   Para nadie es un secreto que la película culpa mía se estrenó hace algún tiempo, que está inspirada en un libro que lleva el mismo nombre de la autora Mercedes Ron, que se publicó en la plataforma Wattpad. De historia se volvió súper popular en su momento y cuando separaron la película, pues tuvo muchísima audiencia porque ciertamente era más o menos fiel al libro. Yo la vi, al momento que se estrenó y recuerdo que me gustó, pero no es como que me haya encantado demasiado porque no era demasiado fan de este libro, pero la película sí fue bastante entretenida. Y ahora, después de un tiempo, volvieron a sacar otra película, pero de otra productora. Esa película yo no pensaba verla, porque los protagonistas no llamaban tanto mi atención, pero decidí darle una oportunidad un día que estaba bastante aburrido.

   It's no secret that the movie My Fault London was released some time ago, which is inspired by a book of the same name by the author Mercedes Ron, which was published on the Wattpad platform. The story became super popular at the time and when they separated the movie, it had a huge audience because it was certainly more or less faithful to the book. I saw it when it was released and I remember that I liked it, but it's not like I loved it too much because I wasn't too much of a fan of the book, but the movie was quite entertaining. And now, after a while, another movie came out again, but from another production company. I didn't plan to see that movie, because the main characters didn't call my attention that much, but I decided to give it a chance one day when I was quite bored.

   Cómo está una historia que ya se ha contado dos veces anteriormente, tanto en el libro original como en la primera película, les voy a hacer un pequeño resumen. Esta película nos trae como protagonista a Noah, una chica que debe mudarse en esta película exactamente para Londres, ya que su madre tiene un nuevo novio y quiere vivir con él y casarse básicamente. Ella tiene que cambiar toda su vida por los deseos de su madre. En esta nueva familia conoce a la pareja de su mamá, que es un millonario, y conoce a su hermanastro, Nick Leister. Ellos se llevan bastante mal desde un principio, pero poco a poco van pasando más tiempo juntos y a pesar de que son hermanastros, que se enamoran y comienzan a tener una relación. Esta película no trata nada más de eso, sino también de otros puntos como los traumas de Noah, debido a la situación con su papá, de también los traumas de con la relación que tenía con su mamá en el pasado y otras cosas más como las carreras de autos clandestinos.

   As this is a story that has already been told twice before, both in the original book and in the first movie, I will make a brief summary. This movie brings us as the main character Noah, a girl who has to move in this movie exactly for London, as her mother has a new boyfriend and wants to live with him and get married basically. She has to change her whole life because of her mother's wishes. In this new family she meets her mom's partner, who is a millionaire, and meets her stepbrother, Nick Leister. They get along quite badly from the beginning, but little by little they spend more time together and even though they are stepbrothers, they fall in love and begin to have a relationship. This movie is not only about that, but also about other points like Noah's traumas, due to the situation with his dad, also the traumas with the relationship he had with his mom in the past and other things like the clandestine car races.

   Ok, teniendo en cuenta el tipo de película que es, yo no me quiero centrar en sí es correcto o no que estos hermanastros hayan tenido una relación, siento que es algo que todo el mundo va a tener su opinión personal, a mí no es algo que me molesta ni me quita el sueño para poder opinar ni ver esta película, así que lo voy a obviar un poco. Ahora la relación de estos dos debo decir que en esta película si sentí que la maquillaron un poco, es decir que la hicieron un poquito menos tóxica, o una relación un poquito más sana y que se vio un poco más fluida que en la primera película que si siento que fue muy Enemies To Lovers y que en su momento recordó demasiado al libro eso tiene un punto a favor, pero en esta película quisieron suavizar todo un poco más y a mí la verdad me gustó.

   Ok, considering the type of movie it is, I don't want to focus on whether it's right or wrong that these step brothers had a relationship, I feel that's something that everyone is going to have their personal opinion, it's not something that bothers me or keeps me awake at night to have an opinion or watch this movie, so I'm going to skip it a little bit. Now the relationship of these two, I must say that in this movie I felt that they made it a little less toxic, or a little healthier relationship and that it was a little more fluid than in the first movie that I feel was very Enemies To Lovers and that at the time reminded too much to the book, that has a point in favor, but in this movie they wanted to soften everything a little more and I really liked it.

