and Eve, in this the Ancient Serpent tempts and manages to get Eve and Adam out of paradise by his influence.

In this story I think evil wins, I see a manipulative character with an impure intention that manages to make our humanity be punished and taken out of paradise but why he does it is not clear and I think the reason for this hatred towards humans comes later in a forbidden book, The Book of Enoch because let's remember that the Ancient Serpent is actually an Angel, one who was once in the service of God.

He is not an evil character for the sake of being evil and that's all, Lucifer has a reason for his actions and that is what we have to look for.

    • The Temptations of Jesus in the New Testament:

In this account we see the same essence of Lucifer that we saw in Genesis which is a manipulative one where his specialty is temptations, in the gif you can see a powerful representation of Lucifer from the film The Passion of the Christ but this as well as medieval visuals are human views, when you go to scripture where he does tempt Jesus to sin is when the Messiah goes to the desert to fast for 40 days and 40 nights.

A clear form of Lucifer is not described but he does exist as a being in the gospels of John and Luke as well as in Genesis, in fact he has a battle with Jesus of ideas, they dialogue face to face, Lucifer tempts with Sin and Jesus responds with Faith but we still do not know the reason for his darkness.

    • The Rebellion of the Angels in The Book of Enoch:

Lucifer is an Angel and you have never wondered where is his story to the fullness, as something that is supposed to be created for good becomes darkness, the reason for being in what I interpret is that Lucifer was created perfect, the most beautiful, its core sin are Vanity, Egocentrism, Pride and Envy, Pride and Envy where it is written that this Angel wanted to be above the throne of God and the latter by giving more importance to his new creation humans and give him the order to love them, that is where the hatred for humanity is born because it is his way to harm and hurt God.

The detail of the above is that he is not the only one, in the forbidden Bible of Enoch as well as in the Dead Sea writings there are several Angels that join the thought of Lucifer where all this story is narrated, that is to say the history of the Angels, also remember that Lucifer is an expert manipulator, key feature of every good or bad leader who was also created perfect, hence several Angels follow him and those other demons that are named in different demonic possessions are born.

In the Satanic Bible we hear in theory the reason for his thinking, Lucifer in tears says that he only wanted to be like his father, that and nothing more... what son proud of all that is his father would not want to be like him, it is necessary to listen or read the different versions so that you have the criteria to have your interpretation because it is inevitable that if there is good, there is evil and someone has to carry that cross.

I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.

Hello and good evening friends of the community dedicated to film and television shows. Today I would like to show my personal opinion about a television series that aired in 2016 of Dramatic genre with a touch of action and comedy that came to mark the heart of almost everyone on the planet and we are talking about nothing more and nothing less than Lucifer.

If I'm honest I love everything that is related to paranormal events and the history that is woven through them. We all know that the struggle between good and evil has always been a meeting point for various projects in the most varied forms and manifestations of art and especially in the modern world. That is why I was not surprised when I began to visualize a few years ago an audiovisual project entitled LUCIFER.

    serie-lucifer-768x432.jpg

    fuente/journalduweb.org

Synopsis The plot of the series takes place in New York City. Lucifer is banished by his father and sent to earth as punishment. Here he meets a beautiful detective who was practically the one who changed his way of thinking. And although it was difficult to live with his harsh reality Lucifer was often able to leave everything when he realized that he had fallen into the hands of Chloe.

And although in my country it was not completely transmitted, I liked everything that revolved around his evolution. After reading and analyzing some things to fully understand it, I have no doubt that the project, even though it had a lot of scenes, had a lot of success.

My personal opinion about the acting of the main characters is quite good, for example the role played by Tom Ellis is quite convincing and not to mention the acting of the supporting characters which complemented the rest of the scenes. The special effects were quite good even with its time of course logical "modernity divine modernity". And what to say about the soundtrack and other attributes that catapulted it so to speak to the top of the best series of Netflix. So friends if you have not yet seen the series I recommend you to look for it and visualize it and then you will know what I'm talking about. This was my content today I hope you liked it and thank you all for reading and commenting.

