Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar sobre un cortometraje que me encontré en el menú de Netflix y me llamo bastante la atención por los personajes que involucraba, por esta razón decidí darle una oportunidad así que hoy les quiero hablar de nada mas y nada menos que Shrek The Halls

Shrek The Halls (o Shrek Ogrorisa la Navidad como se conoce en latinoamerica) es un especial navideño de la franquicia de Shrek lanzado en el 2007, dirigido por Gary Trousdale y protagonizado por las voces de Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz y Antonio Banderas. Este cortometraje nos muestra a Shrek, un ogro que no tiene la mínima idea de cómo celebrar navidad, sin embargo hace el mayor intento para lograr cumplir con las expectativas de su familia de tener una primera gran navidad juntos. Ya habiendo dado un poco de contexto ahora si comencemos!

Primero siempre me gusta empezar hablando de lo que más me encanto de la película y aunque en este caso es algo “tonto”, admito que disfrute mucho que mantuviesen la voces originales de cada personaje, tanto en el doblaje Latino como en la versión original, yo solo por este lado sabía que lo iba a disfrutar bastante porque cada personaje iba contar con la misma personalidad con los que lo habíamos conocido, y efectivamente así fue.

La historia me pareció muy entretenida, es impresionante como aunque es un cortometraje, logran igual darnos mucho material sobre nuestros personajes principales, tanto así que mediante va avanzando cada vez nos vamos sintiendo más identificados con lo que está sucediendo y es que siento que todos alguna vez hemos estado en presencia de alguna situación similar, por lo que es fácil empatizar.

Como nunca puede faltar en las películas o cortometrajes navideños, siempre están cargados de un buen mensaje, este en particular enfocado a la unión, la familia y la tolerancia que se puede llegar a necesitar en estas situaciones, porque al final del día son épocas y momentos que tienen como base compartir con nuestros familiares y amigos más cercanos.

De por si no me considero muy fan de los cortometrajes, porque hay muchas veces que me parece contenido vacío, sin embargo no me arrepiento de haberle dado la oportunidad a este porque me lo disfruté mucho, también puede ser porque soy muy fan de la saga de Shrek, pero también siento que es un cortometraje que tiene un sentido, una historia que contar y un mensaje que dejar, aparte si esto fuese poco es bastante cómico, así que admito que cumplió con mis expectativas

En conclusión Shrek The Halls fácilmente lo puedo considerar como uno de mis cortos navideños favoritos, me gusto de principio a fin, así que posiblemente lo agregue a mi lista navideña de contenido que veo todos los años, sinceramente considero que está a la altura de lo que promete. Totalmente recomendado!

Hello hive, today I come to talk about a short film that I found in the Netflix menu and called my attention because of the characters involved, for this reason I decided to give it a try so today I want to talk about nothing more and nothing less than Shrek The Halls.

Shrek The Halls (or Shrek Ogrorisa la Navidad as it is known in Latin America) is a Christmas special of the Shrek franchise released in 2007, directed by Gary Trousdale and starring the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas. This short film shows us Shrek, an ogre who has no idea how to celebrate Christmas, yet he tries his best to fulfill his family's expectations of having a great first Christmas together. Having given some context, now let's get started!

First I always like to start talking about what I loved most about the movie and although in this case it is something "silly", I admit that I really enjoyed that they kept the original voices of each character, both in the Latin dub and in the original version, I just knew I was going to enjoy it a lot because each character would have the same personality with which we had known him, and indeed it was so.

I found the story very entertaining, it is impressive how even though it is a short film, they still manage to give us a lot of material about our main characters, so much so that as it progresses we feel more and more identified with what is happening and I feel that we have all been in the presence of a similar situation, so it is easy to empathize.

As you can never miss in Christmas movies or short films, they are always loaded with a good message, this one in particular focused on the union, family and tolerance that may be needed in these situations, because at the end of the day are times and moments that are based on sharing with our family and closest friends.

