   Para los que tienen la oportunidad de ver la primera película sobre un tiburón gigante o sea un megalodonte, puedes esperar exactamente lo mismo de la segunda película Y esto no es del todo malo porque no deja de ser una película para divertirte un domingo por la tarde.

   Cuándo comienzas a ver la película sabes muy bien a lo que tienes una película pura y gore de diversión, Eso sí los efectos especiales son bastante buenos, el humor que estaba manejado en la película está muy bien logrado y lo que sí es bastante paródico es como ver cómo los actores se toman en serio sus escenas, y esto lo digo porque hay momentos bastante ridículos y divertidos.

   When you start watching the movie you know very well what you have a pure and gore fun movie, That yes the special effects are pretty good, the humor that was handled in the film is very well achieved and what is quite parodic is like to see how the actors take their scenes seriously, and I say this because there are quite ridiculous and funny moments.

   Hello friends, I'm here with another fascinating movie I watched titled Meg 2: The Trench and I would like to share with you here.

   The movie is about a man who leads a research team on an exploratory dive into the deepest depths of the ocean.

   Their voyage spirals into chaos when a malevolent mining operation threatens their mission and forces them into a high-stakes battle for survival.

   Pitted against colossal, prehistoric sharks and relentless environmental plunderers, they must outrun, outsmart and out swim their merciless predators.

   It begins Five years after the events of the first films, Jonas Taylor has been involved in fighting environmental crime while also helping Mana One in exploring a further deep part of the Mariana Trench where the Megalodon had been found.

   Following the death of Suyin Zhang, Jonas has been raising her teenage daughter Meiying alongside her uncle and Suyin's brother Jiuming Zhang, who has acquired his father's company alongside wealthy financier Hillary Driscoll.

   Mana One has also been studying a female Meg called Haiqi, who was discovered as a pup and trained by Jiuming in a reserve in Hainan.

   Recently, Haiqi has been acting erratically, leading to Jonas being concerned despite Jiuming's enthusiasm.

   Jonas and Jiuming lead a routine submersible exploration to the Trench, with Meiying stowing away to see the trench for the first time. Fellow Meg survivors DJ and Mac observe the group from the Mana One.

   On their way down, the subs are pursued by Haiqi, who escaped captivity the previous night; the subs dive through the thermocline to escape, but Haiqi forces her way through it anyway.

   Two much larger Megs, a massive alpha male and a slightly smaller beta male, appear and mate with Haiqi.

   While working on an escape plan, Jonas and his team discover an illegal mining operation in a station captained by the mercenary Montes, who has a vendetta against Jonas for his imprisonment some time before.

   Montes' crew was hired by Driscoll to covertly use the Mana One's access to the trench to farm rare earth minerals that could earn them billions.

   Furthermore, Montes kills his crew in an explosion to cover up their activities, which causes a rupture in the trench and grounds both Jonas’ and Jiuming's ships.

   DJ, Mac, and fellow Mana One analyst Jess discovered that the rescue pod has been sabotaged, forcing the crew to use exosuits to walk towards the station in the creature-filled trench, with only Jonas, Meiying, Jiuming and security officer Rigas surviving the journey.

   Jess and Driscoll reveal themselves to be traitors and attempt to kill the four, but the four escape the station in another submersible after a scuffle with Montes, who escapes to the surface through a buoy.

   Driscoll sends mercenaries to take over the Mana One, while Montes surfaces and meets with Jess.

   As the crew surfaces, they discover the rupture from earlier which leads to several of the creatures, including the three Megs, a swarm of lizard-like creatures known as Snappers and a faint octopus escaping the trench and reaching the surface.

   Jonas’ crew meets with DJ and Mac, and Montes focuses the mercenaries on the crew after Jess was devoured by a Meg. His team escapes to a nearby resort, Fun Island, to warn them of the approaching creatures.

   Driscoll, Montes, and the mercenaries arrive at Fun Island to eliminate Jonas’ crew, but they are instead attacked by the Snappers, who kill Driscoll and numerous mercenaries.