  8. Lucifer: an interesting series [ESP/ING]@cami.rojas1180d

    ¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive!

    Hello, Hive Commnunity!

    Fuente

Everyone can remember that time where the police TV series were a boom, I for example always liked them because the episodes were not always related, I never imagined to see a series that mixed the police plot with religious or biblical characters, but, to me came Lucifer, a TV series that initially produced Fox, and that is based on The Sandman Series from DC Comics; this is a completely different story to what we may have heard or read in other works about Lucifer.

In this plot, Lucifer, leaves hell to come down to Earth, specifically in Los Angeles, where he meets Chole Decker for a strange murder, a pretty good detective, who belongs to the Los Angeles Police Department, somehow and another way ends up being an advisor to the police, which will bring him much closer to Chole and humans.

Lucifer has 6 seasons, totaling 93 episodes, the truth is that it is not a short series, but it is one that passes quite quickly, the truth, I started watching this series in January 2022, so I lasted more than a year watching this series and this is because inevitably end up watching other productions in the middle of this, so the best way to talk about this series, is dividing it in a certain way in the number of seasons I saw. Something important is that Fox canceled the series in season 3, and Netflix decided to continue with the story and produced until season 6.

    Temporada 1

    Season 1

In this first season we were able to appreciate a little bit about how the dynamics are, we are also introduced to the characters in a very particular way because the truth is that all of them are complex and have a great development during the denouement. So that you can understand my following opinions, I will tell you a little bit about each character, apart from Lucifer and Chole, who are our protagonists.

One of the first characters we meet is Daniel, Chole's ex-husband and detective as well. On the other hand, there is Amenadiel, an angel, Lucifer's brother who comes to Earth to return Lucifer to hell; Mazikeen, is a demon who has accompanied Lucifer from hell to earth; and finally Linda, Lucifer's therapist.

What I like is that although each chapter had a different mystery there were also some different clues that encompass a conflict in general that is resolved at the end of the plot (I do not want to give spoilers), I must say that the series managed to catch me at all times and that the truth I quite liked, one thing I noticed is that most of the murders were of people who were in show business or Hollywood, people usually with a lot of money or who were related to the medium; it was not the case of all cases, but yes, the majority. I liked this because it showed that power and money can really have negative effects on human beings and lead them to do real atrocities.

    Temporada 2

    Season 2

In this season we see some much more real characters, with some much bigger breaking and also blossoming points. There are characters that evolve greatly, like Maze and Amenadiel, they are my favorite characters in this season because I really love how they adapt to a new awakening and begin to discover parts of themselves.

In this season, we meet Ella, a police forensic scientist, a being full of happiness and faith. Great revelations were part of this season, thanks to the appearance of Lucifer's Mom, with whom I had a love/hate relationship throughout the season. The relationship between Lucifer and Chole becomes much stronger, I really love them as a couple, it frustrates me a little that things do not flow as the viewer expects, so you just have to trust that they will develop them much more.

    Temporada 3

    Season 3

This is the longest season of the whole series, with more than 20 chapters and one of the best approaches between Lucifer and Chole, it also allowed us to know a new face of the characters, saying goodbye to a very important one, it was as if in a single season all of them had advanced a lot, this is one of my favorite seasons because it shows them all as they are.

The end of this season is everything, honestly I was shocked and at the same time a little confused, but I feel it was a good ending and even an introduction to season 4.

    Season 4

In the previous season I was sure it was my favorite, but came season 4 to dethrone it, honestly this season I devoured it too fast, because I could not avoid that a chapter caught me. Here we understand a little more of the origin of Lucifer, we see much more nuances of himself and even other characters like Chole and Daniel. In this season it is much more evident some things pending with ourselves and that it is difficult to get out of a black hole without asking for help first.

The ending of this season left me in tears but maybe that's a reasonable thing to do because it continues to cement the story.

    Temporada 5

    Season 5

A heartbreaking season filled with so many lessons. The characters have a growth in their personalities that reaches a very comforting point for the viewer. If I had to say something bad about this season, it is that it has very illogical moments (like in 2 or 3 chapters) and the effects left much to be desired.