In itself I do not consider myself a fan of short films, because there are many times that I find empty content, however I do not regret having given the opportunity to this one because I enjoyed it very much, it may also be because I am a big fan of the Shrek saga, but I also feel that it is a short film that has a meaning, a story to tell and a message to leave, besides if this were not enough it is quite funny, so I admit that it met my expectations.

In conclusion Shrek The Halls I can easily consider it as one of my favorite Christmas shorts, I liked it from beginning to end, so I will probably add it to my Christmas list of content I watch every year, I sincerely believe that it lives up to its promise. Totally recommended!

Hello my dear cinephile friends! I hope you're very well. After a few very busy days of absence, today I'm here very excited to participate in this interesting contest and talk about my favorite Christmas movies, which are many, however today I want to share with you for my first participation this movie that I love it, it's about "Shrek The Halls", which is a Christmas short of one of my favorite sagas "Shrek" and which is unwatchable for these holidays. ¡Hola mis queridos amigos cinéfilos! Espero estén muy bien. Luego de unos días de ausencia bastante movidos, hoy estoy por aquí muy emocionada para participar en este interesante concurso y hablar de mis películas navideñas favoritas, las cuales son muchas sin embargo el día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes para mi primera participación esta película que me encanta, se trata de "Shrek The Halls", la cual es un corto navideño de una de mis sagas favoritas "Shrek" y que es impelable para estas fechas. ¡Espero les guste!

🎄 Plot / Trama 🎄
It's Shrek and Fiona's first Christmas together as a family and although Shrek at first didn't want to celebrate Christmas he ends up cheering up since Fiona does like Christmas so with the help of a book about Christmas he begins the preparations at home, surprising Fiona and her babies, however, their celebration becomes broader thanks to Donkey and his family, Puss in Boots and the rest of his friends arriving at their house with Christmas decorations and everyone having a party which is interrupted by Shrek the who gets upset and kicks them all out of his house. After this, Fiona, a little sad, goes out with her babies to look for the others to apologize after explaining to Shrek the true meaning of Christmas, causing Shrek to regret being alone at home, so he later catches up with them and apologizes. After this everyone returns to Shrek's house and spends Christmas together, which ends with Shrek telling a beautiful story and then seeing Santa Claus appear at the sky.

Es la primera Navidad de Shrek y Fiona juntos como familia y aunque Shrek al principio no quería celebrar Navidad termina animándose ya que a Fiona si le gusta la Navidad así que con la ayuda de un libro sobre Navidad el comienza las preparaciones en casa, sorprendiendo a Fiona y a sus bebés sin embargo, su celebración se hace más amplia gracias a que Burro y su familia, El Gato con Botas y es resto de sus amigos llegan a su casa con decoraciones navideñas y todos hacen una fiesta la cual es interrumpida por Shrek el cual se molesta y los echa a todos de su casa. Luego de esto, Fiona un poco triste sale con sus bebés a buscar a los demás para disculparse luego de explicarle a Shrek el verdadero significado de la Navidad, provocando que Shrek se arrepienta estando sólo en casa, por lo que luego los alcanza y se disculpa. Luego de esto todos regresan a casa de Shrek y pasan juntos la Navidad, que termina con Shrek contando una hermosa historia y luego viendo aparecer a Santa Claus en el cielo.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of the Shrek movies and I really like that they have also released a Christmas story which I loved from the first time I saw it and I love enjoying it during the Christmas season. I really like the story because in the end it leaves us with a beautiful Christmas message and ends up being quite emotional, and I also really like the work of the voice actors, especially Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Díaz and Antonio Banderas, all of whom I admire a lot.

No es un secreto que soy muy fan de las películas de Shrek y me gusta mucho que también hayan lanzado una historia navideña la cual me encantó desde la primera vez que la ví y amo disfrutarla en la temporada navideña. La historia me gusta mucho ya que al final nos deja un hermoso mensaje navideño y termina siendo bastante emotiva, y también me gusta mucho el trabajo de los actores de doblaje, en especial de Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Díaz y Antonio Banderas los cuales admiro bastante.