   Jonas’ group splits up to evacuate the tourists as the Megs and the octopus begin their attack.

   He manages to kill the beta male Meg using an explosive taped to a harpoon before being attacked by Montes, leading both to sail to the beach.

   The two battle before he knocks Montes into the mouth of the alpha Meg to be consumed.

   Jiuming creates a bomb out of fertilizer and, along with Mac, takes over Driscoll's unattended helicopter to fly towards the beach where Meiying is trying to help tourists.

   This year has seen the release of one of the most anticipated action and comedy movies, I'm talking about the meg 2, the continuation of Jason Statham's adventures in the sea hunting megalodons.

   It is undoubtedly one of the best movies of this year because in addition to combining wonderful special effects, a gripping plot and moments of hilarious action and suspense in every scene. It also brings to reality a legendary fight that I would have always liked to see and that is between a megalodon and a Kraken.

   In the video I comment on important aspects of the movie, such as the actors, why I liked it so much, details of the plot, and aspects of why I think there may be a third part to close this saga.

   Undoubtedly this is one of the most awaited movies since the first part left many questions unanswered and we fans wanted a second part.

   Este año ha salido una de las películas de acción y comedia más esperadas, estoy hablando de the meg 2, la continuación de las aventuras de Jason Statham en el mar cazando megalodones.

   Está sin duda es una de las mejores películas de este año ya que además de combinar maravillosos efectos especiales, una trama atrapante y momentos de acción hilarantes y suspenso en cada escena. También trae a la realidad una lucha legendaria que siempre me hubiera gustado ver y es la de un megalodón y un Kraken.

   En el video comento aspectos importantes de la película, como los actores, por qué me gustó bastante, detalles de la trama, y aspectos de por qué pienso que puede haber una tercera parte que cierre esta saga.

   Sin duda esta es una de las películas más esperadas ya que la primera parte dejó muchísimas preguntas sin responder y los fans queríamos una segunda parte.

   Jason Statham is one of my favourite action thriller actors and whenever I see him in films, I'm excited because I know it won't be boring and I'll enjoy some laughs. I remember watching The Meg (2018) and enjoyed the thrilling action and suspense. I didn't expect that that would be a sequel so imagine my surprise when I found this film on the streaming site I use.

   The first film was released some five years ago and that's a long time to keep the details in my head. Other things have filled it up but I simply remembered that Jason did well in it and saved the day like most of his films. There was no point watching it again to refresh my memory. I delved straight into the sequel.

   Based on Steve Alten's novel titled The Trench, Meg 2: The Trench (2023) is a sci-fi action film that opens with a prelude scene focused on the Cretaceous period, 65 million years ago, where some prehistoric water and land creatures existed and feasted on each other. From carnivorous sea lizards fighting over who gets to eat a fish to a T-rex surfacing from the forest to pursue the lizards and eating one of them and finally, a megalodon appears from the depths of the ocean scarily to bite down on the T-rex. It's a show of survival of the fittest.

   The audience is brought back to the present time where Jonas Taylor (played by Jason Statham) is shown on a big ship taking evidence and helping to fight environmental crime. Next, a megalodon named Haiqi raised in captivity by Jonas Taylor (played by Jason Statham) and his team in Mana One is revealed gliding in water. Jiuming Zhang, a scientist and diver, goes into the water to check on Haiqi because she'd been acting erratically.

   After determining all is well, the team led by Jonas Taylor and Jiuming Zhang go on a routine submersible exploration to depths of the ocean called the Trench. They quickly discover that illegal mining operations are going on, putting the environment and ocean creatures at risk. At the same time, part of the team on Mana One discovers one of the submersible machines has been sabotaged. Who could be behind this sabotage? Was there a mole within Mana One?

   Review

   The plot is straightforward, and the suspense and tension of this film are well-executed. It reminds me of the thrill of watching Jaws 2 and similar underwater predator action movies. The adrenaline-pumping scenes keep you on the edge of your seat.