But in these 16 chapters you feel that the story is closing little by little and that is very nice to see.

    Season 6

Actually in season 5 almost everything was closed, so I felt confused, and I really didn't like this season; I think because here we meet a character from the future that changes everything and that bothers me, because everything was directed based on a realistic purpose of life and I feel that it could have been resolved better. The ending bothered me a lot, with the other characters it was really good, but, with Chole and Lucifer, it was cruel, I can think of ten thousand different scenarios.

However, I also have to admit that the fact that the dynamic will change a bit in this plot, I liked it, because here, Chole and Lucifer are no longer in the police, so there are no daily cases, instead we learn more about them and live new adventures.

Really Luficer is a series that had many great moments, an incredible character development, one of my favorite things about the series; a good story, I was impressed with how they show us that maybe the stories, no matter how classic they may seem, can always be told in a different way. Now, I really feel that what I liked the least was season 6, because I expected a better ending.

Lucifer is a series that I recommend to watch in the evenings or weekends, it is an entertaining plot and has a lot of drama, a spectacular romance and problems that we can identify with perfectly. Despite having an ending that did not please me much, I still consider it a different proposal to see if you like police plots with different touches like me.

Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you for making a temporary stop in my post, if you have been following my publications for a while you will know that one of my favorite topics for a series is everything that has to do with police, however it is something that can be quite generic so it is necessary that they always give it a certain twist to maintain a certain originality and that is exactly what the series does ' Lucifer' adding angels and demons to the formula. Without further ado, get ready to make a deal that we are about to start.

The soundtrack is quite pleasant being the perfect complement to each moment that is presented in the series to make the scenes it exposes more palpable.

The construction of the world is very well done since a perfect interaction between the celestial and the human is achieved, this relationship gives it a certain touch of originality that manages to make the whole process of police investigation something much fresher and more interesting, in addition, it alternates between human and angelic affairs in order to keep a different and interesting topic on the table.

The plot is something peculiar since in the first seasons it is extremely interesting since different things are discovered about the protagonists, as well as different situations quite plausible to understand the universe of the series are also raised, however at one point the story becomes bland and boring, being even that they sin of using concept previously introduced thus lacking originality and those that it adds are incongruous and feel dissonant with everything previously established.

The characters are the weakest point of the entire series, although many times they are faced with difficult situations to develop them as characters the truth of the matter is that on more than one occasion that small progress is sent to the devil, being that there are even situations in which the character regresses even more than it was at first. The above is for cases in which a development is attempted, something in which I know fails on more than one occasion, but it is much worse for those characters for whom you do not even try to generate growth.

Lucifer is a series that presents an extremely interesting concept but unfortunately the plot does not go anywhere most of the time and when it advances it is quite boring, something similar happens with the development of the characters being a fiasco most of the attempts. For all the above mentioned is that it deserves a rating of 3 stars out of 7, it is a good series to some extent that it was counterproductive to extend more than it should.

    Restez prudents,

    Florence

  11. Lucifer - How to make me like the holy bible@ykretz1849d

Lucifer is one of the TV shows a lot of people were telling me to watch.

    lUCIFER.jpg

The first months I was thinking "hum, I'll probably never watch it because I don't really like police series". At a moment this became "Maybe, we'll see".

When I saw more and more people watching it and saying to me to watch it I slowly started to changed my mind, step by step. Then Netflix bought it, I was really getting enthusiastic to watch it but totally forgot.

The moment I started to watch was when the season 4 arrived onto the well known platform.

That's how in around 10 days I watched everything. That's how I work, I watch the entire season 5 only today....

If you don't know anything about the series, I'll make a really quick presentation

Lucifer is the Lord of the Hell. After hundreds of thousands, of years reigning on the throne of the realm of darkness he decided to quit his kingdom to live on earth to live as a human. But a human with divine blood in his veins and the reputation of the badest person of the world.

So Now I have to say few things :

As you may have understood, I liked it. A lot. Even if I don't like police series this one is really different because THE MAIN CHARACTER IS STAN OK ? Do I have anything more to say ?

