Hola amigos de Hive, espero que estén bien. Alguien como tu Un drama romántico, tan emotivo como hermoso, cuenta la historia de Dawson un chico arquitecto quien pierde a su mejor amiga London en un accidente de auto, era su amiga pero guardaba un sentimiento mas profundo hacia ella, anhelaba que algún día le diera una oportunidad.

Someone like you A romantic drama, as emotional as it is beautiful, it tells the story of Dawson, a young architect who loses his best friend London in a car accident, she was his friend but he kept a deeper feeling towards her, he longed for her to give him a chance someday.
London era hija única, su madre estaba enferma y necesitaba un trasplante de pulmón y ella era su donante por lo que muro antes que ese trasplante sucediera. Luego de la muerte de London sus padres le revelan a Dawson que había sido concebida por in vitro, pero había otro embrión que ellos dieron para que otros pudieran ser padres, esto hizo que Dawson investigara y diera con el paradero de este hermano o hermana y lo logro.
London was an only child, her mother was ill and needed a lung transplant and she was her donor, so she walled herself up before that transplant happened. After London's death her parents revealed to Dawson that she had been conceived by in vitro, but there was another embryo that they gave so that others could be parents, this made Dawson investigate and find the whereabouts of this brother or sister and he succeeded.
Encontró una hermana muy parecida a London pudo haber sido su gemela, Andi una chica con una vida perfecta, una familia unida con un novio y con el trabajo de sus sueños, hasta que conoce a Dawson quien sin pensarlo le comenta sobre su adopción hecho que Andi desconocía y derrumbo su realidad, decide conocer su familia biológica y mas sobre su hermana ya fallecida y emprende ese viaje donde se encontrará un lugar donde se sentiría en paz, donde encontrara unos padres que tuvieron una perdida pero la reciben con mucho amor y muchas ganas de conocerla al igual que ella a ellos y donde sin saberlo encontrara el amor.

Changing the genre of the last productions I've been talking about in my blog, today I bring you the movie Someone Like You, which is a romantic drama that came out recently this year and was directed by who was also the screenwriter of the film. This movie is based on the novel written by Karen Kingsbury under the same title. In the review I am going to give you my opinion about this film according to my personal experience and not as a professional critic.
Amigos de la comunidad, un placer estar nuevamente por acá. Cambiando el género de las últimas producciones de la cual les he hablado en mi blog, el día de hoy les traigo la película Alguien como tú, que es un drama romántico que salió recientemente este año y que fue dirigido por quien también fue el guionista del filme. Esta película está basada en la novela escrita por Karen Kingsbury bajo el mismo título. En la reseña les voy a dar mi opinión sobre esta cinta de acuerdo a mi experiencia personal y no como una crítica profesional.
Really this kind of story that tells us Someone like you, are the ones that I like, when I saw what the film was initially about I decided to watch it and the expectations were high. The plot of the film is about Dawson who is a young man who loses his best friend London in a tragic accident and is given the difficult task of finding her twin sister (Andi Allen), since he did not know where she was, since existence was a secret. From here is where the story begins to develop and meet the characters, although to a lesser extent.
Realmente esta clase de historia que nos cuenta Alguien como tú, son las que me gustan, cuando vi que se trataba inicialmente la película decidí verla y las expectativas eran altas. La trama del filme trata sobre Dawson quien es un joven quien pierde a su mejor amiga London en un trágico accidente y se da la difícil tarea de encontrar a su hermana gemela (Andi Allen), ya que este no sabía donde se encontraba, puesto que existencia era un secreto. A partir de aquí es donde se empieza a desarrollar la historia y conocer de los personajes, aunque en menor medida.
Dawson Gage is an architect, a very good-hearted young man, a typical character we usually see in romance movies, except for the fact that he is a womanizer. While London Quinn / Andi Allen (Twin Sisters) are two similar characters, they really like each other. I must say that in this story there is no evil or antagonists, as we usually see in productions commonly, something that is appreciated, since it is something different. Everything is focused on Dawson's search for his best friend's twin sister, to see the grief that this character goes through, along with London's parents and how each of them begin to know Andi and to have a lot of appreciation for being the person who she is, beyond the resemblance with her sister.
Dawson Gage es un arquitecto, un joven de muy buen corazón, un personaje típico que solemos ver en las películas de romance, exceptuando el hecho de ser mujeriego. Mientras que London Quinn / Andi Allen (Hermanas gemelas) son dos personajes parecidos, caen realmente bien. Debo decir que en esta historia no existe ningún tipo de maldad o antagonistas, como solemos ver en las producciones comúnmente, algo que se agradece, ya que es algo distinto. Todo se centra en la Dawson en la búsqueda de la hermana gemela de su mejor amigo, ver el duelo que pasa este personaje, junto a los padres de London y como cada uno de ellos empiezan a conocer a Andi y a tener mucho aprecio por ser la persona quien es, más allá del parecido con su hermana.
The story I feel it had enough potential to give a good movie to lovers of the romantic drama genre. The movie is not bad, but I feel like I lacked more of a connection to the film, the plot felt very empty. For a drama movie, being that the only thing was the loss of London due to an accident, plus Dawson learning of the existence of a twin sister and her learning that she had a sister and that she was adopted, otherwise nothing transcendental that surprised me for the better. Again and again, I didn't think the movie was bad, but I found it lacking in terms of plot.
La historia siento que tuvo bastante potencial para darle una buena película a los amantes del género de drama romántico. La película no es mala, pero siento que me falto más conexión con el filme, la trama se veía muy vacía. Para ser una película de drama, siendo que lo único fue la perdida de London por un accidente, más Dawson enterarse de la existencia de una hermana gemela y de esta enterarse de que tenía una hermana y que era adoptada, de resto nada trascendental que me haya sorprendido para bien. Vuelvo y repito, la película no me pareció del todo mala, pero me falto algo en lo que a la trama respecta.
The cast of the movie was good, the performances were good, especially Sarah Fisher as London Quinn and Andi Allen (the twin sisters), although there was a scene that I didn't like at all, but it could be a matter of script and director. On the other hand, Jake Allyn gave life to the character, Dawson Gage, doing an ok job and nothing more to say. We also have Lynn Collins as London's mom (Louise Quinn) and Scott Reeves as Larry Quinn (London's father). Plus, that we have other more secondary characters to the story, who also do very well in the few appearances in the film.
El reparto de la película estuvo bien, las actuaciones fueron buenas, sobre Sarah Fisher como London Quinn y Andi Allen (las hermanas gemelas), aunque hubo una escena que no me gustó del todo, pero puedo ser cuestión de guion y el director. Por otro lado, Jake Allyn le dio vida al personaje, Dawson Gage, haciendo un trabajo correcto y nada más que decir. También tenemos a Lynn Collins como la mamá de London (Louise Quinn) y Scott Reeves como Larry Quinn (Padre de London). Además, que tenemos otros personajes más secundarios para la historia, que también lo hacen muy bien en las pocas apariciones en la película.