   Most of the scenes in Meg 2: The Trench take place in the depths of the sea where Jason Statham leads his research team. As expected, things go wrong and they fight against scary ocean monsters to survive!

   

   

   

   

   The performance of the actors is splendid as they embodied their characters and excellently displayed the fears and reactions of facing predators in the ocean. Jason Statham as always is impressive in his fight scenes, his humorous remarks lessen the palpable tensions and his diving skills are second to none. I enjoyed his bromance with Wu Jing (as Jiuming Zhang), they are good together.

   I wasn't impressed with Shuya Sophia who played the role of Suyin's (from The Meg) daughter. Her acting and dialogues seem forced as though she's shy around the other actors except for the scenes where she rescues people on the island. Maybe she's an upcoming actress but this film is definitely not her breakout role.

   The only issue I have with this movie is the visuals. I don't know if the cinematographer or the equipment used is old-fashioned but the transitions, especially underwater, are confusing sometimes and the lighting is poor. It's a bit hard to keep up with the action as the visuals are not steady. I had to rewind some scenes again and again to catch the action.

   Overall, Meg 2: The Trench is a delightful watch if you are in the mood for a suspenseful underwater sharky-scary movie. Jason Statham did great in this one. I'll give it 3 stars out of 5.

   In the afternoon I decided to watch a shark movie, which many people talk about, so I had great expectations, since the first one was very good. Undoubtedly this kind of movies all go to the same point of being able to escape from one of the deadliest animals in the world, combining great moments, where the slightest mistake made in the depths of the ocean will put life at risk, plus that great fear and terror, since no one wants to meet one of these creatures. This new installment has managed to exceed many expectations, plus the presence of a good actor and as a continuation of the first production, has been a success. This story of action, adventure and a lot of prehistoric sharks will be a great challenge and excitement in the movie Megalodon 2, so not to be left behind and enjoy another shark movie was the one chosen this time.

   En horas de la tarde me animé a ver una película de tiburones, la cual muchos hablan de ella, así que tenía grandes expectativas, puesto que la primera fue muy buena. Sin duda este tipo de películas todas van al mismo punto de poder escapar de uno de los animales más mortales del mundo, combinando grandes momentos, donde el mínimo error que se cometa en las profundidades del océano pondrá en riesgo la vida, además ese gran miedo y terror, ya que nadie quiere encontrarse con una de esas criaturas. Esta nueva entrega ha logrado superar muchas expectativas, además la presencia de un buen actor y como continuación de la primera producción, ha sido un éxito. Esta historia de acción, aventura y una gran cantidad de tiburones prehistóricos será todo un gran desafío y emoción en la película de Megalodon 2, así que para no quedarme atrás y disfrutar de otra película de tiburón fue la escogida en esta oportunidad.

   From the beginning we notice the story of a group of researchers, who have specialized in studying the depths of the sea, something that would be very interesting and know that you can find many things, no doubt the amount of years it takes to get there is quite a lot. From there begins the adventure, where it is I like it, since from the beginning they are showing that great tension and little by little they are realizing the mysteries that there hidden, allowing to be attentive every second, managing to understand many things of the same one.

   Where the first moment that the first prehistoric shark came out was something shocking, to see something of great size that I am sure that it existed, where the way of attacking and scaring all the human beings in charge of the expedition is not good at all, it also leads us to continue to enjoy and see what will happen with those sharks. One of the things I liked about this movie and gave it a great touch is the presence of many prehistoric animals and large size in the same, showing that only one is who dominates the chain, also the base where it is located is very modern, luxurious and always remains there in order to develop the whole adventure, as well as the various clashes with sharks and give a great touch of excitement to it.

   Desde un principio notamos la historia de un grupo de investigadores, que se han especializado en estudiar las profundidades del mar, algo que sería muy interesante y saber que puedas encontrarte con muchas cosas, sin duda la cantidad de años que se necesita para llegar allí es bastante. A partir de allí comienza la aventura, donde está me gusto, ya que desde un principio se van mostrando esa gran tensión y poco a poco se van dando cuenta de los misterios que allí ocultos, permitiendo estar atento cada segundo, logrando entender muchas cosas de la misma.