   Recordamos también que esta es una adaptación, las personas pueden hacer sus cambios y si funcionan, pues yo siento que está bien. Por otro lado, siento que cambiaron bastantes cosas como la relación con los padres, los que viven con ellos, los amigos siento que no tuvieron tanto protagonismo, y las escenas estuvieron bastante bien en líneas generales. La verdad siento que es una película que funciona para entretener, más no es una obra de arte. De recomendarla lo haría para personas que son bastante adolescentes o simplemente personas que quieran pasar el rato y ya sin buscar una historia demasiado profunda a pesar de qué esta los temas más delicados si nos toca un poco mejor que la primera película. Espero que les haya encantado conocer mis opiniones al respecto, nos leemos pronto!

   Let's also remember that this is an adaptation, people can make their changes and if they work, I feel it's fine. On the other hand, I feel that they changed quite a few things like the relationship with the parents, those who live with them, I feel that the friends did not have so much prominence, and the scenes were pretty good in general. The truth is that I feel it is a movie that works to entertain, but it is not a work of art. If I were to recommend it, I would recommend it for people who are quite teenagers or simply people who want to pass the time without looking for a story too deep, even though it has the most delicate issues, it touches us a little better than the first movie.    For some time, I've been contemplating about writing this. Actually,no that's not the point. I've always wanted to write on it since I saw it, but I just kept watching more and other movies,animes and it went under the rug. Not until,I heard my roommate talk about seeing a new my fault movie somewhere and I remembered it again.

   Now,My fault is a novel turned movie... It originally has the Spanish version but this is a new type and more modern-ish if that makes any sense.

   Source The movie stepped into the world sometime this year and it was everywhere on my fyp. I don't know,my for you page literally be stalking and watching my every move and reading my mind because WHAT!? And it used to and still is a Wattpad book;) _{love Wattpad sm}.

   My fault(London) revolves around a girl Noah. Noah doesn’t want a new life. She doesn’t want a mansion, a new last name, or a stepbrother with sharp cheekbones and an even sharper attitude. But life;messy, inconvenient life,rarely asks for permission. And so begins My Fault (London), a film that dips its toes into forbidden romance, trauma, and rebellion, then cannonballs straight in.

   Dragged away from her old world by her mother Rafaela, who’s moving in with wealthy boyfriend William, Noah finds herself planted in a luxurious London estate that feels more like a museum than a home. The chandeliers are nice. The silence is loud. And then she meets Nick,William’s son. He’s moody, mysterious, and seems to have a permanent appointment with danger. Also, he races cars at night. Of course he does.

   Source From the jump, Noah and Nick clash like oil and fire. But the sparks? Oh, they’re undeniable. What starts as mutual irritation slowly morphs into something charged, complicated, and very much not parental-approval-friendly. You’d think “don’t fall for your stepbrother” would be a universal rule, but here we are—side glances, late-night confessions, and a connection that feels as inevitable as it is impossible.

   The film is careful with its revelations. Nick’s past? Not clean. Noah’s? Not quiet. They each carry wounds they pretend not to notice until the other does. Their relationship, while thrilling, is also their way of navigating grief, guilt, and growing up far too fast. There are threats from the outside,violent ones but some of the most dangerous moments happen when the house goes quiet and truths begin to surface.

   My Fault (London) balances its chaos with surprisingly grounded themes: healing, freedom, and the sometimes-blurry line between love and escape. It doesn’t moralize. It doesn’t try to tie things up too neatly. Instead, it leans into the mess,the kind that comes from broken families, hidden pasts, and feelings you’re not supposed to have but can’t turn off.

   Source It’s not here to be subtle, and it doesn’t need to be. If you’re into emotionally-charged romance, a dash of street racing, and morally questionable decisions wrapped in beautiful lighting, this one's for you. Just... maybe don’t bring it up at family dinner.

   ¡Hola Hola Comunidad! ✨, últimamente con el poco tiempo libre que tengo se me hace bastante complicado ver series o películas, sobre todo series, así que por esa razón he estado un poco perdida de mis reseñas, no obstante desde que salió el trailer de la película de la que hablaremos hoy, supe que quería verla básicamente para compararla con la versión española, porque aunque aquí no hubo reseña de esa historia, la verdad es que sí la vi jaja, y es por esa razon que aqui les comparto mi opinión sobre Culpa Mía: Londres.