The cinematography of Someone Like You is quite good. What I liked the most about the movie was the different sceneries, the lake, the forest and other locations that were really beautiful and were really appreciated in the movie. As for the soundtrack, it was another success of the movie, very good and emotional themes. The music, if I'm not wrong, was of the Country genre, a genre that I love, so I enjoyed a lot the different music, both of the themes in the dialogues, as well as environmental and the most emotional moments of the film.
La fotografía de Alguien como tú es bastante buena. Lo que más me gustó de la película fue los diferentes escenarios, el lago, el bosque y otras localidades más que eran realmente hermosas y daban gusta apreciar en la película. En cuento a la banda sonora, fue otro acierto de la película, temas muy buenos y emotivos. Las músicas si no estoy mal eran del género Country, género que me encanta, así que disfruté mucho de las diferentes músicas, tanto de los temas en los diálogos, como ambientales y de los momentos más emotivos del filme.
In conclusion, I can tell you that Someone Like You is a romantic drama movie that is worth watching if you are a lover of the genre and even so you may not like it at all, since I feel that it has a flat story, that it lacks from my point of view. This doesn't mean it's bad, because I had a nice time, what I mean is that it's not the best we'll see this year, not even close. The story is where I see a deficiency, although the plot was promising, it just lacked a better adaptation of Karen Kingsbury's novel. The photography, setting and soundtrack are quite good. Do I recommend it? Only for those who love the genre, otherwise you may not like it, it all depends on the perspective of the viewer. If I had to give it a score it would be a 6.5 out of 10.
En conclusión, les puedo decir que Alguien como tú es una película de drama romántico que vale la pena ver si eres amante del género y aun así puede que no te guste del todo, ya que la misma siento que tiene una historia plana, que le falta desde mi punto de vista. Esto no quiere decir que sea mala, porque pase un rato agradable, lo que quiero decir es que no es de lo mejor que veremos en el año, ni por cerca. La historia es donde le veo una deficiencia, aunque la trama era prometedora, solo le falto una mejor adaptación de la novela de Karen Kingsbury. La fotografía, ambientación y banda sonora está bastante bien. ¿La recomiendo? Solo para aquellos que sean amantes del género, de resto puede que no te guste, todo depende de la perspectiva del espectador. Si tendría que darle un puntaje sería un 6.5 de 10.
