Possibly the best action cast ever: Bradley Cooper shines as Face, enjoying the humour, while Sharlto Copley and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson are the perfect foes.
Carnahan's deft direction combines impressive practical stunts with lush CGI styling. The assault on the fortress tank is a scene to remember.
This is great, fun escapism done well: the heroes matter to you even in the biggest scenes. Heart in the midst of chaos.
It also revels in its own absurdity, taking pop culture references to a new level ("I love it when a plan goes right!").
The A-Team proved that the action genre is still capable of surprise. One of the most replayable films of recent years.

Full of rebellious spirit, it's a perfect popcorn movie. I'd love to see Carnahan take the reins of a TV series.
Commercially it did well, grossing $177 million worldwide on a budget of $110 million. Today, however, that figure is considered modest.v