   Hello Hello Community! ✨, lately with the little free time I have it's been quite complicated for me to watch series or movies, especially series, so for that reason I've been a little lost of my reviews, however since the trailer of the movie we will talk about today came out, I knew I wanted to see it basically to compare it with the Spanish version, because although here there was no review of that story, the truth is that I did see it haha, and that's why here I share my opinion about My Fault: London.

   🏎️ SINOPSIS || SYNOPSIS 💖

   El mundo de Noah ha dado un gran cambio, y es que su madre se ha enamorado de un millonario inglés y ahora ambas deben mudarse de Estados Unidos a Londres, ahora no solo deberá adaptarse a vivir en un nuevo país alejada de sus viejos amigos, sino que también tendrá que lidiar con la presencia de Nick, su antipático hermanastro, con quien a pesar de llevarse pésimo desde el primer momento, también parece tener una misteriosa atracción. Sin embargo, el pasado siempre puede regresar, y Noah tiene una historia turbulenta que parece seguirla a donde quiera que vaya.

   Noah's world has taken a big change when his mother has fallen in love with an English millionaire and now they both have to move from the United States to London. Not only will he have to adjust to living in a new country away from his old friends, but he will also have to deal with the presence of Nick, his unfriendly stepbrother, with whom he seems to have a mysterious attraction, despite getting along with him from the very beginning. However, the past can always come back, and Noah has a troubled history that seems to follow her wherever she goes.

   🏎️ CARRERAS DE COCHES Y HERMANASTROS || CAR RACES AND STEP-SIBLINGS 💖

   Quiero empezar mi opinión diciendo que esta versión me gustó más que la española por diversas razones, y muchas incluyen el hecho de que siento que el protagonista de esta versión actua 10 veces mejor, ahora bien yo nunca he leído los libros, y a estas alturas no creo que los lea porque ya no es un género que disfrute, por esa razón no podría hablar de cuál de las dos películas es más fiel al material original del libro, por lo que aquí solo la juzgare como película, y es en base a eso que también puedo decir que me gusta mas esta version que la española.

   I want to start my opinion by saying that I liked this version better than the Spanish version for several reasons, and many include the fact that I feel that the main character in this version acts 10 times better, now I have never read the books, and at this point I do not think I read them because it is no longer a genre I enjoy, for that reason I could not speak of which of the two films is more faithful to the original material of the book, so here I will only judge it as a film, and it is on that basis that I can also say that I like this version better than the Spanish one.

   La historia es exactamente la misma, pero uno de los principales puntos positivos que le adjudico a esta versión, es que le bajan muchísimo a la toxicidad del personaje de Nick, y no es que justifican sus actos violentos pero si senti que le dieron cierta redención, además algo fundamental es que le dan más diálogos, o sea no solo se quedan con la atracción que sienten Noah y Nick y que es evidente desde el inicio de la película, sino que construyen su relación en base a conversaciones cotidianas y actos que no son sexualizados, que es basicamente mi problema con la mayoría de películas actuales de este estilo, que todas están hipersexualizadas y rayan en lo incómodo e irreal.

   The story is exactly the same, but one of the main positive points that I attribute to this version, is that they lower the toxicity of Nick's character a lot, and not that they justify his violent acts but I do feel that they gave him some redemption, and also something fundamental is that they give him more dialogue, I mean they don't just stick with the attraction that Noah and Nick feel and that is evident from the beginning of the film, but they build their relationship based on everyday conversations and acts that are not sexualized, which is basically my problem with most current films of this style, they are all hypersexualized and border on the uncomfortable and unreal.

   El inicio de la película si se siente un poco anticlimático, y quizas ahí si le doy un punto a la versión española, pues en dicha versión desde el inicio queda medio explicado la razón por la cual Nick y Noah se llevan mal, básicamente porque Noah es genuinamente insoportable y Nick un tonto, pero aquí la verdad es que en su primer encuentro ya había como riña entre ellos y un malhumor que no quedó explicado nunca, lo cual hace que la transicion entre “nos caemos mal” a “nos gustamos” se sienta apresurada, a pesar de haber construido la relación de una forma adecuada, el comienzo deja bastante que desear.