I really like the animation even though I'm not a big fan of 3D animation, and the animators use a fairly wide color palette that works very well. Although it's a film with a short duration compared to the others because it only lasts 30 minutes, I think it's very beautiful and engaging and it really doesn't matter how many times I see it I really don't get tired of watching it. I also really like the development of all the characters and my favorite has always been Puss in Boots, although it's very easy to get attached to all of them and although Shrek is characterized as a moody ogre, he also ends up being very nice. I also really like the songs that accompany the film because it's mostly composed of Christmas carols and I find it very original that the title of this film is inspired by one of them (Deck The Halls - Shrek The Halls).

La animación me gusta mucho a pesar de que no soy muy fan de la animación 3D, y los animadores hacen uso de una paleta de colores bastante amplia que funciona muy bien. Aunque es una película con una corta duración en comparación a las demás porque dura solamente 30 minutos, creo que es muy bonita y enganchante y realmente no importa cuantas veces la vea realmente no me canso de verla. También me gusta mucho el desarrollo de todos los personajes y mi favorito siempre ha sido el Gato con Botas, aunque es muy fácil encariñarse con todos y aunque Shrek se caracteriza por ser un ogro malhumorado, también termina siendo muy simpático. Las canciones que acompañan la película también me gustan mucho ya que está en su mayoría compuesta por villancicos y me parece muy original que el título de esta pelicula se inspire en uno de ellos (Deck The Halls - Shrek The Halls).

As I told you before, I find the story very beautiful because even though it shows us a slightly eventful Christmas party that, although initially it does not end very well, it later leaves us with a very nice message about what Christmas means, so I would say My favorite part of the entire movie is the one in which Fiona makes Shrek reflect by explaining to him that Christmas is a time to spend in the company of family and friends and that he acted wrong since all his friends are his family, let's say that part me. moves to tears hahaha. Finally, I would like to recommend it to everyone who has not yet had the opportunity to see it, you can get it on Netflix, although I am a little sad because it leaves the catalog in January. I hope you enjoy it and it has been a real pleasure to share it with you.

Como les comenté anteriormente, la historia me parece muy bonita ya que a pesar de que nos muestra una fiesta navideña un poco accidentada que aunque inicialmente no termina muy bien, luego nos deja un mensaje muy bonito sobre lo que significa la Navidad, así que diría que mi parte favorita de toda la película es en la que Fiona hace reflexionar a Shrek explicándole que la Navidad es un tiempo para pasarla en compañía de familia y amigos y que actuó mal ya que todos sus amigos son su familia, digamos que esa parte me emociona hasta las lágrimas jajaja. Por último, me gustaría recomendarla a todos los que todavía no han tenido la oportunidad de verla, la pueden conseguir en Netflix, aunque estoy algo triste porque en Enero sale del catálogo. Espero que la disfruten y ha sido un verdadero placer compartirla con ustedes.

Hola mis queridos lectores de Hive y amantes del mundo cinematográfico ❤️ nuevamente les quiero hablar de una recomendación para disfrutar en estás fechas navideñas, esta vez con una versión animada que la verdad se disfruta mucho aún si no eres un niño, y sobre todo en dónde el personaje sea uno de los más queridos, con todo esto me refiero a SHREK, solo que en esta oportunidad lo veremos rodeado en un ambiente más a la época de navidad, algo que el no está acostumbrado celebrar y tendrá que lidiar con las tradiciones que a sus amigos si les gusta hacer. Logrará Shrek aprender amar la navidad o por el contrario seguirá sus tradiciones de ogro?.

Una de las cosas que siempre me gustan de estás películas de Shrek son sus simpáticos personajes, no solo el ogro es el que se lleva el protagonismo ya que incluso personajes secundarios como la galleta de gengibre, los 3 cerditos, los ratones ciegos, el lobo feroz, el gato con botas y el mismo burro, nos hacen reír con sus propias ocurrencias y única personalidad, obviamente haciendo referencia y parodia a los cuentos clásicos originales. Para los que nos gusta escuchar los films en audio latino, uno de los mejores doblajes en mi opinión son el del gato con botas (Antonio Banderas), y el de burro (Eugenio Derbez), siendo ambos una pieza icónica en lo que a entregas de Shrek se refiere, y este especial de navidad tiene algo en particular y es que a diferencia de otros, el actor que hace el doblaje del gato con botas colaboró para que esté pequeño film tuviera su voz original, un detalle que parece insignificante pero para la audiencia que lo sigue desde sus inicios es algo que se agradece mucho.

