Greetings my dear Hivers, especially those who read me and those who bring #MoviesAndTVShows to life. I'm around again today to share with you about a romantic film that I love. Yes, just as you read, a romantic film. And that's because if you've read my previous reviews, you'll know that my favorite genre is horror/suspense. But this time I'm going to tell you about No Reservations, a romantic comedy with dramatic touches that will touch anyone's heart.

This movie was released back in 2007 and for me, it became a classic. I found its story of romance different and very beautiful. With life lessons, a detail that very few movies this year have decided to take into account.

I enjoyed the performances of Zeta-Jones and Eckhart. I noticed their chemistry, and they conveyed their peculiar love in the most tender way possible. Plus, they added that touch of courtship to the plot that has been lost over time.

I also identified with Kate for being so controlling, not knowing how to show affection as it is usually done, and being a born leader obsessed with her job.

And while I noticed a lot of sensuality from both actors, they made it come across with a lot of feeling, where it was more important an emotion than just getting to have sex with someone or trying to get to that point. Here they show how to take your time, especially when one of the people involved in the relationship is hard to cope with.

They also show how life can change in the blink of an eye, turning everything upside down and finding the best way to adapt to these changes.

Seeing how life takes its course and forges relationships for the better was one of the things I enjoyed most about this film. Watching the relationship grow between Kate and her niece, and then how through her she manages to get involved with Nick.

Here everything simply flows, with its ups and downs, but what it teaches is that you must give yourself a chance to open yourself to love and all that it entails. Nobody said it's easy, it's like jumping into the void but if you don't try, you close yourself to many blessings that will come into your life. This kind of movie makes me believe in love every time I watch it and two days ago I had the opportunity to enjoy it 2 times. And yes, I like it and I never get tired of watching it. Saludos mis queridos Hivers, en especial a aquellos que me leen y a los que dan vida a #MoviesAndTVShows. Estoy de nuevo hoy por aquí para compartir con ustedes sobre una película romántica que me encanta. Sí, así como leen, un film romántico. Y es que si has leído mis reseñas anteriores, sabrás que mi género favorito es de terror/suspenso. Pero en esta ocasión les hablaré de Sin Reservas, una comedia romántica con toques dramáticos que le llegan al corazón a cualquiera.

Esta película se estrenó por allá en el 2007 y para mí se volvió un clásico. Su historia de romance me resultó diferente y muy linda. Con enseñanzas de vida, detalle que actualmente muy pocas películas este año han decidido tomar en cuenta.

Yo disfruté mucho de las actuaciones de Zeta-Jones y de Eckhart, es decir, les noté química y me transmitieron su amor peculiar de la manera más tierna posible. Además de que agregaron a la trama ese toque de cortejo que se ha perdido con el tiempo.

Además me sentí identificada con Kate, por ser tan controladora, no saber demostrar afecto como se suele hacer normalmente y a la vez ser una líder nata obsesionada con su trabajo.

Y aunque noté mucha sensualidad por parte de ambos actores, lo hicieron ver con mucho sentimiento, donde era más importante una emoción que solamente llegar a tender sexo con alguien o tratarlo hasta llegar a ese punto. Aquí muestran cómo hay que tomarse el tiempo, sobre todo cuando una de las personas involucradas en la relación es realmente difícil de sobrellevar.

También muestran cómo la vida puede cambiar en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, volteando todo de cabeza y buscando la mejor manera para adaptarse a estos cambios.

Ver cómo la vida toma su curso y va forjando las relaciones para mejor fue una de las cosas que más me gustó de este film. Ver crecer la relación entre Kate y su sobrina, y luego cómo a través de ella se logra involucrar con Nick.

Aquí simplemente todo va fluyendo, con sus altas y bajas, pero lo que de verdad enseña es que debes darte una oportunidad para abrirte al amor y todo lo que eso conlleva. Nadie dijo que es fácil, es como saltar al vacío pero si no lo intentas, te cierras a muchas bendiciones que llegarán a tu vida. Este tipo de películas me hace creer en el amor cada vez que la veo y hace dos días tuve la oportunidad de disfrutarla 2 veces. Y es que sí, me gusta mucho y no me canso de verla. Por eso le otorgo sus:

Siento una debilidad por las películas que meten temas gastronómicos, supongo por el placer de ver deliciosa comida y el quehacer en las cocinas. No Reservations agarra ese contexto, así que decidí darle una oportunidad. La película fue estrenada el 2007, siendo el director Scott Hicks. Los protagonistas están representados por Catherine Zeta-Jones y Aaron Eckhart.

I have a weakness for movies that involve gastronomic themes, I guess for the pleasure of watching delicious food and the work that goes on in kitchens. No Reservations grabs that context, so I decided to give it a chance. The film was released in 2007, with director Scott Hicks. The leads are played by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart.

Kate es una chef, ella es metódica, perfeccionista y que vive para su trabajo. Es cuando por infortunios de la vida, ella se verá obligada a vivir con su sobrina Zoe, cambiando su vida de una día para otro; a su vez, en el restaurante que dirige, un nuevo compañero de trabajo(Nick), con una extravagante personalidad, le hara dificil(¿o no?) pasar por esta transición en su vida.

Kate is a chef, she is methodical, perfectionist and lives for her work. It is when by life's misfortunes, she will be forced to live with her niece Zoe, changing her life from one day to another; at the same time, in the restaurant she manages, a new co-worker (Nick), with a flamboyant personality, will make it difficult (or not?) to go through this transition in her life.

Es una cinta del género romántico con toques de comedia. Sobre la trama, si bien tiene un inicio interesante, acabado siendo demasiado simple, la tensión es escasa, haciéndola predecible. Tal vez lo divertido de este tipo de filmes sea ver cómo poco a poco se va formando la relación entre la pareja principal, pero en eso acaba también cayendo en tópicos y repito, predecible.

It is a romantic film with touches of comedy. As for the plot, although it has an interesting beginning, it ends up being too simple, the tension is scarce, making it predictable. Perhaps the fun of this type of film is to see how little by little the relationship between the main couple is formed, but in that it also ends up falling into clichés and I repeat, predictable.

En la actuación y otros aspectos técnicos todo lo veo aceptable; y como mencione al comienzo, los despliegues y acciones en una cocina de restaurante gourmet, al menos en mi caso, siempre es entretenido de ver.

In the acting and other technical aspects everything is acceptable; and as I mentioned at the beginning, the displays and actions in a gourmet restaurant kitchen, at least in my case, is always entertaining to watch.

Concluyó que si bien no es una película mala, acaba siendo demasiado regular, y salvo que tengas esa debilidad como yo con los escenarios de cocina, te recomiendo que pases de verla.

I concluded that while it is not a bad movie, it ends up being too regular, and unless you have that weakness like me with kitchen scenarios, I recommend you to pass on watching it.
