Hello friends, welcome to my blog, it's been a long time since I saw a thriller that from the beginning kept me so on edge and that gave me that feeling of wanting to get into the plot like this film "No Exit", the film is based on the adaptation of the book of the same name by writer Taylor Adams. Directed by Damien Power, who despite having a low budget made a quality film. A script by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari who gave it that claustrophobic, suspenseful and trapped feeling. This film takes us on a suspenseful journey that will keep us on edge.
Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, hacia mucho tiempo que no veía un thriller que desde el principio me mantuviera tan al vilo y que me diera esa sensación de querer meterme en la trama como esta cinta “No Exit”, la película esta basada en la adaptación del libro de mismo nombre del escritor Taylor Adams. Dirigido por Damien Power, que a pesar de contar con un bajo presupuesto hizo una película de calidad. Un guion de Andrew Barrer y Gabriel Ferrari quienes le imprimieron ese sentimiento claustrofóbico, de suspenso y de sentirse atrapado. Esta cinta nos lleva por un viaje de suspenso que nos mantendrán al vilo.

Starring Havana Rose Liu (Darby), she is a girl who is in drug rehabilitation, who is a repeat offender and because of this her family does not want to know about her. While she is at the clinic, she receives a call from her informing her that her mother is in serious condition in the hospital due to a brain aneurysm. She escapes to go see her mother, but on the way to meet her, a snowstorm breaks out, preventing him from reaching her destination. She must go to a shelter to wait out the storm to continue her journey. She there she will meet other travelers. Ash (Danny Ramirez), Lars (David Rysdah), Ed (Dennis Hsysbert) and Sandi (Dale Dickey), Ed's wife. With no internet or phone signal due to the storm, everyone must wait there until the storm ends.
Protagonizada por Havana Rose Liu (Darby), es una chica que se encuentra en rehabilitación de drogas, que es reincidente y que debido a ello su familia no quiere saber de ella. Estando en la clínica recibe una llamada comunicándole que su madre esta grave en el hospital por un aneurisma cerebral. Ella escapa para ir a ver a su madre, pero en camino a su encuentro, se desata una tormenta de nieve, la cual le impide llegar a su destino. Debe ir a un refugio a esperar que pase la tormenta para continuar su viaje. Allí se encontrará con otros viajeros. Ash (Danny Ramirez), Lars (David Rysdah), Ed (Dennis Hsysbert) y Sandi (Dale Dickey), esposa de Ed. Sin señal de internet, ni telefónica por la tormenta, todos deberán aguardar allí hasta que la tormenta termine.

Havana (Darby), trying to find a signal on her cell phone, leaves the shelter towards the parking lot and discovers a girl (Mila Harris), gagged in a Van. Without knowing who the owner of the Van is, nor her kidnapper, she must find out who she is before the storm ends. The clock starts ticking and she doesn't know who to trust. Alone and without her help, she knows that the girl depends on her to save herself from her. Each one of her shelter mates is a potential enemy and knowing them now is a priority to know who owns the Van.
Havana (Darby), tratando de buscar señal en su cell sale del refugio hacia el aparcadero y descubre a una niña (Mila Harris), amordazada en una Van. Sin saber quién es el dueño de la Van, ni su secuestrador, deberá averiguar quién es antes que la tormenta acabe. El reloj comienza andar y ella no sabe en quién confiar. Sola y sin ayuda sabe que la niña depende de ella para salvarse. Here begins a series of situations and twists that will keep you alert to discover the kidnapper and Darcy will need all his cunning and intelligence to discover the plot. I liked the film because it comes from less to more, step by step it increases its plot and with it the emotion. Havana's performance is masterful and believable, she does not pretend to be a superhero, she is someone who finds herself in a difficult and desperate situation, who decides to do the right thing even though she is in danger. Another one of the great actors in Ed (Hsysbert), who I love even though he didn't have a great role.
Acá comienzan una serie de situaciones y giros que te mantendrán atentos para descubrir al secuestrador y Darcy necesitará de toda su astucia e inteligencia para descubrir la trama. La cinta me gusto porque viene de menos a más, paso a paso va aumentando su trama y con ello la emoción. La actuación de Havana es magistral y creíble, no pretende ser una super héroe, es alguien que se encuentra en una situación difícil y desesperante, que decide hacer lo correcto a pesar que su vida corra peligro. Otro de los grandes actores en Ed (Hsysbert), quién me encanta a pesar que no tuvo un gran rol.

In summary, it is a film that does not have impressive action scenes or a large budget, but despite this, it is worth seeing for its performances, for that suspense that they print from less to more and that makes you move from your seat. . What this film proves is that you don't need big locations or a budget to make a movie worth watching, just solid performances, a script that works and a director that sets the tone and takes you in the right direction. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you do it, if you like thrillers and suspense. My rating 8 out of 10.
En resumen, es una película que no cuenta con escenas de acción impresionantes o un gran presupuesto, pero que a pesar de ello vale la pena ver por sus actuaciones, por ese suspenso que le imprimen de menos a más y que te hace mover del asiento. Lo que demuestra esta cinta es que no necesitas grandes locaciones, ni presupuesto para hacer una película que valga la pena ver, solo actuaciones sólidas, un guion que funcione y un director que marque la pauta y te lleve en la direccion correcta. Sino la has visto te recomiendo que lo hagas, si te gusta los thrillers y el suspenso. Mi calificación 8 de 10.
