Fire, Pure, and Rise make up the seventh and final season of Skins, each part revolves around a character and their future as an adult in just 2 episodes each. Fire revolves around Effy, who gets to have two characters from her generation present, Pure revolves around Cassie, and Rise revolves around Cook, who I must say changes a lot and surprises even more.
This seventh season is the least conventional of all, here we are not only going to see three of the most loved and hated characters of Skins being adults, but they will be facing different situations where although they can ask for help, no one must give it to them, for the first time we will see these disastrous teenagers face the consequences of their actions as adults and all that entails.
Fire, Pure, Rise conforman la séptima y última temporada de Skins, cada parte gira alrededor de un personaje y su futuro como adulto en tan solo 2 capítulos cada uno. Fire gira alrededor de Effy, quien llega a tener a dos personajes de su generación presente, Pure gira alrededor de Cassie, y Rise gira alrededor de Cook, quien debo decir cambia mucho y sorprende más aún.
Esta sétpima temporada es la menos convencional de todas, aquí no solo vamos a ver a tres de los personajes más amados y odiados de Skins ser adultos, si no que se van a estar enfrentando a diferentes situaciones donde si bien pueden pedir ayuda, nadie tiene la obligación de dárselas, por primera vez veremos a estos adolescentes desastrosos enfrentar las consecuencias de sus acciones como adultos y todo lo que eso conlleva.
In Fire, we will see an adult Effy who works at the front desk of a finance company lives with Naomi, and Naomi is still in a relationship with Emily, although the whole thing is too complicated for her to explain, so you have to see her. En Fire veremos a una Effy adulta que trabaja en la recepción de una empresa de finanzas, vive con Naomi, y Naomi sigue de pareja con Emily, aunque toda esa cosa es muy complicada como para que se las explique, por lo que tienen que verla. Effy sigue siendo la misma de siempre, una mujer que conoce sus aspiraciones y es capaz de hacer lo que sea por conseguir una mejor posición de trabajo.
Effy creo que nunca será capaz de desligarse de las cosas ilegales, y es haciendo una de las mayores cosas ilegales posibles que consigue avanzar en esa empresa, y como siempre, se vuelve una adicción, algo que no puede dejar de hacer y aunque trata, siempre vuelve a caer, es algo que si bien es característico de ella, me causa mucha tristeza porque Effy es mejor que eso, solo no lo sabe y vuelve a caer en lo negativo.
Cassie in Pure is the most beautiful and depressing thing ever, it's the most Cassie that could have been done. After living in New York Cassie moved to London where she started working as a waitress, living in an apartment where everyone is just minding their own business, and she dances every night in her room with the windows open.
At least that is until she finds out by chance that someone has been photographing her everywhere he can find her, even in her room, and although the photos are not pornographic, they have been taken without her consent, violating her privacy and her safety, so Cassie begins to be afraid of this stalker, no matter that the photos are beautiful and have thousands of followers all over London and the world.

Después de haber vivido en New York Cassie se mudó a Londres donde comenzó a trabajar de camarera, viviendo en un edeficio donde todo el mundo solo está pendiente de sus cosas, y ella baila todas las noches en su cuarto con las ventanas descubiertas.
Al menos es así hasta que se entera de casualidad de que alguien la ha estado fotografiando en todos los lugares posibles donde la encuentra, hasta en su habitación, y si bien las fotos no son pornográficas, han sido sin su consentimientos, violando su privacidad y su seguridad, así que Cassie comienza a tener miedo a causa de ese acosador sin importar que las fotos sean hermosas y tengan miles de seguidores en todo Londres y el mundo.
I like Cook in rising, and that's something I never thought I'd say, because the first time I saw him I still disliked him, but this second time he made all things change and I can empathize with him even though I still dislike him, I don't know if you understand. Cook is now a drug dealer, he works for someone in his organization, and he avoids forming ties of any kind because he doesn't know at what point he'll have to go on the run from the police.
Cook murdered someone, and since then he lives hidden in the world of the night and nightclubs, always looking back to watch his back so he doesn't end up in jail, at least that is until everything gets complicated with his job and drug dealing, which brings the old Cook back to life because the current Cook is someone who fully understands that his actions always have repercussions on other people and not only affect him.
Cook en Rise me cae bien, y eso es algo que nunca creí decir, porque la primera vez que lo vi me seguía cayendo mal, pero esta segunda vez hizo que todas las cosas cambiaran y logro empatizar con él aunque me siga cayendo mal, no sé si lo entiendan. Cook ahora es un vendedor de drogas, trabaja para alguien en su organización, y evita formar lazos de cualquier tipo porque no sabe en qué momento deberá salir huyendo de la policía.
Cook asesinó a alguien, y desde entonces vive escondido en el mundo de la noche y los clubes nocturnos, viendo siempre hacia atrás para cuidar su espalda y así no terminar en la carcel, al menos es así hasta que todo se complica con su trabajo y la venta de droga, lo que hace que el viejo Cook vuelva a la vida, pues el Cook actual es alguien que entiende por completo que sus acciones siempre tienen repercusiones en otras personas y no solo le afectan a él.
This seventh season of Skins is one of my favorites, the new way in which we are seeing three of the most insignificant characters of Skins, I love it, they left behind their teenage versions and are adults facing the consequences of their actions and the actions of the people around them, but despite all that, they still have that rebellious and disastrous characteristic in them, that we will see it appear very little, but it will be present, just to realize that although they have changed and grown-up, they remain true to themselves.
There is the trailer, a trailer that shows just the transition of each of them into adulthood. While this seventh season is made because of nostalgia, it closes many cycles, it allows us to know what happened to certain characters after their generations ended, and while we would like to have this kind of special episode about more characters, they only gave us Effy, Cassie, and Cook, which is better than nothing.
Esta séptima temporada de Skins es de mis favoritas, la nueva forma en que estamos viendo a tres de los personajes más insignes de Skins, la amo, dejaron atrás a sus versiones adolescentes y son adultos enfrentando las consecuancias de sus acciones y de las acciones de las personas que les rodean, pero a pesar de todo eso, siguen teniendo esa característica rebelde y desastroza en ellos, que la veremos aparecer muy poco, pero estará presente, solo para darnos cuenta de que aunque hayan cambiado y crecido, se mantienen fieles a sí mismos.
Hay tiene el trailer, un trailer que muestra justamente la transición de cada uno de ellos hacia la vida adulta. Si bien esta séptima temporada está hecha a causa de la nostalgia, cierra muchos ciclos, nos da la oportunidad de saber qué sucedió con ciertos personajes después de que terminaran sus generaciones, y si bien querriamos tener estas especies de episodios especiales sobre más personajes, solo nos dieron a Effy, Cassie y Cook, que es mejor a nada.
