As promised today will be the final review of the Terrifier movie and to be more specific the review of Terrifier 3. In case you haven't read my previous reviews you can find the Terrifier 2 review here and the Terrifier 1 here. Now the Terrified 3 movie is basically a quite new movie that aired literally 2 months ago, on the 19th of September of 2024.

A little reminder that the first movie had a budget of 35000$ and earned 10 times that amount. The second had a budget of 250000$ and earned 60 times that amount and now the third movie has a budget of 2 million dollars (talk about an upgrade) and so far has 85 million dollars in gross earnings. That is 40+ times their budget so another victory for the franchise.

Now let's start the review and please note that there might be some small SPOILERS so skip to the end if you don't want any at.

Plot

Now the 2nd movie ended with Lauren killing Art the clown, i won't tell you how though. Ofc it's a horror movie and the show must go on, thus Art the Clown comes back to life. We get to see 5 years into the past to understand better what has happened and we basically see Victoria Heyes being locked up, giving birth to Art's head. Art goes to her in an Asylum and together they escape.

Soon enough we realize that Victoria is basically the new vessel for the pale girl that we saw in the second film. After that, we get back to the present where the siblings have survived, Sienna is in and out of a mental hospital and her brother is attending college.

Soon they realise that Art is back and is coming for them and they need to find a way to kill him and the pale girl for good. At the same time, Art has his usual fun with everyone in his way especially as it's Christmas! Based on the ending which i won't spoil you should bet that there will be a 4th movie as well so i suggest that you start watching the movies and be ready for the next one.

What I Liked and What I Didn't

To tell you the truth, i really like the fact that the plot continues and in general that there is an actual plot that will continue with the 4th movie as well. It's also nice to see the cast coming together once again. In terms of acting i pretty much like everyone except "mom" and the actor behind Art is phenomenal if you ask me.

Once again the gore/splatter element is here and it gets more "wtf killing was that" than before but to tell you the truth the special effects were at the same level as the second movie. I expected a bit more as the budget had quite an upgrade.

Now let's talk about the fun element. The movie was entertaining and Art was quite funny once again, trolling his victims before killing them. The Christmas theme also helped a lot in that aspect. In my opinion, though the movie should have been out during Christmas.

Overall, it was a nice movie continuing on the same level as the previous ones. Watch with friends to have more fun but don't expect any plot that will leave you in awe. It's simply a cult movie that is quite entertaining!

Y por fin ha llegado la tercera entrega de esta franquicia de gore de terror bastante conocida en los últimos años Terry fire, en esta ocasión no estará ambientada en Halloween como nos tenían acostumbrados sino en las fechas navideñas aparte de todo nos contendrá unas cuantas sorpresas que por fin revelarán ciertos orígenes del personaje, recordemos que aunque esta es la tercera entrega de la franquicia terrify en realidad el personaje ya había aparecido en un cortometraje, pero al director del cortometraje se le hizo tan interesante el personaje que decidió desarrollarlo de mejor manera.

I can even say that if you are not prepared for a movie of this level, be careful because you may not be able to finish watching it.

Pero ¿de qué va la trama de la tercera película? Y por cierto esto contendrá spoilers, la película muy aparte están ambientada en la temporada navideña también vuelve a retomar a la protagonista de la segunda entrega la cual incluso indagará mucho más en los orígenes del personaje y el Por qué este payaso diabólico sigue regresando, todo esto sigue ambientado en un origen bastante demoníaco o diabólico el cual era bastante obvio para los que vieron la segunda parte pero para los que se acuerdan del final de la primera entrega en realidad todo empieza a cobrar sentido con la explicación que se le da a esta película recordemos que en la primera película arte el payaso pasó de ser un simple asesino serial hacer básicamente un payaso diabólico semi inmortal eso tendrá una leve explicación la tercera película No será tan aclarado pero si hay unas pequeñas explicación entre los personajes, si bien es cierto que la película tiene muchos agujeros de guion y la película simplemente se basa en el guion porque las actuaciones cumplen con ser medianamente decentes la verdad es que si eres fanático del terror te la vas a vacilar bastante pero si no puede ser que no sea tu tipo de película especialmente si no tienes el estómago muy fuerte para soportar este tipo de película de gore y cabe destacar que para nada es una película familiar, de resto si le gustan estas reviews de películas coméntenme y también dígame si quieren que les haga unas recomendaciones de películas ambientadas en Navidad de terror.

Hace muy poco, salió la tercera película de Terrifier, la cual está ambientada en navidad, y sin duda para mí es la más fuerte de la saga que ha estado saliendo. The story is much better than it sounds, far from being a straight up slasher, and as far-fetched as it sounds , on a plot level it draws heavily from Twin Peaks.