I'm atheist and never believed in any god and most of time I'm pretty bored by all the holy stories. I don't really like to have the bible's character in a movie or series because that often makes the movie or series too dramatic and can't seem realistic at all. Especially few days ago when I watched Legion...

    legion.jpg

Here the characters seem totally human and that's exactly what the series wants to show ! The angels are totally disconnected from the whole humanity. When lucifer is on Earth, he's the only one knowing how the humans are living. That makes him totally endearing. When Amenadiel comes on earth for the first time we can see that he's totally lost and it takes some time before becoming human.

There are also few bad sides of the show. I think there is too much sentences related to god or the heaven said by characters that don't know about the Lucifer's divine blood. Sometimes that can seem totally normal like a lot of "Oh my god", but there are really a lot of them, at least 2-3 per episode. Even if sometimes Lucifer changes it by saying "Oh my dad", that works the first times but for me that quickly becomes too much.

    cast.png

I didn't know most of the actors. I even think that I didn't know a single actor from the cast. But I really love each of them. They are all really giving life to the characters and they all have a wide palette of emotions and we can feel a lot of different things through each of them all along the show.

All of them have their bright days, their bad sides and that makes all of them great characters. I really love how they've been created during the show. Sometimes one of them can be less on the screen but there is always a moment when any of the main characters has a episode or a full ark for him/her.

I have to confess something, I'm french and I most of time watch movies with the French audio version. Maybe you find this totally understandable but when you're french and you do it you're getting mocked. especially if you work in the cinema.. And I'm editor so.. Shame on me, but don't care ! I needed to tell you that because, all the french dubbing are amazing. I really like the voice actors they chose and most of all they totally fit with their characters !

    netflix.png

What did netflix change ? Mostly they made the Evil stronger with bigger musculature.

I can't really say if they changed something else on the show... But I can totally say they did not destroy it. Unlike a lot of TV shows that did not became the same thing over and over starting to be boring and worst at each episode. The quality kept a regular level.

Here we just have few episodes better than others. I think that may have start with the first Netflix's Season but there were few themed episodes. With a bigger artistic choice, those episodes are the ones that can make everything change for you. I found some great but others too long.

    concluision.png

I think you should give a try to the series. And in my opinion, if you don't like the first episodes, you'll probably don't like the rest of it.

If you usually like police series and can totally watch superheroes films you should totally try it because it keeps the best of each genre.

I really loved it, and I'm writing those last lines just after seeing the last episode. And I'm not disappointed and I'm waiting to see other police series that can be as great as this one. And if you know few of them, don't hesitate to advice me !

Today, I'm gonna talk to you about one of my favorites tv-shows: Lucifer. Te first thing i must clarify is that this serie is based on Vertigo's comic, but it's not an accurate nor exact adaptation. This Lucifer doesn't relate to the one in Constantine's movie either. I'm a big fan of DC comics and i love adaptations that are as close as they could be of the comcis, it can bother me a bit if tv/movie makers make some changes, but this show is so well done that it doesn't bother me at all.

The story tell us how Lucifer, the fallen angel, gets tired of reigning in hell and decides to move to Los Angeles, there he becomes an LA PD consultant and in company of Detective Decker starts to solve murders. At the same time Lucifer has a bar called "Lux". Our main character is usually surprised by other biblical creatures as other angels (his siblings), Eve and even God in his usual cristian form and in a femenine version. The serie show us the way to Lucifer humanization.

The cast is not perfect, but we have some amazing castings, starting by the person who acts as"the devil", welsh actor Tom Ellis, even when he doesn't fullfil phenotype because he's blond, now i can not imagine someone else being Lucifer. Ellis transpires security and sexuality (two very representative aspects of our devil), that together with an script that show us a sarcastic and playful Lucifer and his british accent make a perfect combination to an amazing impersonation. There are also other remarkable perfomance as Lucifer's therapist doc. Linda Martin portrait by Rachel Harris (Suits) and forensic Ella Lopez performed by Aime Garcia.

