The other day we talked about Independence Day, but today we will talk about a more recent movie, which is a new version of the famous thief who steals from the rich, and gives it to the poor: Robin Hood: Origins. Here I tell you a little more about this movie starring Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx.

El otro día hablamos de Día de la Independencia, pero hoy hablaremos de una película un poco más reciente, y que es una nueva versión del famoso ladrón que roba a los ricos, y se lo entrega a los pobres: Robin Hood: Los Orígenes. Aquí te cuento un poco más de esta película protagonizada por Taron Egerton y Jamie Foxx.

Robin of Locksley, is sent to the East to the Crusades, where his skills with bow and swords, help him survive. Here we see the origins of a hero who has been portrayed on more than one occasion. At the same time, we see how his past haunts him and the guilt of not being able to do anything else eats away at him. On the other hand, we see a people who want to improve, that they are not taken advantage of, that what they earn is enough to eat and live with dignity, something that they have not lived for years.

Aquí vemos los orígenes de un héroe que ha sido retratado en más de una ocasión. Al mismo tiempo, que vemos como su pasado lo persigue y la culpa de no poder hacer nada más lo carcome. Por otro lado, vemos a un pueblo que desea mejorar, que no se aprovchen de ellos, lo que ganen le alcance para comer y vivir con dignidad, algo que tienen unos años que no viven.

I started watching this movie out of curiosity, there was nothing else interesting and I ended up enjoying it. All the training he had to have to be the best goalkeeper in Nottingham. As well as everything he needed to keep the secret and the help he received from different people.

Empecé a ver esta película por curiosidad, no había nada más interesante y la terminé disfrutando. Todo el entrenamiento que tuvo que tener para ser el mejor arquero de Nottingham. Así también como todo lo que necesitó para mantener el secreto y la ayuda que recibió desde diferentes personas.

I thought the sets and the performances of the cast members were amazing. It was great how they managed to give a better origin to the legend of this thief. I really liked how they handled the training and even a bit of the espionage they have. Although there are some details of the costumes, which I don't know if it's my perception, but they look very modern for the time in which they live, even in some scenarios.

Me pareció que fueron increíbles los escenarios y las actuaciones de los miembros del elenco. Fue genial como lograron darle un mejor origen a la leyenda de este ladrón. Me gustó mucho como manejaron el entrenamiento y hasta un poco del espionaje que tienen. Aunque hay algunos detalles del vestuario, que no sé si es mi percepción, pero se ven muy modernos para la época en la que viven, incluso en algunos escenarios.

Creo que no existe persona en el mundo quien no conozca a Robin Hood, se han realizado películas desde las infantiles, donde esta representado por un zorro, hasta las de adultos de las cuales hay varias versiones las ultimas me han encantado, pero nunca hemos visto un Robin joven, con inclusiones de modernidad, con otras versiones o partes de la historia, solo algo un poco diferente, como en la versión actuada por Russell Crowe, donde este usurpa la identidad de Robin de Locksley, ahora vengo a compartir con ustedes una película que atacada por la crítica titulada:

As it has happened to me in previous opportunities, when looking for content options on Netflix, I run into movies that I pass over because I think they are more of the same and by mistake wanting to select another I selected this one and decided to leave it to sleep, but to my surprise the action in it and its plot different from the Robin Hood we are used to seeing, called my attention.

Como ya me ha pasado en anteriores oportunidades, al estar buscando opciones de contenido en Netflix, me topo con películas a las que le paso por encima por creer que son más de lo mismo y por error queriendo seleccionar otra seleccioné esta y decidí dejarla para dormirme, pero para mi sorpresa la acción en ella y su trama diferente a la del Robin Hood que estamos acostumbrados a ver, llamo mi atención.

Esta película nos presenta un Robin joven, que ya tenía amores con Marian, pero es reclutado para ir a las cruzadas y más que reclutado amenazado, pero allí no esta toda la diferencia, ya que le vemos en Tierra Santa participando en incursiones al mejor estilo de las actuales incursiones militares, es decir acción donde las flechas son lanzadas no solo por arqueros como lo fue en la época de las cruzadas, vemos como especie de ametralladoras que lanzan flechas muy rápido y hombres muy bien entrenados tipo las actuales películas de acción y aunque sabemos que en esa época eso era imposible, hace la película, diferente, emocionante y entretenida.

On the other hand, this is not really a movie as good as others of this character, remember the famous Robin Hood where this character is played by Kevin Costner, but it is bearable to see, because this Robin although he was already a soldier, who was discharged for not sympathizing with the barbaric techniques of his superior, was not a daring archer and you can see an arduous training process in addition to seeing him committing some clumsiness and recklessness typical of a young man who is in a dilemma between what is right, his love, friendship, among other feelings and thoughts.

Likewise, although the film does not really have the best script, it is fun for all the action, the way Robin uses the bow and all the actions he performs with Yahya and those who join him, friends and allies, with an ending that leads us to the story of Robin Hood we all know.

Por otro lado ,realmente esta no es una película tan buena como otras de este personaje, recordemos la famosa Robin Hood donde este personaje es interpretado por Kevin Costner, pero es soportable de ver, ya que este Robin aunque ya era un soldado, que fue dado de baja por no simpatizar con las barbáricas técnicas de su superior, no era un audaz arquero y se puede ver un arduo proceso de entrenamiento además de verlo cometiendo algunas torpezas e imprudencias propias de un hombre joven que esta en un dilema ente lo correcto, su amor ,la amistad, entre otros sentimientos y pensamientos.

De la misma manera, aunque realmente la película no cuenta con el mejor guion, es divertida por toda la acción, la manera en la Robin usa el arco y todas las acciones que realiza junto a Yahya y a los que se van sumando, amigos y aliados, con un final que nos encamina hacia la historia de Robin Hood que todos conocemos

En resumen, si bien es cierto que esta película tiene sus detalles, es una opción para entretenerse y pasar un rato diferente, aunque no es de las que uno vuelve a ver, así que si aun conociendo que la critica la ataco, pero aun así la película arraso en Netflix y deseas verla, pues solo búscala y disfruta un rato de esta versión, ahora me retiro no sin antes recordarles que deseo leer sus impresiones en el cajón de comentarios.
