  1. Rebel Moon Part 2 | Review [ENG-ESP]@davidpena21723d

    rebel mon part 2.jpg Source

I was very happy with the result they managed to do with the Rebel Moon movie, where the plot had to continue, since it is a very wide world full of challenges and adventures to solve, where they immediately released the second part betting again large amounts of money, time, dedication and thus return to get a great success, being very shocking, since most of the time that effect is not achieved, plus a genre such as science fiction and the slightest mistake can damage everything or even be very exaggerated, so Rebel Moon both part one and two, are a wonder in the world of cinema.

The story for this second part continues, with a very tense setting, complicated and many things that were left unresolved from the first installment, where as the minutes go by things come out that one is very shocked and everything is having a relationship that allows to understand everything in this world. In addition, a new adventure begins in this second part that allows it to be more attractive and to be able to get hooked, as well as once again the setting, the elements that are used are of great quality and highlighting that they put more effort to this part, where we wonder if they can destroy everything, will it be the last battle in that world, and many other new things that are coming out to make it a complete plot.

Once again the technology and each of the elements that are related to it are of great impact and increasingly modern, with more potential and especially how they use it throughout the plot, since each character gives a different use and even many of them do not know what to do with so many advances and prefer traditional things, so it is a great combination between the present and the future, that is, it keeps that mentality of aspects such as war, operations that wherever you go will always be the same and thus to end all the threats that are out there.

As the adventures for this second installment go by, we notice how the team that was created is increasingly solid, strong, although each of them has a personality and a way of thinking, however, they are all for the same goal of fighting and defending. In addition, we have the presence of a new large spaceship, which gives a unique and very striking touch to the delivery, since it is of great impact and begins a new system of defense, attack and with many things that are easier, highlighting that science fiction and very similar to Star Wars, by the way they make an appearance.

They keep the same characters that make life in the first installment and each of them brings value, since we have many personalities that in the end become a great team capable of defeating a whole universe full of problems and threats. In addition, new enemies to face in this second part and once again that action and adventure to defeat everything as quickly as possible.

A second installment that I found very good, fulfills the mission to entertain and above all to resolve the things left in the first installment, but once again it again leaves a gap there to give a continuation, we can also leave the aspects that characterize it are wars and battles that will always be the same for one where you go and the universe that is, therefore if you want to spend a great time of great action, I recommend it.

  2. Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver@cute-cactus750d

After the movie Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire, which I saw as the birth of a story, so I refrained from criticizing it too much, I finally watched its sequel, Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver.

    [source](https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/lHgipA5wT9iyAT0s2OLoT5WE4Wg.jpg)

Thus, the Rebel Moon film series, which is said to consist of two films, has been completed. First of all, Part Two literally means a continuation of where the first movie left off. The location was changed without any break in the story, and the struggle between the invading mother world and the rebellious villagers continued.

The presence of imitation scenes in the Rebel Moon films, which date back to Star Wars, seems to have disturbed some viewers, but I was not bothered by seeing influences from Star Wars in both films. Rebel Moon had its own story and ending.

The reasons why I stayed away from the first movie were that the science fiction aspect of the movie was weak, the story was too slow, and the final scene was kept too short. But despite everything, it was acceptable that this should be considered as the birth of a story and that the viewing pleasure was inadequate due to the detailed staging of the birth of the story.

    [source](https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/9g3kaqMDSG7aQVusHezVYSgZNxB.jpg)

Issues such as how the story will begin after the characters come together in the first movie, the rushed final scene, and how the story will be deepened for the second movie; It was a matter of curiosity on my part.

After watching the movie Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver, I saw that everything that I ignored and did not criticize in the first movie was continued exactly as it was. I argued that criticism should be limited because the first film was the birth of a story, but I do not have the same thoughts about Part Two.

In fact, when I returned to the beginning of the story, the created planet and its occupation and exploitation by the mother world and the inhabitants of the planet starting a rebellion and fighting back promised a great movie. Unfortunately, the film's momentum never rose above this height and constantly fell downwards.

    [source](https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/hBvrUWQiHY9VmyxM79xetmn7TCj.jpg)

It was within my expectations after the first movie that the Admiral would be portrayed so that the fight would continue, and I was not at all surprised by the animation scene in question. Another thing that is not surprising is that after it became clear that the occupation would continue; In order to provide depth to the story, the defense was to be held in the village.

Rebel Moon movies will remain in my mind as movies whose story is very good, but which gradually gets worse due to the lack of progress in the story and the lack of additions to the story. The fact that the heroes tried to be created and the science fiction aspect are weak do not add any value to the film.

There may be additions to the film series after the deepening hostility with the created planet and home world. The movie can be watched in order not to be left behind in the story, but I would advise you not to expect much from the long production. In fact, it is possible even if it is not watched.

  3. [ES-EN] Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver (Film Review)@joheredia21767d

    *[Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/filmimages.php?movie_id=898513)*

    *[Source](https://www.filmelier.com/mx/noticias/critica-rebel-moon-1-zack-snyder)*

    *[Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/filmimages.php?movie_id=898513)*

    Calificación:

    6.0 ⭐

    *[Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/filmimages.php?movie_id=898513)*

    **Rebel Moon** [English Version]

I had already seen the first part and of course I had to see this film to write my review on Hive, certainly a film with positive and negative aspects, although if we analyse from a plot point of view it certainly falls into gaps and even touching illogical aspects for a science fiction film, let's start.

    *[Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/filmimages.php?movie_id=898513)* **Film Analysis**

As expected from what we saw in the previous film, possibly the most positive thing we can appreciate is the visual aspect of the film, with good details, impressive shots and above all, with that play of colours that does not overwhelm, but makes it a visually impressive adventure, however, the visual aspect is not everything, the story and the characters should have taken strength in this second film and they may have fallen halfway.

