I had no lust for the normal tv shows and am slowly getting into the early new 2020 Christmas spirit so when my eye say this new film on Netflix I decided to go for it on the couch with hot chocolate with little marshmallows.
Congressional assistant and beauty Erica Miller, pursuing a HR promotion, forfeits a Christmas with the family to travel across the Pacific on behalf of her boss the congress lady. She cannot stay with her family for Chris. Upon landing at a beachfront air force base, she collides with her guide, Captain Andrew Jantz, who knows her job is to dismantle the facility. The pilot's pet project - Operation: Christmas Drop, a decades-old tradition of parachuting gifts and supplies to residents of remote neighboring islands - has led lawmakers to wonder if his unit has too much energy left. Despite their initially conflicting goals, Erica is slowly mending.

This is at the end of the movie. So I looked it up on Wikipedia and this is the historical fact.
Operation Christmas Drop is a tradition that started in 1952 that serves as a training mission for the U.S. Air Force. It has since become the longest-running U.S. Department of Defense mission in full operation, and the longest-running humanitarian airlift in the world. Supported by the local communities of Guam, it is primarily conducted from Andersen Air Force Base and Yokota Air Base, and targets Micronesia.
Operation Christmas Drop the movie takes place in Guam, and Netflix actually filmed on location there. The real military-run Operation Christmas Drop is run out of Andersen Air Force Base each year, which is located in Yigo, Guam.
Just a lovely story and a feel good movie just to have some fun.

Hello everyone.
Christmas is just around the corner and Netflix is bombing us with a lot of movie suggestions to watch. I've watched like 3 of them so far but the one I'll be talking about today was my favorite.
• Genre: romantic comedy • Directed by Martin Wood • Produced by Brad Krevoy • Release date November 5, 2020 • Distributed by Netflix • Runnin Time 95 min
It is a romantic comedy to enjoy with the family based on a real-life U.S Air Force humanitarian mission. The plot focuses on a young conference attendee who aspires to a successful career in politics. She is charged with overseeing and investigating the source of resources funding a humanitarian mission that the military has been carrying out in Guam.
By settling on the island she has the opportunity to observe closely how the collaboration and goodwill of all the people involved have the power to change lives and bring joy to many people. The journey that was intended to dismantle this operation ends up becoming a reminder of why the young assistant and the congresswoman she works forgot their start in the world of politics.
For us, it is also a gentle reminder to remain friendly, positive, and supportive.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting.
Best regards.