Me sorprendió además el que sea tan antigua y encontrarla disponible en la plataforma Netflix a muy buena calidad, yo particularmente me la disfruté como si fuera recién estrenada, con una historia fresca y que viene muy bien en estás fechas para disfrutarla en familia junto a los más pequeños, una historia que tendrá risas garantizadas.

La historia nos cuenta como era de esperar a un ogro (Shrek) en su casa, tranquilo, agusto, y felíz con su familia disfrutando de su nueva vida junto a Fiona y sus pequeños hijos, hasta que se acerca la época de navidad. Esto lo toma de sopresa porque el nunca lo celebra y ahora con familia tendrá que cambiar un poco sus tradiciones de ogro solitario. Obviamente Burro, el gato con botas y sus amigos no dejarán pasar esa festividad junto a Shrek y así animarlo a celebrarlo también, aunque esa idea a él no le encanta del todo, lo que no se sabrá es si el podrá dejar atrás su mal humor y costumbres por cambiar su manera de ver la navidad y que está no es tan mala como el imagina, especialmente si está vez lo pasará por primera vez al lado de su familia y amigos.

Esta película o especial navideño de la famosa saga SHREK dura aproximadamente 30 minutos, los suficientes para engancharte con la bonita, graciosa y emocionante historia que Shrek y sus amigos tienen para compartir con nosotros. Mi puntuación para esta película sería un 10 de 10 porque simplemente me encantan estás películas. Aquí les comparto el tráiler para que la disfruten y se animen a verla si es que aún no lo han hecho.. y ya luego me cuentan que tal les pareció 😸.

Hello my dear readers of Hive and lovers of the film world ❤️ again I want to talk about a recommendation to enjoy this Christmas season, this time with an animated version that the truth is very enjoyable even if you are not a child, and especially where the character is one of the most beloved, with all this I mean SHREK, only this time we will see him surrounded in an environment more to the Christmas season, something that he is not used to celebrate and will have to deal with the traditions that his friends if they like to do. Will Shrek learn to love Christmas or will he follow his ogre traditions?

One of the things I always like about these Shrek movies are the cute characters, not only the ogre is the one who takes the lead role, even secondary characters like the gingerbread cookie, the 3 little pigs, the blind mice, the big bad wolf, the cat in boots and the donkey himself, make us laugh with their own witticisms and unique personality, obviously making reference and parody to the original classic tales. For those of us who like to listen to the films in Latin audio, one of the best dubbing in my opinion is that of Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), and the donkey (Eugenio Derbez), both being an iconic piece as far as Shrek releases are concerned, and this Christmas special has something in particular and is that unlike others, the actor who dubs Puss in Boots collaborated for this little film to have his original voice, a detail that seems insignificant but for the audience that follows it since its inception is something that is much appreciated.

I was also surprised that it is so old and find it available on the Netflix platform at very good quality, I particularly enjoyed it as if it were newly released, with a fresh story and that comes in handy in these dates to enjoy it with the family with the little ones, a story that will have guaranteed laughter.

The story tells us as expected an ogre (Shrek) at home, quiet, comfortable, and happy with his family enjoying his new life with Fiona and their young children, until Christmas time approaches. This takes him by surprise because he never celebrates it and now with family he will have to change a little bit his lonely ogre traditions. Obviously Donkey, the cat in boots and his friends will not let this holiday pass by with Shrek and encourage him to celebrate it too, although he does not love the idea, what is not known is if he can leave behind his bad mood and habits to change his way of seeing Christmas and that it is not as bad as he imagines, especially if this time he will spend it for the first time with his family and friends.

This movie or Christmas special of the famous SHREK saga lasts approximately 30 minutes, enough to get you hooked with the cute, funny and exciting story that Shrek and his friends have to share with us. My score for this movie would be a 10 out of 10 because I simply love these movies.