   Donde el primer momento que salió el primer tiburón prehistórico fue un algo impactante, ver algo de gran tamaño que estoy seguro de que existió, donde la manea de ir atacando y asustando a todo los seres humanos a cargo de la expedición no es nada bueno, además nos lleva a seguir disfrutando y ver qué pasará con esos tiburones. Una de las cosas que me gusto de esta película y le dio un gran toque es la presencia de muchos animales prehistóricos y de gran tamaño en la misma, demostrando que solo uno es quien predomina en la cadena, además la base donde se encuentra es muy moderna, lujosa y siempre se mantiene allí para así poder ir desarrollando toda la aventura, al igual que los diversos enfrentamientos con los tiburones y darle es gran toque de emoción a la misma.

What I found strange, is one of the illegal activities they are doing in the depths of the ocean and I wondered where the authorities are, no doubt at those depths who is aware, since that is where it affects, perhaps it was so they could start it and create a motive.

   A production that, if we compare it with the first installment of the same, a great evolution is noticed, putting more effort and dedication to this and as this adventure and terror in the depths of the ocean is growing. Undoubtedly, each one of the shark movies goes to the same point of being able to eliminate this great threat, where each one has its own way and tactics to do it, and in some cases this happens because of the human being himself for invading his space. Even in this megalodon 2 stands out for the presence of the family and how the children's generation maintains that activity of studying the ocean, all to maintain that legacy, combining capacity and knowledge.

   Contamos con muchas escenas que son muy buenas, donde poco se muestra como van aplicando cada uno de los conocimientos para así poder acabar con todo, como otras escenas que uno se queda pensando como lo hicieron por lo exagerada, aun así logran una gran combinación. También la cantidad de efectos especiales para así poder resaltar cada detalle y se nota que son reales como si en verdad existieran, algo que han mejorado muchísimo, creando una gran conexión, y que los tiburones son lo que me mande y toman el control, puesto que nadie quiere estar cerca de uno de ellos. Lo que me pareció extraño, es una de las actividades ilegales que están haciendo en las profundidades del océano y me pregunté dónde están las autoridades, sin duda a esas profundidades quien está pendiente, puesto que de allí afecta, quizás era para así poder darle inicio a la misma y crear un motivo.

   Una producción que, si la comparamos con la primera entrega de la misma, se nota una gran evolución, colocándole más empeño y dedicación a esta y como esa aventura y terror en las profundidades del océano va creciendo. Sin duda cada una de las películas de tiburones van al mismo punto de poder eliminar a esa gran amenaza, donde cada uno tiene su manera y táctica de hacerlo y en algunos casos eso ocurre por el mismo ser humanos por estar invadiendo su espacio. En incluso en esta megalodon 2 se destaca por la presencia de la familia y como la generación de los hijos mantiene esa actividad de estudiar el océano, todo sea para mantener ese legado, combinando la capacidad y el conocimiento.

Donde nuevamente el héroe es Jason Statham, quien siempre se destaca por la manera como va resolviendo cada una de las cosas y su manera de pensar y hacer las cosas lo ha llevado a la cima y está muy loco para enfrentarse con tiburones prehistóricos, además la joven quien está comenzando en ese gran mundo de estudiar y su presencia es de gran ayuda, ya que permite pasar buenos momentos. Todo un gran equipo, capacitado y con mucha valentía para estar allí combatiendo con esos tiburones de gran tamaño, demostrando que el trabajo en equipo siempre facilitará las cosas.

   It achieved a lot of expectations and a movie of great quality, where I liked it a lot and for the time it lasts it is perfect, where shark movies may be very repetitive, but they will not go out of fashion, where that kind of situations and taking the role of being there with those creatures must not be easy at all. So it's a very good story and I'm sure it has to continue, because in the depths of the sea there are still a lot of mysteries and things that have not been discovered. So friends if you want to have a little scare and you like sharks, I recommend it.

