I often watch movies about people with cancer or dementia, or people who are seriously ill. Dying Young (1992), Beaches (1988), Bucket List (2007), My Life (1993), Wit (2001), and The Savages (2007) are the first I remember, but I was attached to a lot of movies... If The Bible provides a concept rather than a real life story, the movie makes me reflect on the punishment that might be inflicted on me if I didn't live well. The idea is to show a (virtual) practical situation that makes it happen.

My Life (1993) is a film starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman as a married couple, the story of Bob, who is in his mid-40s , and his pregnant wife , about the last three months of Bob's death of cancer. no see. Bob, a man who distanced himself from his parents and older brother and worked hard for success, eventually reached a very capable executive at a large PR company as a result of his hard work from a young age, but his relationships with people around him except for his wife, Gail. was as bad as the relationship he had with his parents and older brother he had been so far away from (the views of those around him are reflected in a recording mistake he made for his subordinates as he prepares to die): He was perceived as an unlucky colleague rather than a single person. When he finds out too late that he is failing in relationships with his family and his colleagues, he begins to regret his past life. When the top oncologist in New York had no choice but to give up, he was forced to receive herbal treatment on the recommendation of his wife, but he was reluctant when the Chinese doctor said, "You can enjoy peace in the afterlife only by emptying your mind and eliminating fear and hatred." .

But in the end, during his treatment, he reconciles with his parents and brother through the persuasion of his wife, oriental medicine doctor, a hospice specialist hired to take care of the last few months, and his mother-in-law, and his family secretly prepares a gift for him. - Bringing the circus he had dreamed of as a child to his backyard so he can have a good time with the whole family - And a few days later, he dies with his wife by his side.

Although the whole movie is sad, it also depicts hope that is not vaguely vague. But the really sad part is when Bob makes a tutorial video for his soon-to-be-born son. With meticulous details on how to shake hands, how to make friends with boys his age, how to fix cars, and stories about women, the process of preparing for his son's first 20 years, whom he will not be able to share, brings tears to his eyes. let it flow

I think it is important to check and balance life to see and feel that there are people who are desperately struggling to sustain their lives because they are sick somewhere. Even if you see me trying to find "an opportunity to stimulate and wake me up" like this, at least for me, the world is not becoming a better place to live.
