Teen Titans: The Judas Contract

Welcome dear internet travelers who love superheroes and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, if you have followed my last post you will know that I have recently started watching the films belonging to the DC animated universe and today it is the turn of "Teen Titans: The Judas Contract" that as its name indicates has the Titans as protagonists and that is undoubtedly something completely interesting. Without more to add, get ready because we are about to face various super beings.

Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet amantes de los superhéroes y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, si han seguido mis últimos post sabrán que recientemente he empezado a ver las películas pertenecientes al universo animado de DC y hoy le toca el turno a “Teen Titans: The Judas Contract” que como su nombre lo indica tiene como protagonistas a los Titanes y que es sin duda alguna es algo completamente interesante. Sin más que agregar prepárense pues estamos por enfrentarnos a diversos súper seres.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract was released in 2017, based on the comic "The Judas Contract" written by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, directed by Sam Liu and produced by Warner Bros. Home, has a duration of 1 hour and 24 minutes. It is an animated action and superhero film that is a direct continuation "Justice League vs. Teen Titans", the story brings us back to the team of young people having to face Brother Blood with the help of Nightwing, having in turn to make Terra feel welcome the new member of the team.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract fue estrenada en 2017, basado en el comic “The Judas Contract” escrito por Marv Wolfman y George Pérez, dirigida por Sam Liu y producida por Warner Bros. Home, posee una duración de 1 hora y 24 minutos. Es una película animada de acción y superhéroes que es continuación directa “Justice League vs. Teen Titans”, la historia nos trae de nuevo al equipo de jóvenes debiendo enfrentarse al Hermano sangre con la ayuda de Nightwing, teniendo a su vez que hacer sentir bien recibida a Terra la nueva integrante del equipo.

The soundtrack is quite remarkable because it hits the nail on the head in terms of making the different confrontations epic, giving much more immersion not only to the combats but in general to all the events.

La banda sonora es bastante destacable debido a que da justo en el clavo en cuanto a hacer épicas los diferentes enfrentamientos dándole mucha más inmersión no solo a los combates sino en general a todos los acontecimientos.

The animation is just as good as the previous films with a mostly dark color palette to represent the most serious and raw theme that the film raises, all this has been accompanied by a very good fluidity that comes perfect to the different constant moments of action.

La animación es igual de buena que las previas películas con una paleta de colores mayormente oscura para representar con ello la temática más seria y cruda que plantea la cinta, todo esto ha sido acompañado de una fluidez muy buena que le viene perfecta a los diferentes momentos constantes de acción.

The construction of the world is quite pleasant, the context that is given is about a sect that is the cause of the different events to see the titans as a threat to always meddle in their affairs; although the typical atmosphere of good against evil is raised, it is remarkable that it is the villains who make the first move.

La construcción de mundo es bastante agradable, el contexto que se da es sobre una secta que es la causal de los diferentes acontecimientos al ver a los titanes como una amenaza por entrometerse siempre en sus asuntos; si bien se plantea el típico ambiente del bien contra el mal es destacable el hecho de que sean los villanos los que realicen el primer movimiento.

The plot is moderately remarkable, as I mentioned previously it is interesting that it poses the villains as active subjects who make the first move against the heroes, although it is the typical one of good against evil is still quite interesting the way it is built. Another highlight is the fact that there are some plot twists that although they are not the most complex in the world give it a certain remarkable touch with the fact of adding unexpected moments.

La trama es medianamente destacable, como mencione previamente es interesante el hecho de que plantee a los villanos como sujetos activos que hacen el primer movimiento en contra de los héroes, si bien es la típica del bien contra el mal sigue siendo bastante interesante la forma en que es construida. Otro punto destacable es el hecho de que existen algunos giros de trama que si bien no son los más complejos del mundo le dan cierto toque destacable con el hecho de agregar momentos inesperados.

The characters are undoubtedly the most interesting since they continue to have the characterization they had in the previous film, being that this is expanded more by exposing how the powers possessed by most members of the team is more like something inconvenient than something positive because in a positive and negative way it changed the lives of these; although this does not give them an extremely remarkable depth if it gives them a pleasant characterization; outside of the powers that be, the other characters also have their own personal theme, whether it's love, morality, or fully trusting the rest of the team. All this gives characters that although they are not highly complex if it makes them feel like beings with conflicts, problems and desires that may or may not be related to the fact of being a hero and that make them more sympathetic.

Los personajes son sin lugar a dudas lo más interesante puesto estos continúan teniendo la caracterización que poseían en la previa cinta, siendo que esto se amplía más al exponer como los poderes que poseen la mayoría de integrantes del equipo resulta más como algo inconveniente que algo positivo debido a que de forma positiva y negativa cambio las vidas de estos; si bien esto no les da una profundidad sumamente destacable si les da una caracterización agradable; fuera de los poderes también los otros personajes tienen su propio tema personal bien sea amoroso, moral o de confiar plenamente en el resto del equipo. Todo esto da a unos personajes que si bien no son altamente complejos si los hace sentir como seres con conflictos, problemas y deseos que pueden estar o no relacionados con el hecho de ser héroe y que los hacen más simpáticos.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is so far the best DC animated film I've ever seen since apart from the typical confrontation against the villain on duty, the characters are also given some focus to make them more interesting. All this leads it to have a rating of 3.5 stars out of 7, a film of heroes that it is necessary to highlight above the rest.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract es hasta el momento la mejor película animada de DC que haya visto puesto que aparte del típico enfrentamiento contra el villano de turno también se le da cierto enfoque a los personajes para hacerlos más interesantes. Todo ello la lleva a tener una calificación de 3.5 estrellas de 7, una cinta de héroes que es necesario resaltarla por sobre el resto.
