Contest: Rocky V - Review and comments [ENG]/[ESP]
Warm greetings to the cinephile friends of the @moviestvshows community, I hope you are enjoying a productive week. It is a pleasure for me to be present again in this Christmas proposal and for this I bring you the review and analysis of the movie Rocky V, which despite being an action movie is set in Christmas time. I hope you like my review.

Es un gusto para mí estar presente nuevamente en esta propuesta de navidad y para ello les traigo la reseña y el análisis de la película Rocky V, que a pesar de ser una película de mucha acción está ambientada en el tiempo de la navidad. The plot /La Trama
The Rocky saga continues when Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is retired from boxing and decides to pass all his knowledge and advice to a young boxer who seeks him out and harasses him to train him. The young man is learning quickly and winning fights until ambition leads him to want much more than what Rocky can offer.

Rocky's story, as those who have followed his films since the beginning know, is always a struggle to overcome and to want to be the best. Starting from the bottom with no money, no financial support and only relying on the reputation earned by his hard work throughout his boxing career is not easy.

La historia de Rocky, como ya saben los que han seguido sus películas desde el inicio, es siempre una lucha por la superación y por querer ser el mejor. Comenzar desde abajo sin dinero, sin apoyo económico y solo dependiendo de la reputación ganada con su esfuerzo a lo largo de su carrera boxistica no es nada fácil.

La envidia y la ambición se confabulan para hacer oposición a los buenos consejos de Rocky y hacen que se deteriore la relación entre él y su aprendiz.
The film contains several important messages. The first is that the ambition to grow and be the best by striving to reach the goal is not bad, what is bad is that ambition and greed lead you to harm others, especially if they are the people who have supported you and have believed in you from the beginning. Here applies a Venezuelan proverb that says: "don't bite the hand of the one who feeds you" or another one that says: "raise crows and they will gouge out your eyes".

La película encierra varios mensajes importantes. El primero es que la ambición por crecer y ser el mejor esforzándonos hasta llegar a la meta no está mal, lo que si es malo es que la ambición y la codicia te lleven a perjudicar a los demás, especialmente si son las personas que te han apoyado y han creído en ti desde el principio. Aquí se aplica un refrán venezolano que dice: "no muerdas la mano de quién te da de comer" o también otro que dice: " cría cuervos y te sacarán los ojos".
The second message is in family relationships, especially between parent and child. Christmas is a propitious time to share with the family, but if the rest of the year the attention to the children has been neglected, without dedicating time to listen to them and stimulate them, it is useless to try to correct them with a Christmas dinner. When children rebel, we ask: What did I do wrong? and we already know the answer.

El segundo mensaje está en las relaciones familiares, especialmente entre padre e hijo. La navidad es tiempo propicio para compartir con la familia, pero si el resto del año se ha descuidado la atención a los hijos, sin dedicarles tiempo para escucharlos y estimularlos, no vale de nada tratar de corregirlos con una cena de navidad. Cuando los hijos de rebelan preguntamos: ¿Qué hice mal? y ya sabemos la respuesta.

I recommend watching this movie because it is not just another boxing story, but it involves life lessons that shed light on how to build a true family relationship where values are the priority.
Until Rocky IV, the story was very similar: the boxer prepares for the big fight, fails and then in his second attempt he comes out victorious. This film breaks with this scheme and that is why it gives a twist to the story and we can draw a lot of material and life lessons from this film.

Recomiendo ver esta película porque no solo se trata de una historia más de boxeo, sino que involucra lecciones de vida que nos dan luz para construir una verdadera relación familiar donde los valores sean la prioridad. Hasta Rocky IV, la historia era muy similar: el boxeador se prepara para la gran pelea, fracasa y luego en su segundo intento sale victorioso. En esta película se rompe con este esquema y es por eso que se da un giro a la historia y podemos sacar mucho material y lecciones de vida de este film
