  1. Mavka: The Forest Song - 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝑯𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝑯𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑰𝒔 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 - Movie Review@merit.ahama1077d

Another animated movie but a different vibe and storyline...

Unexpectedly interesting right from the time I saw the trailer and got interested to see the movie.

This movie wasn't recommended to me by anyone but just my Google search suggesting animated movies and I saw the poster of this movie, it looked captivating then I got curious to know what storyline was behind the name... Mavka the forest song

Looking at the poster alongside the title, what did you guess the movie would be about? I don't know if it's just me but I tend to figure out a little if some movie posters and title could actually tell the story before learning about the storyline of the movies. It's mostly impossible but very fun to do when I realize I was close or very far from what the movie is about.

I thought the movie would be about a girl who sings beautifully in the forest and maybe a guy made a trip to the forest and found her then they will bond because of her music... Well, scratch that! The movie gave me a surprise and I love it!

Title - Mavka: The Forest Song Genres - Adventure/Fantasy Release date: 2 March 2023 Directed by Oleksandra Ruban, Oleg Malamuzh

Mavka The Forest Song is about a girl who is a guardian of a forest and she is called the soul of the forest. Her pure self made the forest ancestors choose her as the forest goddess with the hope that she would protect the forest especially from humans. Out of greed and desire for a long life, a woman made a poor guy who was in need of money to invade the forest for the tree of long life to get her a leaf from it.

Well, be sure of interesting and funny scenes as they guy journey into the forest and met the soul of the forest...

Mavka - The soul of the forest I like her role in the movie, the colourful body, her wide eyes and how she reacts when she hears a song played in the forest. I wouldn't have imagined a forest having a soul but it's interesting how the writer of this movie thought of something like that and even made the soul to be in the form of a pure and cheerful beautiful girl.

She is made to make a sacrifice that made her lose her pure self so she could save the forest from the evil humans but she was saved... By what? You'll have to see the movie to find out.

Lucas - The wonderful musician So it turned out that the girl isn't the singer in the movie but Lucas, a human from a close by village. He is made to embark on a journey without the knowledge of what lies ahead of him and who the woman who sent him really is. He met a beautiful girl who introduces herself as the soul of the forest he is standing on. His music wakes Mavka inner power up and makes her want to learn more about humans and their music.

I like how the two bonded even though they were from different world and many odds are against their friendship. Well, it's always a different case when a huge problem surfaces and actions are taken to teach a lesson which they will all learn together.

How the forest beings and the humans came together to live together is what the whole movie is about.

At the end of this trailer, you'll hear the sentence that struck me more from everything said in the movie... The Only Magic Humans Have Is Love... and that is because they proved it that way in the movie. It made me also think that it is true even in our reality, we are no magicians but we could tell a lot what love has done and can do when we let it win.

I'll recommend this animated movie to you if you're a lover of these kinds of movie, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the story and scenes. Rating this animated movie 9/10 because I love everything. Will be looking out for more animated movie suggestions, they seem to get even more interesting as new ones are being released. Until next time...

🎞 Today I managed to get to a screening of a Ukrainian animated film in French at the cinema. In our country, "Mavka" was put on the program not immediately, the whole of France, apparently, has already watched it. But nothing, I was waiting for this moment.

"Dryad. Forest Song" is a Ukrainian 3D animated film based on Lesya Ukrainka's drama extravaganza "Forest Song". The French name is Le royaume de Naya.

The film, in my opinion, is suitable for children up to 11-12 years old. He is too childish, but interesting.

Ukrainian animated films can worthy compete for attention in Europe and the world.

Here we will see the already familiar "Dahabrah" (who play the role of themselves 😁), a Ukrainian village, the beauty of nature, we will witness the collision of the world of people with the world of nature, which will result in a real war. For children (and adults), the topic is very relevant, but it is even more pleasant that the cartoon is based on the work of Lesya Ukrainka, although I think few of today's children will be able to associate it.

It is very nice to support Ukrainian cinematography.