The context in which the story takes place is interesting, however, it doesn't end up taking full advantage of it, in fact, the script does quite the opposite, this film makes that good context developed in the first part end up looking bad, to the point of being illogical and I wish to explain my reasons.

    *[Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/filmimages.php?movie_id=898513)*

    Between Past and Future

As I explained in part one, the plot is set in a science fiction universe, but with many features of the past, it could look interesting, however, there were aspects that are surprising because instead of prevailing the futuristic essence, aspects based on the Second World War are established. This reinforces the argument I wrote in the previous review about these futuristic Nazis, but in this film it makes aspects that should be surprising totally laughable.

    A Coal Spaceship

One of the aspects that made me laugh (but not in a positive way) is the fact that a huge, mountain-sized spaceship traversing the universe and destroying planets happens to be powered by coal, or at least that's what one of the scenes implies. Just as on those ships as old as the Titanic, there were men literally shovelling coal into boilers! This makes no sense at all, this little detail destroys the whole argument about the context of the film, because it is already illogical.

If we look at aspects of the spaceships, we see old boards, already obsolete in our real world, but fully functional in a universe where these ships seek to dominate all of space. The cannons even move like those World War II battleships, a totally rudimentary and obsolete system for the weapons presented in the film. For anyone who likes technology, these kinds of aspects will be more than obvious.

    *[Source](https://www.filmelier.com/mx/noticias/critica-rebel-moon-1-zack-snyder)*

    Importance of Food

Another of those aspects that is notorious in both films is the fact that although the technology is advanced (even if they use systems from the Second World War) the food is more important, even we are shown a village of peasants with a simple and happy life working in the fields, showing that simplicity and physical work is more favourable than technology itself, something that could make narrative sense, but that ends up being in the background of how the final battle develops with an exaggerated disparity of forces.

    Characters

Another negative point of this film is that the characters, instead of gaining strength, seem to be diluted in the story, just a few minutes of insipid relevance, but that doesn't connect with the viewer. I feel that in this second film it drags the characters down, with the best character for me being General Titus, who has good development looking at both films. In fact, with the same protagonist there isn't a click in the story that makes me empathise with her.

    *[Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/filmimages.php?movie_id=898513)*

    Rating:

    6.0 ⭐

    Final Opinion.

I think that this film production concentrates too much on the visual aspect and on that context between past and future, in this science fiction universe that neglects narrative aspects and even character development. The priority being to show those nuances of the Second World War that are so evident that they become untenable and even illogical, so that the development of this film is of inferior quality to the first part.

The ending shows the possibility of further expansion of this universe, it will all depend on the box office because from a critical point of view it may not have a significant achievement.

    *[Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/es/filmimages.php?movie_id=898513)*

    Do I recommend it?

This type of film is one of those that you should watch without expectations and without paying much attention to the story, it is to be carried away by the action and the visual aspect that visually makes a good experience for the viewer, however, it falls short in several aspects, so many may be somewhat disappointed.

  4. Rebel Moon Part 2 ( The@steemychicken1783d

Rebel Moon Part 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to its predecessor, which left me with a feeling of throwing away my time after watching it . As someone who wasn't particularly impressed by the first movie ( disgusted even) , I approached this sequel with cautious optimism, hoping that it would address some of the issues that plagued its predecessor. While there are indeed some improvements in Rebel Moon Part 2, it still struggles to fully captivate and engage its audience. source One of the most noticeable improvements in this sequel is the increased focus on character development. Unlike the first movie, which left many of its characters feeling underdeveloped and one-dimensional, Rebel Moon Part 2 takes the time to explore the motivations and backstories of its central cast. Through a series of flashbacks and dialogue exchanges, we learn more about the struggles and experiences that have shaped these characters, adding depth and complexity to their personalities. Sofia Boutella once again delivers a strong performance as Kora, bringing a sense of humanity and vulnerability to her role. Similarly, Ed Skrein shines as Atticus Noble, portraying the antagonist with a chilling intensity that adds tension to every scene he's in.

However, while the character development is a step in the right direction, Rebel Moon Part 2 still suffers from some of the same issues that plagued its predecessor. Chief among these is the excessive use of slow-motion scenes. While slow-motion can be used effectively to heighten tension or emphasize key moments, it feels overused and unnecessary in this movie. Instead of enhancing the action sequences, it ends up feeling repetitive and tiresome, detracting from the overall pacing and flow of the film. It reminded me many years ago when I was playing the game Max Payne it was the first time I saw the use of slow motion and I was using it all the time even if that wasn't helping me win the game.

Additionally, Rebel Moon Part 2 still struggles to carve out its own identity within the sci-fi genre. While there are moments of excitement and intrigue, they often feel derivative of other, more successful franchises, such as Star Wars. The film relies heavily on familiar tropes and plot elements, failing to offer much in the way of originality or innovation.

After finishing the two parts, I find myself trying to think of other movies that I watched recently with such a bad script and timeline. They harvested the whole crop in three days and trained farmers to be soldiers in two days, so they accomplished something that would probably take months to achieve in just five days.

Overall, Rebel Moon Part 2 is a slight improvement over its predecessor, thanks in large part to its increased focus on character development. However, it still falls short of delivering a truly compelling and engaging viewing experience. While fans of the series may find enjoyment in revisiting the world of Rebel Moon, the majority of the viewers may struggle to find much to hold their interest beyond its flashy visuals and familiar themes.

P.S I believe this is the worst movies of Snyder's career .
