Mowgli

Mowgli is a live-action film directed by Andy Serkis, based on Rudyard Kipling's classic The Legend of the Jungles. It is set in the jungle of India and follows Mowgli (played by Rohan Chand), a boy raised by wolves who struggles to find his way between humans and animals, while facing some dangers lurking in the jungle.

The film offers a unique and interesting perspective on this classic saga, bringing the viewer into the unknown world of India's jungle. I think it's done quite well for them. Netflix seem to have done a great job of capturing the original spirit of the story and providing something emotional and unexpected for their modern fans.

Chand stars alongside Andy Serkis (Baloo), Christian Bale (Bagheera), Cate Blanchett (Kaa), Benedict Cumberbatch (Shere Khan), Naomie Harris, Freida Pinto, Chris Hemsworth and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, who lend their voices to bring all these characters to life. Unlike the animated film, Mowgli takes it a step further, showing a slightly darker side with a script that is both sentimental and motivational.

Chand protagoniza la película junto a Andy Serkis (Baloo), Christian Bale (Bagheera), Cate Blanchett (Kaa), Benedict Cumberbatch (Shere Khan), Naomie Harris, Freida Pinto, Chris Hemsworth y Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, quienes prestan sus voces para darle vida a todos estos personajes. A diferencia del filme animado, Mowgli se va más allá, mostrando un lado un poco más oscuro con un guión de gran peso sentimental y motivador a la vez.

Graphics are very well done, showing the potential of CGI technology and third-person animation, with excellent details of animals, vegetation and water, although they could have been worked a little more.

The main theme song was named "Tiger Song", which was based on the traditional Indian song "Jungle raja par hookah bar". This triggered a cascade of beautiful melodies that reflect the epic cinematic adventures as the story progresses. In addition, there are recurring themes such as "The Wolf Boy's Theme" and "A Happy Home," which deepen the emotional undertones felt around the film.