  13. Lucifer Season 4 – Spoiler Free Review@readingdanvers2349d

    Lucifer season 4.jpg

Hell yeah, that's what I'm talking about. This season was much better than season 3. Netflix gave this show the saving that it needed, plus it treated it right. Sure, it was a short season, but it was short and great.

All of the great cast is back. Tom Ellis is wickedly wonderful as the devil, Lauren German is back as detective Chloe Decker who solves cases for the L.A.P.D along with Lucifer, D.B. Woodside is the Devil's brother – the angel Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt is Lucifer's loyal friend and demon – Mazikeen and all of the rest of the cast are back. There are also some new comers, mainly, Inbar Lavi as Eve. Yeah, that Eve. What an annoying character. I don't think it's the acting, I think the actress did a pretty job. Just the character was so annoying that I couldn't wait for her to be gone.

The plot of this season was much much more interesting than that of the previous season. I binged it in a week. I just didn't have time to write my review until now. In this season Lucifer actually has a personal character arc that affects him personality, all while he remains the charmingly devilish. Decker has her own personal struggle that she must handle. The events of the season 4 finale affected her greatly and now she must deal with the consequences and how that makes her feel. Aimee Garcia's Ella Lopez - Police Department's forensic scientist – has an interesting arc as this season she deals with a crisis of faith. It's doubly interesting when you consider her surrounding and that strange bonus episode of season 3 which mostly revolved around her. On top of it all, Lucifer has more than a few personal enemies that show up, each with a different goal. But all together creating a great season with a great story.

If you were looking for the more explicit R rated parts that Netflix and Tom Ellis promised us, you are probably going to be disappointed. It's not a PG13 show in my opinion, but we didn't see that much of Tom Ellis' abs as we were promised.

It was a really good season. It has character development, great plot, great exploring of the mythos of heaven and hell in the world of the show. It has funny moments, touching moments, surprising moments. And an ending which both demands another season as well as an ending that could have served as an ending to the entire show.

But I am super happy that we are getting a season 5 and I can't wait to see where the show will go next.

  14. Lucifer Season 3 – Spoiler Free Review@readingdanvers2385d

    Lucifer.jpg

Another week another season. I don't know what I'm going to do without this show when I'm done. It is such fun guilty pleasure.

This season picks up a little while after the previous season ended. Tom Ellis is fabulously back as Lucifer Morningstar – the charming devil, Lauren German is back as homicide detective Chloe Decker, D.B. Woodside is back as the angel Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt is back as the demon going a little human Mazikeen, Kevin Alejandro is back as detective Dan Espinoza, Rachael Harris is back as therapist Linda Martin and Aimee Garcia is yet again Ella Lopez the department's overly happy forensic scientist. This season's new comer is Tom Welling as the mysterious Lieutenant Marcus Pierce.

This season is less good than the previous ones, but it is still good. I can't understand why the show was cancelled, but I am so happy it got picked up for a fourth season by Netflix. I mean the season ends on such a cliffhanger that it must continue. But, first thing is first let's go back to the end of the second season. At the end of the previous season Lucifer found out something important about Chloe, something that changes their relationship completely. Lucifer is not good at handling, well, anything and this something is no exception. He makes a stupid decision and then has to live with the consequences which are slow building throughout the season. These consequences are far from what he expected as other elements move into the game and change everything.

Surprisingly, this season could have benefited from being shorter and the bonus episodes are not a must see. In fact, I didn't know that episode 25 was a bonus episode and I found it odd in how it is connected to the rest of the season. But it is was still a good season. The humor is still there and so is the tension between Lucifer and Chloe. Their will they won't they relationship is still there. Tom Welling may not be Superman anymore, but Lucifer is still a WB show, so they add at least one joke about the topic. Plus, even though it's been more than a decade, Tom Welling is till hot. Another eye candy for the show. I just love the characters.

Other than the season ending, I didn't feel like the plot of the show made any progress. It was disappointing in a way. The season had its own arc which was occasionally interesting, but not always. Good thing everything else is so much fun. I know that shows usually go downhill after the will they won't they conflict is resolved, but this feels like pointless stalling at times. Still fun though.