   Logro muchas expectativas y una película de gran calidad, donde me gustó mucho y para el tiempo que dura es perfecta, donde las películas de tiburones podrán ser muy repetitivas, pero no pasarán de moda, donde ese tipo de situaciones y tomar el papel de estar allí con esas criaturas no debe ser nada fácil. Así que es una historia muy buena y estoy seguro de que tiene que continuar, ya que en las profundidades del mar todavía quedan muchos misterios y cosas que no han sido descubiertas. Así que amigos si quieres llevarte un pequeño susto y te gustan los tiburones, te la recomiendo.

   En esta ocasión les presentó Megalodon 2, una película que tenía un buen tiempo esperando tener la oportunidad de verla, pero he de admitir que no fue tan buena como esperaba, pero aun así fue un poco entretenida de ver debido a que uno de mis actores favoritos se encontraba interpretando su papel en ella.

   En esta película, veremos al gran Jason Statham interpretando el papel de Jonas Taylor, donde él y un grupo de científicos descubren que en las profundidades de una gran fosa se encuentra una especie de depredadores capas de crear el caos en la superficie, pero estas enormes criaturas se encuentran en su abitad natural sin causar ningún tipo de problemas, hasta que un grupo de "piratas" con su tecnología decide irrumpir su privacidad para la extracción de un nuevo mineral que se encuentra en esta fosa.

   Al enterarse del tipo de predadores deciden llamar a Jonas un experto en supervivencia y militar marino, al principio según nos revela la película, Jonas no tenía muchas ganas de apoyar, hasta enterarse de que estos depredadores era toda una manada de Megalodones, los más grandes que nunca en su vida haya visto.

   Al comienzo, estos científicos se encargaban de estudiar e investigar sobre el Megalodon más grande de la "historia", intentaban usar mucha tecnología para poderlo controlar a sus gustos, la cabeza de esta investigación es Jiuming Zhang interpretado por Jing Wu, quien ha estado estudiando el comportamiento de este Megalodon e intenta domarlo, las razones del porqué aún se desconocen.

   Jiuming descubre que una especie de sonido los atrae y los calma, pero justo antes de descubrir la tecnología perfecta para poderlo domar, un extraño fenómeno despierta el verdadero instinto asesino de esta poderosa bestia, donde este los guía a una inmensa fosa donde deberán de sobrevivir a dos cosas, la primera de ellas es de la multitud de Megalodones que hay y de los piratas, pero deben hacerlo todo en silencio para que estos no arrasen con todos.

   Hay muchas cosas que me gustaron de esta película, la primera de ellas es la exploración que tuvieron los científicos para poder sobrevivir ante todas las complicaciones que el océano les estaba dando, y no estoy mencionando solamente a los piratas y a los megalodones.

   En primer lugar, la investigación que tuvieron que hacer para poder resistir las altas presión de la profundidad del océano, estamos hablando ya de una fosa donde ningún ser humano haya colocado su pie jamás, se requiere de una armadura lo bastante resistentes a la alta presión que hay en esa fosa.

   Otra de ellas es la supervivencia, porque no solamente se enfrentaban a unos piratas, sino a una gran cantidad de megalodones que estaban en ese lugar, si uno representaba una amenaza para la humanidad que sería de una tremenda cantidad.

   Otra de las cosas que me encantaron es la buena ambientación, sé que en la mayoría de las veces todo era bajo el océano, pero las maravillas que agregaron en esta película en esas profundidades era algo muy asombroso.

   El actor principal de esta película lo vuelve hacer, y es que luego de interpretar papeles que van más allá de la realidad humana, luego de manejar un carro a alta velocidad y hacer maniobras que nadie puede hacer, ahora lo vemos enfrentándose a un enorme tiburón (megalodon) sin ningún tipo de esfuerzo por su parte...

