Mi Opinión de Mi querida Oni/ My Opinion of My Oni Girl [ESP/ENG]@yasmarit92d
ENGLISH
Hello, dear friends at @TheAnimeRealm. Greetings and blessings to you all. Today I’m here to talk to you about a story in which pleasing others isn’t always the right thing to do. Sometimes you have to set boundaries and listen to what you truly want. Whether others appreciate or value you shouldn’t depend on what you do for them, but rather on what you yourself believe is best—especially if your happiness depends on it. This is about My Dear Oni.
Hiragi is a young man who likes to please everyone; he finds it hard to say no, even though he sometimes feels that people only seek him out out of self-interest or because they know he won’t refuse. For Hiragi, this is certainly an everyday occurrence; he can’t express his true feelings, so he simply prefers to stay silent and do things for others without really communicating his thoughts. At home, it’s the same: His father, thinking he knows what’s best for Hiragi but without considering what Hiragi truly wants, imposes his will on him. As Hiragi feels more and more that things aren’t right, he meets a rather peculiar person.
One day, he meets Tsumugi, a young oni (ogre). She looks just like a human, except she has a horn on her head. Without giving it much thought, Hiragi helps her, since she has just arrived from her village in search of her mother, who was sent to a temple near where they met. Tsumugi needs to find her, as it has been years since she last saw her. Although Hiragi doesn’t fully understand what’s going on, he helps her without hesitation, even taking her home so they can sort everything out and go to the temple the next day to look for Tsumugi’s mother. But without knowing what they’re up against, they’re both attacked by the Snow God.
He is a god who absorbs the life force of the Oni, though humans can also get caught up in it. Without giving it much thought, Hiragi and Tsumugi flee from him and set out to find Tsumugi’s mother. Along the way, they encounter people who need help in some way, and Hiragi steps in to help—which isn’t a bad thing, but it shouldn’t become a habit, so he’ll learn that helping is never a bad thing, but there are people who, if you don’t set boundaries, can take advantage of it and abuse your kindness. Likewise, when it comes to expressing your feelings, making assumptions isn’t good because everyone sees things differently. What one person might think is good for another might not be. That’s why speaking up and saying what you really want isn’t wrong, especially if it’s for your parents or the person you love. That’s why the adventure they both embark on will allow them to learn from this.

My review
The main message of the movie **My Oni Girl** is to find yourself and be with your feelings. The story of the anime is as funny as it is emotional. The gentle, adaptable nature of the boy named Hiro is worrying, but the presence of the strange and brave Oni girl changes that quiet world. This anime is not just a fantasy story, it is actually a story of friendship, self-discovery and mental freedom. Although Hiiragi and Tsumugi are opposites of each other, together they become an impossible pair.
I was impressed by the animation of Studio Colorido which was amazing. The background music and the use of colors and the creation of the environment made the movie very lively.
I liked the most the expression of the inner feelings of Oni and the scenes of the hero slowly finding himself. This is not just a fantasy story, it is a heart-touching journey. At the end of the movie, a wave of calm, yet deep thoughts arose in my mind.
Thanks you so much for reading. See you next :)
