Me da rabia cuando pienso que una película tiene potencial de ser buena, o por lo menos decente, y termina siendo un desastre 😅, son cosas que pasan, imagínense que todas las películas que elija me encanten, es algo imposible. Pero, dejando eso de lado hoy les hablaré de:
It makes me angry when I think a movie has the potential to be good, or at least decent, and it ends up being a disaster 😅, these are things that happen, imagine that all the movies I choose I love, it's something impossible. But, leaving that aside today I'll talk to you about:

####| Esta producción estadounidense de comedia, se estrenó en el año 2018, fue dirigida por Boots Riley y protagonizada por: Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Jermaine Fowler, Omari Hardwick, Terry Crews y Patton Oswalt. ####| Algo a destacar de esta producción es el tema racial, y es que Cassius sólo logra escalar en la compañía cuando decide aplicar el consejo de un compañero de utilizar una "voz blanca", ya que sólo así podría abrirse paso y empezar a vender. Incluso, al llegar al departamento más deseado, básicamente tiene que dejar de ser él mismo y sólo hablar con una "voz blanca". Por lo que podría decirse que tenemos algo de critica social incluida. | One thing to note about this production is the racial theme, and that is that Cassius only manages to climb the company ladder when he decides to apply a colleague's advice to use a "white voice", as only then could he break through and start selling. Even when he gets to the most desired department, he basically has to stop being himself and just speak with a "white voice". So you could say that we have some social criticism included. |
| Me gustaron los pequeños detalles y elementos que agregaron a medida que avanzaba la película, y cómo hasta cierto punto tenía sentido, pero en los últimos 30- 20 minutos se fue a la basura (para mí). Me gustaron las actuaciones, pero tengo que decir que me aburrí a los 40 min, porque fue innecesariamente larga (2 hrs), además de que la comedia fue demasiado absurda, porque sólo me reí 2 o tres veces. | I liked the little details and elements they added as the movie progressed, and how to some extent it made sense, but in the last 30- 20 minutes it went to garbage (for me). I liked the performances, but I have to say I got bored after 40 min, because it was unnecessarily long (2 hrs), plus the comedy was too absurd, because I only laughed 2 or three times. |
| Me gustó el tema de la empresa, y cómo estaban manejando el concepto de una organización que básicamente vendía esclavos (como de seguro pasa en la vida real), y el protagonista formaba parte de esa locura (porque el CEO era un cocainomano y le pidió trabajar para el), hasta ese punto era interesante, y a pesar de que ya estaba un poco aburrida esperaba un mejor desenlace. | I liked the theme of the company, and how they were handling the concept of an organization that basically sold slaves (as it surely happens in real life), and the protagonist was part of that madness (because the CEO was a cokehead and asked him to work for him), up to that point it was interesting, and even though it was already a bit boring I was expecting a better denouement. |
| ¿Fue diferente?, Sí lo fue, pero no memorable y en mi opinión no muy buena o entretenida. Siento que tenían una base interesante que pudieron haber desarrollado mejor, pero terminaron entregando una producción muy absurda, loca y sin sentido. | Was it different, yes it was, but not memorable and in my opinion not very good or entertaining. I feel they had an interesting base that they could have developed better, but they ended up delivering a very absurd, crazy and pointless production. |