   The beginning of the film does feel a bit anticlimactic, and maybe that's where I give a point to the Spanish version, because in that version from the beginning it's half explained why Nick and Noah don't get along, basically because Noah is genuinely unbearable and Nick is a fool, but here the truth is that in their first meeting there was already a sort of quarrel between them and a bad mood that was never explained, which makes the transition from "we don't like each other" to "we like each other" feel rushed, despite having built the relationship in an adequate way, the beginning leaves something to be desired.

   🏎️ ACTUACIONES Y DEMÁS DETALLES || PERFORMANCES AND OTHER DETAILS 💖

   Como dije al inicio, uno de los elementos que más destaco de esta película son las actuaciones, sin embargo esto se limita solo a los protagonistas porque el resto de personajes a pesar de tener participaciones pequeñas, realmente no me terminan de convencer, o sentía sus actuaciones un poco exageradas o sino apagadas, tal es el caso de los padres de Nick y Noah que para mi fueron básicamente inexistentes en toda la trama, y perdieron un poco la relevancia de sus personajes en la historia.

   Ahora bien, los protagonistas me convencieron completamente con sus actuaciones, sobre todo Nick que logra eso que a veces es bastante difícil, ser coqueto y sensual sin dar cringe, aparte creo que le favorece tener escenas tiernas que te hacen empatizar con su personaje, Noah en este caso se muestra con mayor fortaleza, y la actriz hace un trabajo impecable en mostrar el pánico que siente su personaje en escenarios específicos.

   As I said at the beginning, one of the elements that stand out the most in this film are the performances, however this is limited only to the main characters because the rest of the characters, despite having small participations, don't really convince me, or I felt their performances a little exaggerated or dull, such is the case of the parents of Nick and Noah that for me were basically nonexistent in the whole plot, and lost a little the relevance of their characters in the story.

   However, the main characters convinced me completely with their performances, especially Nick who achieves what is sometimes quite difficult, to be flirtatious and sensual without giving cringe, besides I think it favours him to have tender scenes that make you empathize with his character, Noah in this case is shown with greater strength, and the actress does an impeccable job in showing the panic that his character feels in specific scenarios.

   Sí debo decir que hay juegos de edición que aunque son acertados, se sienten repetitivos, cuando aparecen por primera vez tienen el efecto que deben tener, pero cuando lo hacen por tercera o cuarta vez, ya el efecto deja de estar y parece más bien que no tienen los recursos creativos necesarios para hacer otro tipo de edición, igual pasa con ciertas secuencias de escenas que dan la impresión de haber sido incluidas en la película por puro relleno, porque rompen un poco la evolución que los personajes han desarrollado a lo largo de la historia y al menos a mi, me generaron una cierta desconexión.

   When they appear for the first time they have the effect they should have, but when they appear for the third or fourth time, the effect is no longer there and it seems that they don't have the necessary creative resources to make another type of editing. The same happens with certain sequences of scenes that give the impression of having been included in the film purely for filler, because they break a little the evolution that the characters have developed throughout the story and at least for me, they generated a certain disconnection.

   ¿Recomiendo ver esta película?, pues si no tienes otra pelicula o serie que ver adelante, es una historia entretenida que está buena para pasar el rato, si ya viste la versión española y quieres comparar pues también puedes verla y estoy segura que la disfrutaras, ¿considero que era necesaria esta nueva versión?, la respuesta a eso es no, porque aunque la versión española no sea de mi agrado sigue siendo muy reciente su estreno y ya ha logrado reunir un fandom, así que es raro hacer otra versión y que además sea de la misma plataforma. Si quieres darle una oportunidad a esta película, la encuentras disponible en Prime Video.

   I recommend watching this movie, well if you don't have another movie or series to watch go ahead, it's an entertaining story that is good to pass the time, if you already saw the Spanish version and want to compare you can also watch it and I'm sure you will enjoy it, do I think this new version was necessary?, the answer to that is no, because although the Spanish version is not to my liking it is still very recent its release and has already managed to gather a fandom, so it is rare to make another version and it is also from the same platform. If you want to give this film a chance, you can find it available on Prime Video.