What did you think about season 3 of Lucifer?

For me it's time to continue to season 4 and start wondering could take the place of the beloved show after I finish watching it.

  15. Lucifer – Season 2 Spoiler Free Review@readingdanvers2395d

    Lucifer season 2.jpg

Another week another season. I love this show. It is just so fun. Tom Ellis is back as Lucifer Morningstar, Lauren German is back as Chloe Decker, D.B. Woodside is back as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt is back as Mazikeen, Kevin Alejandro is back as Dan Espinoza and Rachael Harris is back as Linda Martin. We also have some new characters joining this season mainly Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez as a the new police department's forensic scientist and Tricia Helfer is joining as Charlotte and the goddess of creation – the mother of all angels.

Other than the will they won't they relationship part between Lucifer and Decker, the most interesting part of the season is by far Charlotte. Sure, Amenadiel has to deal with his problems. Mazikeen still tries to find her way in a very human world. But Charlotte creates some interesting dynamics and problems.

In fact, after finishing the season I feel like the season revolved around Charlotte and Lucifer. She makes him look like an angel.

This season was so much fun. I loved everything about it. The characters, the plot, the dynamic. Anytime I felt like I need a pick me up, this was it.

If you watched season 1, you probably like me went straight to watching season 2. But if you never watched the show, you totally should.

  16. Lucifer – Season 1 Spoiler Free Review@readingdanvers2398d

    Lucifer.jpg

Yeah, so I binged the entire first season. I usually never binge. I need to take my time from episode to episode. Not in this case.

Lucifer follows Lucifer Morningstar as he leaves hell to go live on Earth in Los Angeles. Now he is the owner of a popular bar, and he enjoys the good life and everything that the human world has to offer along with his very loyal demon friend Mazikeen. He doesn't make any attempt to hide his true identity, even though no one believes him. His extended leave of absence causes problems in hell, causing his angelic big brother to try and use any means possible to bring him back to hell.

The cast is great, but Tom Ellis as Lucifer is just brilliant. He brings so much, charisma and humors to the show. Lesley-Ann Brandt is super badass. Lauren German also does a great job as the detective who always keeps it together, and despite her coldness finds a warm place for Lucifer. The cast does a good job with what they have but Tom Ellis is just brilliant.

Despite being the Devil himself, occasionally he cares about people. When a former friend of his gets killed, he teams up with detective Chloe Decker to find her killer. Decker seems to be unaffected by Lucifer's considerable charm. However, he likes working with her so much that he decides to join her in other cases as well.

This season is basically a detective show, in which one of the detectives is Lucifer. He is so selfish and self-absorbed that it is just hilarious. In fact, I laughed out loud a lot during this season. It was very funny, amusing and entertaining and over the top. You wouldn't think that a show with the devil as a character in it can be a feel good show, but it totally is. I watched the entire season in one weekend on Netflix and it was a very fun weekend indeed.

If you’re looking for a fun supernatural show to watch, I recommend that you give it a try. Now on to season 2.

    • How unique a t v series can be? If you want to see a completely unique t v series then you must watch LUCIFER! This is a story about the angel of hell and his deepest insecurity and inner conflicts.

    • The story evolves around Lucifer Morningstar , the angel of hell. He punishes human in the hell. But he has been punished by GOD (his father) himself. And he felt that he was humiliated and that is why he has left hell and now lives in L A , United States.

Here, because of living between humans, he get to know about the humanity, the emotions of human. At first, he thought that the human emotions are useless but slowly he started to feel like a human. He started to love a detective named Chloe Decker . He started to share his emotions with his therapist named Linda Martin. He started to love the mortal life of humans. Though he thought that he do not need any one but actually he loved to have people around him who loved him like the demon Mazikeen. Through the whole 1 st season of this series, he solved cases with detective Chloe Decker for L A P D. He dived into the deepest insecurity and desires of the criminals and solved many cases. The bottom line is he felt intrigued seeing the emotions of human and started to express his emotions and insecurity like a normal human does .