   Sinceramente, solo por esas escenas épicas hacen que las películas sean buenas, ya se imaginaran las grandes cosas que este actor puede hacer en la película, tan solo los dejaré con la incógnita 😜.

   Su supervivencia en el fondo del océano es sorprendente, hay cosas que no sabía que podían hacer los militares marinos para poder soportar una poca cantidad de presión bajo el agua y aguantar aún más la respiración, sin duda alguna este tipo de personas con esos oficios tienen una capacidad pulmonar más grande que las de un nadador olímpico.

   Las cosas que no me gustaron de esta película es la falta de realismo, si fuera algo en la vida real ya todos estuvieran muertos con nada más un solo megalodon, que quedara para miles de ellos, y según la historia, estas criaturas viven desde la era de los dinosaurios, donde veías que uno solo podía devorar entero a un tiranosaurio rex, algo demasiado exagerado a mi parecer, pero también pienso que puede ser real, solo que es difícil de creer.

   Ver a lo que se enfrenta el actor Jason Statham en esta película y salir sin ningún tipo de rasguño para mí fue muy emocionante, sin lugar a dudas cuando este actor aparece es porque la película tendrá mucha acción.

   Lo cierto es que esta película ha tenido muchas críticas por lo antes mencionado, la falta de realidad, ha tenido un 29% de la aprobación de los críticos, pero ha tenido un 73% de la audiencia, lástima que no todas las segundas partes de las películas sean buenas, Podemos ver estas críticas en Rotten tomatoes.

   Friends, in the beginning of this movie it is shown that someone is exercising inside a container, after a while it is shown that the person who was exercising is none other than the main character of this movie who is the hero. He makes a hole inside the container using explosives. Get out of there and take some pictures of different angles of the ship. Because there was something they were doing illegally. From there he jumped into the water after capturing the camera and rescued his accomplice. The beginning seemed very ordinary to me. Usually, the director presents the beginning of his story, the director wants to give a message at the beginning of the movie. In my opinion, this part A started completely differently from the way the first part started.

   Basically, I the way the director presented his story in the first part, I thought would be better than the second part, but in the second part, I felt like Kshetra Vishwas, the director mentioned some random events that didn't suit the movie. For example, one direction is shown at the end, there are many types of large animals attacking, which seems very random to me. In the first part, the director showed what is necessary for the sake of the story by focusing only on the main event, but in this part, the director tried to present it in a different way.    After watching the movie The Meg, I realized that I had to watch the newly released sequel The Meg 2: The Trench, I watched the movie knowing that watching the sequel had become a necessity rather than a curiosity. The sequel got off to such a great start that I saw the Megaladon (giant shark) vs. human fight that I expected to happen in the ocean suddenly come ashore.

   What, did the shark come ashore? Calm down, of course not. I watched some creatures whose extinction ended millions of years ago and remained in the dusty pages of history, fighting among themselves, and I felt like saying "calm down, there is enough meat for all of you".

   Meg 2: The Trench, the professional behavior of the characters and the constant sarcastic dialogues among themselves; I can say that it reduces the dose of tension in the story. The first movie was more successful in terms of tension. The second movie progressed more in the adventure-comedy genre and I can say with peace of mind that the genres I mentioned peaked with the final scene of the movie.

   While the vast majority are between TNMT and Barbie .... not to forget Oppenheimer, I went to see the second release of " MEG 2 " and to my surprise there were more than 5 cats watching it !!!!

   If you are fed up with the things that surround us and want to escape from this world (although here is something more violent) then here is MEG 2 a surrealistic movie that will give you comedy, action, horror and see absurd things, in short full of emotions.

   It is not a movie that will take an Oscar or any of those awards, but it fulfills to entertain.

   One Thing I will say is that in one Way Jason Statham communicates to the Spectator is: "Keanu Reeves with his John Wick Character is Phenomenal and Tom Cruise is still the Poster Child of Hollywood" but I Jason Statham am over them I didn't kill a few guys , but I killed 3 MEG by myself and without Powers some .... I'm their Dad !!!!
