La serie llamada My Mad Fat Diary trata sobre Rae Earl una chica que tiene sobre peso y que lucha con sus demonios internos mientras que va narrando en un diario todo lo que le va sucediendo.
Fuente Rae al comienzo de la serie está internada en una clínica por haber intentado una vez más quitarse la vida, casi lograndolo. Mi partes favoritas de las series fueron, el descubrimiento de la banda Oasis, ver el proceso de mejoramiento de Rae en cuanto a sus inseguridades y cuando conoce a su psicologo, que ella odia a muerte desde el primer momento pero que este poco a poco va logrando abrir la coraza que tiene Rae y que al final terminan siendo buenos amigos.
Fuente Rae descubrirá lo que es la verdadera amistad, el amor y el desamor, pero al final todo estará bien. También se reencontrara con su padre con el cual tiene conflictos por haberse ido de la casa abandonandola cuando estaba muy pequeña.
Cosa que su madre siempre trato de ocultar el olvido de su padre hacia su hija fingiendo que su papá le mandaba postales de todos los lugares a los que viajaba pero que esto siempre fue una mentira de su madre y era ella misma quien escribía las postales para que Rae no se sintiera mal.
En fin, está serie me encantó y el final fue necesario. Gracias a esta serie aprendí que todos llevamos algo dentro que no queremos que los demás sepan y que siempre es necesario buscar ayuda si tu no puedes sólo con cualquier situación que se presente en tu vida.
