También fue muy llamativo lo polémico que fue el Senna, ya que pese a venir de una familia muy bien acomodada en Brasil, él siempre llego su bandera, no dejándose intimidar por otros corredores, luchando contra un sistema que se planteó como corrupto en el documental, costándole un campeonato mundial pese a que competía con un mismo compañero de escuderia. Su rivalidad con Alain Prost fue legendaria al final de los años 80 y comienzo de los 90, y que este fuera francés, lo beneficio en varias de las decisiones tomadas por el ente mayor de la Fórmula 1.
